Based on the modern movie of Romeo &Juliet, anyone would say it's lust. But you need to base your evidence on the time period the piece was actually written in. Back then sex wasn't really something ordinary, especially to people of such nobility. And the fact that they barely saw eachother enough to lust over.

okay to start off i know i am not FAT. but i am 4 foot 11 inches and weight about 105. and i dont care what the scale says i care about the way i look. being so short for my age and having a regular appetite for my age doesnt help. i play 2-3 sports but i know i dont eat very healthy. i just dont like the way my stomach looks...my friends all say i am fine but really they are my friends what are they going to say?....
please tell me if you think i am just exaggerating or i should eat healthier/exercise more but PLEASE do it nicely...(i.e: dont swear and call me an idiot) (link)

You should ALWAYS...ALWAYS eat heathier and exercise a moderate amount. Junk food is good for no one, even stick thin girls. Just up the anty on a stricter diet.

Ok, about a month ago I noticed a small lump around my crotch.. I have just noticed it getting bigger.. Its about 5mm long, and 2mm high.. what do you think it is? could it possibly be cancer? if so.. what sort?

OK, ladies. i just turned 14 and i've been having my period since i was about 13 and a half. im kinda wondering about my breast size. I'm an A cup right now, like i've always been. i havn't felt any breast pain in a few months except ocasionally on my period. I'm really worried that IM NEVER GONNA GET ANY BIGGER!! i asked my mom and she said of course they will grow(shes a large c and was a smaller c before child birth naturally)but im afraid she is just saying that to make me feel better. anyway my question is, are my boobs still growing? I have growing marks or stretch marks on my upper theighs. I've tried excersising that area but I dont know a whole lot of upper theigh/butt excersises. Does anyone know of any that work?
Also, if anyone knows of anything that can either get rid of competely or at least hide the stretch marks I have now. I've heard to use a self tanner but that only made my skin dark and the marks lighter.
Someone help? I promise to rate high.

Certain exercises will not get rid of stretch marks, sorry. Sadly nothing will. There are things like vitamin e that will prevent them from coming or getting bad, but there is really nothing you can do to get rid of them. If they're from gaining weight that you can lose, they'll go away when you lose the weight, because your skin will return back to its original form. But if they're from just growing, they're going to be there. There is make-up you can buy that will cover it up, it even comes in water-proof, it works quite well. It's sold at Eckards, Walgreens, and CVS drugstores. It's called SkinBalm and it's quite cheap.

I have a simple question that I can't find the answer to. In the middle school I go to they have a P.E. class. In P.E. class we do jumping-jacks. What do jumping-jacks help you build? Your arms, legs, stomach, or something? (link)

Jumping jacks is a simple warm-up routine. They don't necessarily "build" anything. They strengthen and stretch your leg and arm muscles for whatever workout is to come, but as for long term effects, there really isn't any.

i've been doing situps every other day for a while since i heard that if you do them everyday you won't get abs. is that true? and i admit i've lost some fat but the sides of my waist still have alot of fat... so how can i make them tighter? because i hate it when i'm wearing clothes that aren't even fat but theres like fat hanging off the side. advice is much needed thanks (link)

Doing sit-ups only creates muscle. You have to burn the fat through cardiovascular to see the muscle or to lose fat at all. Everyone has the misconception that doing sit-ups and cruches and a few leg exercises is going to miraculously burn all this fat, but it's untrue. They do burn calories, but not near enough needed to eliminate those tough spots like love handles, pooches, and back fat. No floor exercise is going to target those areas, you just have to burn the calories in running, jogging, walking and restricting calories. Good luck.

whenever i do crunches on the floor, i always get bad headachs. does anyone know whyy? well anyways, so since i get headaches while doing then on the floor, i do the crunches on my bed. do you think theres a difference between doing crunches on the floor and the bed? its my only way of doing crunches because my head hruts whenever i do crunches on the floor pleasehelp! If you're looking straight ahead above your knees its going to strain your neck muscles and constrict blood flow to your head. Put your hands at your ears but don't touch your head. Look straight up at the ceiling and use your back muscles, not your neck muscles to pull you up.

What do you guys think of a 18-year-old(f) dating a 24-year-old(m). And don't give any of that "age doesn't matter crap" bcasue it does. What do yall think of the maturity levels?

There is no problem with that at all. Maturity levels are fine. If they're dating, they must get along, or if there is even an option of them dating, they must have some sense of compatability. Age does matter, but it only matters when you're worried of what someone else is going to think...
Not necessarily, because the two parties concerned can be the same age and in two different places in their lives. In some cases it can actually be better to be different ages because of the way girls mature faster than boys. The ideal age different would be a girl being a few years younger.

I have to do a speech and presentation in English on Tuesday. I am really nervous and hate looking at people, and if I look at my friends I just laugh. However, I can't get anything higher than a B if I don't have 'audience awareness' and I have to get all A's. So does anyone have any tips on how to be less nervous or how I can have more 'audience awareness' or even how to stop myself laughing at the funny parts of my presentation?

Don't look at anyone. Look at the wall in the back of the classroom. Occasionally look at your teacher. But, don't just stare at one point of the wall. Look around in the back of the classroom and maybe for extra points, make eye contact with one or two of your peers, preferably aquantinces that won't make you nervous.
To not laugh...just practice your speech. You really won't be that nervous

Basically that's all it is, a bruise. When your boyfriend/girlfriend sucks on the sensitive skin on your neck/chest etc it breaks the tiny cappliaries at the surface of your skin and brings the blood to the surface.

Hi,
I was just putting in some new clean bedding for my rabbit and I reached into the hay bag and a very sharp bit of hay got stuck in my hand, about 3mm in. I pulled it out and it bled. I've washed it and put a plaster on but I was wondering if I can catch any kind of infection from that? It's clean hay and I've had my tetanus jab. Should I put antiseptic cream on? And now or when it's healed a little? (link)

I want to make my hair wavy. I already have natural waves, but they aren't that strong, and anyway they're frizzy. My friend uses mousse and scrunches up her hair, and she also uses tongs. I told my mum I wanted to make my hair wavy, but she keeps saying that the only way you can have waves in your hair is to get a perm. It's not, is it?? Because my mate says she's never had a perm. But whatever I say, my mum keeps saying that you can't have wavy hair unless you get a perm, my mum ALWAYS thinks she's right, I can't get through to her. Anyway, how do you make your hair wavy? Please tell me any products/tongs etc that are good, and if there are any sites that tell you how to get wavy hair then I'd appreciate it. I used to curl my hair with tongs, because I did Irish dance competitions. But the curls just fell out like 30 minutes later, so if you know how to actually keep the waves in place, that would be helpful too (I tried tresemme gel spray but that didn't work). Loose Pin curls, lots of heat, and a hair spray. I recommend Aussie Mega Hold.
Or, try a big barrel curling iron, maybe a 2 inch barrel and loosely wrap your hair around the barrel and hold for a few seconds. If it's too tight of a curl, just pull them and spray.
Or, if you want more of a curly wavy look, get a Regis styling glaze, or any styling gel/glaze made for curly/wavy hair. You can put it in your hair dry or wet. Then flip your head over and blow dry it with a diffuser. No hair spray needed. If you don't have a diffuser application that came with your blowdryer, they're only 6$

Okay, I've been best friends with my friend Missi since for about 3 years or more. About 5 months ago I met Cheryl (who had just moved to my school) We have become bestfriends too. Well we are all 3 bestfriends. Well before Cheryl ever came along, me and this guy Greg had dated for a lil over a month, and we had broke up just weeks before I met Cheryl. Well then Cheryl and Greg meet and she thinks hes hott, and he thinks she is too, okay so they end up likein each other. She is my friend so I choose to let myself forget about my feeling for him, because I know the reason I broke up with him to begin with is because he was mean and immature. So I let her have him, well when Cheryl moved from Navarre to Milton she left her boyfriend of 10 months, and they were still talking, and while she was going out with Greg, she cheated on him with her boyfriend Josh in Navarre. I never said anything until about a month or so after her and Greg broke up that she had done that to him. Well now hes finally realizing that Cheryl really loves Josh and hes just someone to lean on when Josh cant be around. Well we get back together (me and Greg). Well me,Cheryl, and Missi, all work at the skating rink together..Missi is off this Saturday night while me and Cheryl are working. Greg is there and his cousin Kenny shows up,who is like 19, well for some dumb reason Missi wants to get her freak on with him, So after Cheryl gets off work Kenny is goin over to Cheryls to do Missi. And of course Greg is goin over there to, I dont trust Greg around Cheryl but I trust Cheryl. Well the next day I find out, that Greg fingered Cheryl and tried to screw her 3 times (Missi told me) after I begged her to tell me what went on, because I knew something was up because Greg was talking to Cheryl on the phone. I am so hurt that Cheryl would touch him, and she knew he was with me, and Im even more hurt that Missi let Cheryl and Greg do it to me. Well the day I find out about this, which is the day after it all happened, I get a phone call that night, and its Missi, Im like where are you at and she goes "Oh me, Cheryl, Kenny, and Greg are over at the mall, and Greg wants to talk to you" of course Greg dumps me. And furious I call Missi's grandparents and tell them where she is really at and who shes really with. She gets grounded out the butt. And now she wants to be my friend again and has wrote me the letter saying how she is sorry, and made a scrap book thingy of us. Should I take Missi back as a friend ? And as far as Cheryl goes she has tried to apologize too.. Should I forgive either one of them. I mean once was horrible, why'd they do it a second time if they knew it would hurt me?

Chances are is that she is just as hurt as you are because she went and screwed up a wonderful friendship over a guy! Give her another chance, but be cautious. And never date someone you can't trust around your friends.
