Doing sit-ups only creates muscle. You have to burn the fat through cardiovascular to see the muscle or to lose fat at all. Everyone has the misconception that doing sit-ups and cruches and a few leg exercises is going to miraculously burn all this fat, but it's untrue. They do burn calories, but not near enough needed to eliminate those tough spots like love handles, pooches, and back fat. No floor exercise is going to target those areas, you just have to burn the calories in running, jogging, walking and restricting calories. Good luck.

who told you that it won't give you abs?

that is a lie.

sit ups everyday will make you (rolled 'r') ripped. i promise.

and girls.. no matter how small they are will have a bit of pudge in their lower stomach abdomen area. the only advice i can give is don't over do it.

eat right.
and don't exercise in excess in relation to what you eat because that is called bolemia.

Lay on your side, and put your hands behind your head like you are going to do sit ups. Face your head (and hands) towards the ceiling and do "sit ups" that way to get the sides of your waist tighter. Besta Luck

No, that's not true because doing abdominal exercises such as sit ups will tone your abs, it will just take some time to see results. That fat or extra skin on the side of your waists are called love handles and you can do side crunches to get rid of them. They are just like crunches, except you move to the side.
