i have this kitten, she's about 6 or 7months old, i've had her since she was born because she is the kitten of one of my other cats. anyway she's always had good health but recently she's been throwing up all her food. this happened two days ago and again tonight. she also has diarhea, gross i know. i recently switched food but we always switch the food so i dont know if thats the problem. the other cats are fine with the food. but i was wondering if there was anything i could give my kitten to settle her stomach??
you mentioned that you switch food often: this could be the reason your kitten is throwing up.
you should change food gradually, especially with younger and more older cats. also please take her to the veterinarian to treat her vomiting and diarrea: they will give her fluids because she may be very dehydrated.

My dog Bear is a mix bread of a German-Shepered and Black Lab, and ever sence Christmas she's been slipping, sliding, falling on our hard wood floor and she can't get up by herself.She's 12 years old which is old for a dog but she's mine!She has to protect us!She can't leave.....I've seen this happen before to a friends dog and she ended up putting him down but I don't want to put Bear through pain.She's always been here...I was like 2 when we got her and she's apart of the family.I'm crying just asking this but if she doesn't get better I-- I always wanted her to be here to slink around rooms and check on us, Im afraid im ganna come home and she'll be gone(past away).How do I help her?Both of her back legs give out and slide right out from under her....

take her to a vet ASAP. get her checked out. their may be something wrong with her that is treatable, but if it is not they will recomend putting her down. if it comes to putting her down, i recemond doing it. i know it sounds harsh, but you will have a chance to properly say goodbye. and remember she loves you and your family too, and if she is dying in an empty house she will be thinking of you and how she wants your guys to be there. if shes being put down, dogs always sence what they are at the clinic for, and she will also be able to say goodbye to you and your family.
but i really do hope that she will be okay.
for now, take lots of pictures of her, and with her. vidieo tape her, take her paw print. just things that you can look at later and remember her by. that way you will feel she is still with you.
and remember, death is natural. i know sounds kinda cheesy but still, everyone dies. its part of nature as much as living is.
I just settled in a new city and my son thinks it's time I began to date again. I'd like to know where the good men are, the ones who are kind and considerate, who have good jobs and have, or have had, families of their own in the past. I don't want married men; I don't want abusive men. I don't want to go to bars because I'm afraid all I'll meet are guys who hang out in bars, and I already have one alcoholic ex-husband! I have a good job, make good money, and am a darned interesting and intelligent person. Where should I go to meet "my kind" of guy?
just some ideas:
throw a holiday party at your house/apartment for your close friends, and tell them to bring their friends. during the party, start talking to some of these friends' friends. Youll never know who you might meet!!
also go to the library. lots of intelligent people there.
does your son do a sport? talk to his team mates' parents, theres probably bound to be some single parents.
and last but not least, COWORKERS, and even your clients if you work in a business situation.
what about neighbors? keep a whatchful eye for any single ones.

Okay I've seen a couple recent questions on splits but I have one more thing I need to know. My splits are about 5 inches on my right leg and probably 7 on my left leg from the ground. If I stretch everyday how long could it take to get my splits? I need them by approx late April/early May for my studio's show. Is it possible? Okay thanks!
if you stretch every day for about 5-8 minutes each leg sitting in the splits then youll get them by march. it kinda depends how flexible you are tho. good luck!!!

your face is getting dry in the winter because it is cold outside, and your face is getting a slight frostbite.
try using vaseline instead of cocoa butter and a moisturizer in the morning

that IS one inch below average (which is 5-6). BUT you are only 13 and you have plenty of time to elongate (lol). most guys penises stop growing at around 15.

I'm 14/f, and I was on this pill for a year that made me lose my appetite. My doctor finally took me off of it...but now, my stomach has completely shrunk, because when you don't eat, your stomach shrinks. I can barely eat half of a hamburger without being so full, I want to throw up. I am *NOT* anorexic. I've gone from 88 pounds to 81 pounds. My doctor keeps telling me just to "eat more" but I can't just "eat more", or I'll get sick!
How do I gain weight and my appetite back?
eat a little bit but many times a day. for example, a *very* small portion of oatmeal (2-3 tablespoons), then in 1-1.5 hours have another 2-3 tablespoons of something else, etc. with each week bring the portions up by one or two table spoons until you can eat a full meal 3 times a day while feeling comfortably full.
avoid foods that are high in fats, this will be too much for your stomach.

how can i get my hair to stay straight? its about at the bottom of my shoulder blades in the back, and in the front its like at the top of my chest. its naturally really thick and curly. i already blow dry it as straight as i can get it, then straighten it with a Conair flat iron. it looks really good when i first do it, then then it gets wavy or poofy as the day goes on. i put gel in it to try to smooth it out after i straighten it. ahh!
also, whats a really good straightener that i can get for under about $40 [i know i wont get a REALLY good one for that price, but whats the best for that range] that i dont have to order?

my house is usually pretty cool, which isnt good for my parakeet. he shivers a lot whenever hes out of his cage. i keep the top of his cage covered with a towel to keep him warm, but what else can i do to keep him warm?

pleasepleaseplease be careful with the heat lamp. your parakeet can easily become overheated. if you are planning to use a heat lamp than put a folded towel over the cage than set the lamp on top of the towel.

what i reccomened is a water bottle filled with warm water and set inside the cage or hang it up by a perch so they can nestle next to it if they are cold.

a heating pad set on low underneath the cage will also be nice. the water bottle is preferable though because if they ARE cold they can sit on it or what not but with a heat lamp if they get too hot theirs no escaping the heat

i would say 3. before they actually give you the shot, they numb the area with this liquid stuff they rub on with a q-tip (which doesnt hurt at all). they give it about a minute to go into effect, than give you the shot in the numbed area, which will numg it even further. that parts doesnt exactly hurt, it just feels extremely wierd: like theres no pain but you feel something piercing your jaw.

Okay, first of all, my best friend gave me a kitten when her cat gave birth to a healthy litter of 4. The little kitten is a female and she is just SO cute.
My mother has allergies, so she won't let me have any cat or dog. My father hates the smell of any animal... so my sisters and I have been keeping it a secret. We have a babysitting job so we can buy cat food, litter box, blah blah... We loved having the first kitten so we got another 2. It went well for two weeks.
We've been keeping them in the backyard, hidden in the space under the deck.
They got fleas. What would be a good way to get rid of them besides going to the vet?? I think I need my parents to go to the vet so I don;t want to...

you dont have to be an adult to take your pets to a vet. your kittens should be spayed/neutered (to prevent them from running away) and vaccinated, especially since they live outdoors under the deck. so start saving up money!!!! itll cost 200-400 dollars depending on the vet
for the fleas: flea bath - use flea killing shampoo
or there's lots of topical products to choose from at pet stores/kmart/longs drugs/ etc.
