My name is Teza.. short for Tereza. I was born in Croatia and I speak more than one language. I'm 22 years old & I completed 2 college degrees in 3 years. My a bachelors is in Business Administration concentration in Human Resources and my Masters degree is also in HR.



I started this advice column about 9years ago and I was so young but it was something that I always loved to do. I am trying to get back to answering questions, at least a few per day. With that said, if you have questions about school, friends, make up, etc., feel free to ask.

How do you know if a guy likes you or not?

Well the guy would be flirting a lot with you. He would tickle you, always talk to you but thats if hes not shy. And he would be really sweet. x0

Sometimes I think that dancing rules my life. I take a very rigid, strict class where everything must be "just so" and I can't do anything when I want to. One day when my friend tied a friendship bracelet around my wrist, my dance teacher saw it and personally cut it off my wrist so I wouldn't wear it again. Also, when I want to try a sport like soccer or basketball, my dance teacher is the one who refuses to let me, saying that I will twist something or break something and I wouldn't be able to dance. My parents just stand around saying "Listen to what she says, dear. Listen." Now I really want to get some gentle highlights in my hair and my parents said yes at first, but they changed their minds when my dance teacher said no. What do I do?

Dude! Your teacher is like controling your life! Shes not your mom and dad and do what ever the flip you want. Tell her your parents said you can and they dont have a problem with it so you can do it. She might be your teacher but she cant tell you what to do with your hair and what sports you can play. I wouldnt even dance for her cuz shes a bi*ch! I would yell at her and tell her to stop controling what you do. x0

Yeah...so my friend is staying at my house for a week because her parents are out of town. But my house is so....BORING! And the TV is broken, so that pretty much stinks. =( Any ideas what we can do??? ITS SOOOO BORING!!!! lol

Maybe you both can go over to another friends house. If your TV is broken go to the movies and watch a movie. Get a ride to the mall. Call people and talk to them on the phone. Talk to people on AIM! Make a scrapbook,make cookies,go out side and play a sport you both like. If you have a dog take it for a walk and just do fun stuff. x0

H3Y even though this question is long please don't pass it over I need help.


Im almost fourteen and my nine seventeen year old brother died about a week ago. I don't want to talk about it and my parents are trying to force me into it. I don't want to talk sometimes, I just want to forget. But theres something inside me that wont let me and thats when I get either angry or sad, but I never find myself in tears. I havn't cried since I found out he was dead. Those were tears of shock. If you were in the middle of an algerbra test and got pulled out just to be told your big brother was hit by a car you would probably cry too. I can't take this anymore. Sometimes I just want to turn him into some distant memory, and other times I want to remember him. People tell me to remember all the good times we had, but that just makes me even more sad to know that we won't ever have those times again. My parents arn't helping either. They're wanting to have another baby. They want to replace him. Plus they have allready started turning his old room into a study for my dad. MY twenty year old sister does nothing but cry and therefore gets all the sympathy. I dont ever cry so people think I dont care, but I probably care more than anybody. I know even though he's dead but not gone it still doesn't help me. I find myself always asking "What if." I can't stand "What ifs" But the one question that I have always promised I'd never ask myself is "Why me" Then I realized I shouldn't be asking why me. I wasnt the one that died. So now I am despising my sister for her constant mourning, because she's not crying for Bryson, she's crying for herself. All I need to know is that if I force myself into crying if it will make the pain go away. And if it won't how can I stop hating the world around me. Because now I'm starting to hate myself. I'm afraid to love or trust anybody again and I can't do it alone.

Im so sorry! I know its really hard when you loose someone you love. One of my really close friends lost her 17 year old brother also but she is doing better now. You will always miss him no matter what. Dont try to forget about him and you should remember all the good times! You are in a lot of pain and it hurts even more to hold it in. If you feel like crying just let it out it will help. Hes not gone and you will be with him again! By talking about it also might help but maybe its too soon for you now. I hope you feel so much better and you should know that everyone is always there for you no matter what. x0

Ask the guy is he does and ask her. Just be like do you like him .. stop saying you dont and stuff. Play around tho. When they say they like each other tell them that the other person likes them to and they will go out for sure. x0

How do you know he doesnt like you? Have a friend talk to him for you. As much as you want to ask him out I think you should stay friends for a while and see how it goes later on. He might start to like you and you might have a chance.x0

Ok, well me and my boyfriend broke up last night. I'm actually kind of happy, cause now I can see what a jerk he was, but here's what happened: I'm kind of upset over something that's happening at my house and only my best friend and my mom knows, and he kept on going, what's wrong? please tell me. And I told him I wasn't ready to tell him, and he wouldn't stop bothering me about it, and started saying things like, you won't tell your bf a damn thing and that I was pissing him off. So we just broke up. I really felt like he was pressuring me and I didn't want to tell him. And another thing, when we were going out, he would always say he loved me, and I would think that he didn't, because first off, we were online bf/gf, but he only lives an 1 away and we were gonna meet at the movies real soon, but like, how can he love me when we've never even met? And second, we only went out for a month, and I remember him saying that the first day we went out and I totally think he was abusing it. My question is, was he being a jerk and broke up with me for no reason, or should I have told him "just cause we're going out"? And what do you think about him saying I love you. Because I think that if he did, he would have given me the time and waited until I was ready to tell him. And today, I got online and he had "TASHA" with a winky face next to it. Okay let me start. If you didnt want to tell your boyfriend thats fine. He couldnt make you tell him and you didnt have to he just got mad over no reason at all. He was kind of pressuring into telling him. Sorry to say but this boy didnt love you. I dont know how you can say I love you to someone when you barley even know them and only after a month. He was defenetly being a jerk for breaking up with you. He had no reason at all. Just becuase you wouldnt tell him something. okay well i'm going on a graduation trip in a couple weeks, and i'm kinda having 2 little problems, lol. i'm a teenager, a girl. we bunk with 3 other girls if that helps. anyway..

1. I don't think I'll be able to fall asleep lmao because if I do, I can be a very heavy sleeper and I'm not sure if I trust anyone to wake me up. I don't want to be tired the next day, should I bring like Starbucks double shot expressos or something haha?

2. I have a weird fear of rollercoasters, and I don't know why. I think it might be because I'm afraid of something going wrong. Should I just go on one .. or what ? lol I just don't know, I don't want to be all screaming and embarrass myself either.

A lot of people are heavy sleepers so dont worry about it. They will wake you up. You could bring Starbucks dounle shot expressos if that would help you.

Again, a lot of people have a fear of rollercosters! Nothing will go wrong because the people who build it tested it out so nothing will go wrong. Everyone screams on them so its not a big deal. x0
