My name is Teza.. short for Tereza. I was born in Croatia and I speak more than one language. I'm 22 years old & I completed 2 college degrees in 3 years. My a bachelors is in Business Administration concentration in Human Resources and my Masters degree is also in HR.



I started this advice column about 9years ago and I was so young but it was something that I always loved to do. I am trying to get back to answering questions, at least a few per day. With that said, if you have questions about school, friends, make up, etc., feel free to ask.

im scared. how do people spend their summers?

Why be scared? Summer should be amazing and fun. Most people spend their summer hanging out with friends, parties, bbq`s, swimming, staying up late, waking up late.. those kind of things. Most people also go on vacations. Just enjoy your summer and enjoy being out of school. Go out with your friends and don't worry about anything.

I am going to a new school next year and i met a couple of people. there is a really cute boy who is totally down to earth and really nice and funny. he hangs out with the people i know, and ive met him a couple of times. how can i get him to like me like i like him. (sorry for all the likes)

In order for him to like you, he has to get to know you better. It's understandable if he doesn't feel the same way about you at first. It is kind of quick and just get to know each other better. Be yourself around him and have a good time. It'll show how you really are and it'll make him more interested in you. Hang out more and just flirt. Good luck with everything.

I don't really understand threesomes.. I mean I know that it's three people having sex, but like what do you do?
If it's two girls and a guy, does the guy go on top and stick it in one girl and then move onto the other?

Sex is sex and it doesn't matter how many people you do it with, it's pretty much the same thing. I don't think that your question is appropriate for this website. My honest opinion for you is to watch a .. movie about it. It's not a bad idea and you'll see everything and learn everything that you need to know. It'll explain threesomes better than any of us will.

Im 13/f and been going out with this guy for 5 months almost 6 months. Everyday on the phone after we were done he goes, okay i got to go now, bye, love ya and i go ok bye love ya. but lately he has only been saying bye, and not even calling some nights. and i cant help but think he doesnt love me. :( am i paranoid? am i just crazy?

Not to sound rude or anything, but he doesn't "love" you. You guys are 13 years old and you nether one of you know what love really is. Saying that on the phone every once in a while doesn't really mean much but at your age, it's hard to love someone after only 5 months. If he stoped calling you and such, he might of lost interest. Call him once in a while and see what's up. Some signs of not liking someone anymore is not calling, not communicating, and those things. It's obvious but just talk to him and see what's going on. You're not crazy. Guys do crazy things and sometimes we just don't know what to think.

Hi. I love MySpace; I'm addicted. I want my pictures to look cuteeee. I'm tired of doing the whole 'mouth to the side, weird eyes, [[pop them]]' or you know those silly faces. I want them to look sereious. Like modell-ish. I haven't really seen any girls who just take MySpace picctures of their face [[except scene]] and still looks sort of model-ish. I'm sorry but I do not have time to look through all of my friends on MySpace and send you the links. I however am not a big fan of MySpace. I don't go on it as much and I don't add everyone or accept that many people so I'm not really sure what to tell you. When you're taking pictures, be original. I can't tell you what poses to make or that sort of thing, but just do what you like. Taking "serious" pictures isn't that hard though. Just do what you're comftrable with it and maybe editing your photos would make them look better? When people get many friend requests on MySpace is probablly because those people know them, their friends know them, have good pictures or because their page is tyte.

there is this guy and we have been going out for about almost a month now. 2 nights ago we went to the movies. we kind of barely talked at the begining b/c we both can be shy then at the end we started talking a wholelot. then twoards the end we kissed. but he usually calls me everyday and he hasnt called me at all well he didnt at all call me yesterday, and idk if hes gonna call me today.. do you know whats happening, does he wanna end it?

I'm not sure why he's acting like that but maybe he feels akward calling you or talking to you. Don't wait for him to call you. Call him once in a while. See how things go from there and if he wants to end it, you'll know but I'm sure that's not the reason. Good luck with everything.

I'm not a specalist about these things but there is a possibility that you could get pregnant. You most likely won't but there is always a chance. If you want more information, look it up because I'm not positive. Sorry.

Which one of these two dresses should I wear to my grade 8 grad? (Yes poka dots are popular in my class)

But..those are giant poka dotted so i don't know if it'll seem weird..it may be good with my classmates but thousands of relatives of my classmates are going to be there so even though they might critisize me inisde their minds, I'll still feel bad.

The one on the right did not show up well. It's white with little black and blue dots everywhere.

Yes..my aunt bought these..I would have bought dresses different but I was too skinney and short so the dresses looked big on me.

I personally like the red and white dress but since the other dress didn't show up right, I can't get a good look at it and it doesn't look as cute. Just because it has big poka dots won`t make people think of you badly or anything. It's a cute dress & your relativies will think you look lovely. Have fun at your grad party :)

I just sort of got into a new group of friends & i love them. They have gone to parties with like this certain group of guys & girls alot so they are used to it. I have not. I'm scheduled to go to one of these parties with them soon. I need some tips to make it less awkward with the guys. The problem is that i've know them all forever but i havnt really talked to them so it's not like a totally new fresh start & its not really like a getting to know party. I don't want it to be all awkward and have me sitting on the sides following my friends the whole time. help?

The only was that it would be akward is if you make it to be. When you get to the party, you have to start talking to people. Last night I went to a party with people I didn't really know but I intoduced myself and talked to them. Hang out with you friends and meet new people and talk to them. Just have fun and it won't feel akward unless you make it that way.

My brother has a Sidekick 3 & I love it! You can do everything on it, that's if you get the internet. It's easier to text :) & he web brousers is fast. It's worth getting one.

okay so i really like this guy and i've liked him for so long and everytime i think I'm over him..im not. We wont hang out for awhile and then i think i just dont like him anymore and i really try not to like him because everytime i do it gets me no where. We've liked each other before but nothing ever happens. And then he likes one of my friends too. They had gone out before but broke up and i can tell he still likes her. Why exactly can't you like him again? You guys never took your friendship to the next level, so why didn't it ever work out? It's hard getting over someone that you really like and no doubt, it's hard. Don't force yourself to get over him as soon as possible. It'll take time but you have to move on if there is a reason why things wouldn't work out. I know that he likes your friend, but you don't know how he truely feels about you. Meet new guys. Keep busy so you don't think about him and it'll get your mind off him. It's hard and you won't get over him quickly but he's not the only guy out there for you.

It's the last to days of school and they are both half days. I want something fun to do thats memorable & could include other people & guys. Something not expensive. Thanks !

When I was in middle school and almost every year, the last day of school, my friends would all go to someone's house for a party. We'd swim, bbq and just have fun. You could do that. Just go to a friend's house and hang out there. It's not expensive and since everyone would be together, it'd be really fun. It's better if there is a swimming pool though but if not, oh well. Have fun.

Your current boyfriend could be just shy and not very expirienced in relationships. Call him up once in a while and maybe he'll be more comftrable to call you. If he still acts the same, you should end up but that's only if you're sure that you want to.


It's hard to tell if a guy likes you. Sometimes they send us mixed signals and we're never sure but hang out with him more. The more time you spend together, the faster you'll know if he's into you. Call him and ask to go somewhere with some friends and just get to know each other better. If he flirts with you and such, he's probablly into you. Just take things slow and see how everything goes.

i like 2 guys. ill start with the first one. L is a great guy. we've been "together" except NOT for about a year. he doesn't have the balls to ask me out, but tells everyone we're talking. so i just go along with it. obviously i like him alot bc he's been around for so long.. and now ive been thinking i might love him. theres been other guys this year- but for some reason it always comes back to me coming back to L. we're great together.. but i'm sick of being "in between" with him with feelings and such. i'm currently mad at him for ditching me to go to the lake- we were going good until that little stunt a couple of days ago. hes really sweet its just i dont know anymore- i'm not going to ask him out either just because i want to KNOW he likes me. not just hear him say it. and have his friends tell me.
guy#2- P is also a great guy. he was my 3rd grade boyfran :) he moved away in 4th and we didn't talk until this year bc he moved back to alabama. i know it sounds crazy us being sophmores now, but i could feel the feelings i did from 3rd grade. he makes me laugh and mad in the right ways. the only problem is that when he moved back, he moved about 30 min away from me. we both now thats too far for 15 year olds to have a real relationship but i know if he lived closer we would be perfect together. he comes down here every once in awhile to visit and he is this week. we go out and we're the ideal couple, but its just distance. i dont know what to do.

I know what it's like being stuck between two guys that you like. It's hard but you can't have both. You and L seem to have just a "thing". Is it ever going to be more than that? You need to talk to him and see where things are going to lead to. You can't just be stuck on him if he doesn't want to ask you out or want a relationship. It's not fair for you to wait around until he's ready for it. So like I said, talk to him about this and be completley honest with him. He needs to open up and tell you how he feels and if there's going to be anything between you guys. Now, guy # 2. Since P is back, start talking to him as friends. You can't just say you guys are perfect for each other and pick up where you left off. It would be hard seeing each other because he lives 30 minutes away, but if you both like each other THAT much, it'll work out. Talk to him as friends and hang out. Call him back! You might be missing out on a great guy. It doesn't matter if he's a little bit shorter than you. He probablly has other great qualities about him and you can't just look at the bad things. Call him back and see if he's going with anyone else. If so, oh well. Just ask to hang out some other time.

Sunburn suckss and especially when your skin peels. It's fine if you put non-sented lotion on your skin. You won't break out unless you're alergic to it but I doubt that. You can use any lotion. Also, make sure you hydrate your skin daily. Be gentle when you apply the lotion or any make up. It'll go away soon though :)

I don't think it's right to have sex when you're 14 if you're not ready. Most girls don't know what they want and think that it's right and that they are ready for it but that's not always how it turns out to be. If you're in a relationship with someone that you really like, it's fine to do sexual things but I wouldn't go all the way until you're for sure that it's what you want to do.

MY PARENTS ARE SO ANNOING!! GOD IM 13 AND IM WILLING TO PAY FOR MY WHOLE PHONE AND THE BILL THATS 60 DOLLARS A MONTH!! THE WHOLE THING!! First of all, you need to chill out. I understand that you're pissed off, but don't yell at us because of it. Who cares that you don't have a phone? Yeah, they're awesome but you're 13. I didn't get a phone until I turned 15. The reason I didn't get one was because I kept being a brat about it and asking all the time which is exactly what you're doing. Stop acting immature and respect the fact that they won't get you a phone right now. Talk to your parents nicely and explain to them how you're willing to save money for a phone. I'm sure they'd want you to save your money for more important things, but when you stop annoying them with it, they'll know that you're mature enough to handle having one. You may not think it's a big deal or whatever, but it is. Be respectful and understand. I'm not trying to be rude by saying these things, but you need to hear it.
