I'm 15 and female and I've never kissed a guy. I go to an all-girls Catholic high school, and I haven't kept up with ANY of my very few guy friends from when I went to co-ed schools.

*reads question, cringes at own stupidity*

So . . . how can I meet new people? I have a lot of really great friends, but it would be nice to meet some new people, and possibly get a boyfriend.

Any ideas?

be yourself, as simple as it sounds, works everytime. Plus hit downtown or the movie theaters and when you see a cute guy, dont be afraid to approach. gl on your search sweetie!

seeing someone usually means boyfriend/girlfriend. Or sometimes to people it can mean dating and seeing if you guys are for eachother.

ok ..im 14/f and one of my best friends is 14/m..he doesnt go to my school...although lives in the district and i seem him here and there...hes been askin me how to ask a girl out..and i kept telling him to be himself..he just wont listen to me on that part advice...and he kepts telling me to put myself in that position..and i said "no" then he said "well its not hard 4 u ur a girl" and i said "its hard 4 us as well..bc we have to turn down guys we dont like"..and i dk how to tell just to be himself..bc he wont listen to that...and he a few days ago he asked me "how do i ask a girl out and not get turned down??"..and im like idk its not something predictable...and he goes to a private school..and i go to public school..so i have no clue who this girl is..if i did ..i would have asked her if she liked him..but i dk ....so im pointless at this point...-thx

P.S. also...i asked him last night on-line what this girls name is and he said "marissa" and i asked him way be4 that.."what would you say if i said i liked you" and he said "i dunno" and said well what would your 1st response be if i said i did and he said "u do?" and i said oooo..then he said something or w/e and i said you scare me sometimes and he didnt say anything for 2 mins and i said..."do you care that you do sometimes" and he said "yea"..and i said "how much?" and he said "______________________________________________________________________________"
and i said "ooohh"..and when we got into an little argument over what is harder being a girl or being a guy...and he said we have it easier..and when i said "no we dont bc we have to turn down guys who ask us out, i had to do it 5 times" and he said "w/ whoooo?"..like if he was affaird i was taken or something..ahh it drives me insane..-thx again

Plus how can I help someone who gives me about a morsel of their problem, exactly I cant. To help you with your situation...well its a little confusing but Im getting it lol . well maybe he likes you. And hes the one asking you for advice because he wants to see what will work best if he were to ask you out. I say you straight out tell him y ou really do like him. It can only get better like that. Maybe there is a Marissa, but she's obviously a lot less important than you are or you'd no a little more about her. He talks to you alot and your little fights sound kinda cute lol. You guys sound like you belong together and i really think you should just tell him. Telling him is the best thing to do.....

ok well theres this guy i have been liking for a while, lets call him b*. well he started talking to me like 3 weeks ago and we've been cool ever since. he's been giving me hugs, saying hi to me around school n stuff. he's always asking me for gum lol cause im the "gum lady." he seems to be a real sweetheart. well this last week, we were partners in class and he was like touching all up on me and he told me he likes me n stuff. he was asking me all these questions and just being very "friendly." he asked me if i like him and i said yes, and he seemed very happy about that. he gave me his number and told me to call him, so i did and it didn't seem like he wanted to talk to me. and now around school he doesn't give me hugs anymore.. when i talk to him it seems like he doesn't care or whatever. i went to the homecoming football game and i talked to him and he just like didn't listen to anything i said and he was a real jerk to the guy friend that i brought. do you think he still likes me, and why might he be acting all weird?

wanna know what i think? Hes a jerk. Any guy that wouldnt give a reasonable explanation for why they dont want to talk to you anymore ore are just plain mad at you is a coward and can't express their feelings. Maybe hes playerish. If he likes you he neesd to come to you, and even still he better do a hell of a lot of apologizing after putting you through that for no apparent reason. I dont think guys like that are even worth going out with b/c they'll shatter your heart again and again. Don't be sorry, he's not even worth it in the first place. I wouldnt even try asking him why hes being the way he is, believe me ive met a lot of guys and lots of them do this. It's a name tag for "im a jerk".

13/f Sorry if this is a little confusing!

My friend goes to a differnt school than me. She introduced this kid to me (hes 12) and now I'm beginning to liek him. I know he likes me too, because my friend asked him and he said yes, and he also told me. Like, it would work out great with us, except for one thing, my friend. She used to go out with him and he dumped her a little while ago. But she still likes him..a LOT. He knows that she likes him, but he doesnt like her. The girl that introduced us (that I have been talkign about the whole time, that likes him also) is mad at him for liking me, and mad at me for liking him. She really doesn't want me to like him, but it's hard NOT to..you know what I mean?? Well it's really confusing and I don't know what to do. What if he asks me out? I like him a lot too, but I don't want to lose my friend. Please help me?

ok well your friend needs to get over it. Even if you said no to going out with him then you'd be unhappy and she still would be because he obviously doesnt like her. So what you BOTH need to be miserable?? I dont think so. Your frined introduced you two and you rele like eachother and thats that. Plus she needs to see that relationships at your age dont last forever...you guys arent gunna get married....your just gunna date a little. My boyfriend has been in Juvie for a few weeks, and i don't know how to communicate with him. I can't call him or visit him, i can write letters and stuff, but i can't send roses or anything. Will he dump me when he gets out for lack of communication?

Well none of us here knows your boyfriend so we couldnt really say. All there is to offer to you is that if he did dump you it wouldnt be your fault at all he got himself in that juvie mess and then he'd dump you b/c you guys could only write letters due to what he did? Well that would be a real jerk. But another thing is maybe he's not the most respectable person to be going out with and therefore you may not even want to go out with him. But of course whatever you deside is up to you. I think his letters will foreshadow what will happen when he gets out. If he seems bored and not really enthusiastic it sounds like a breakup coming up.... but if hes really excited to hear from you and writes with passion he still likes you. umm chances are that he's just really mad and he doesn't actually want you to leave. If your over 18 then you need to go even if it means that you have t o go to a homeless shelter. But since it doesnt sound like your over 18 you have every right to live with your dad and if he doesnt stop this wierd talk you could just clal the police. I suppose. It could be.....but the chances are so slim people that age are s0 young to even rele know. I mean... they can think they're in love but they may just be substituting the word for big crush. What love is is when you can't stop thinking about that person, you feel liek you'd do anything for them, and they're basically your other half. So the answer is most likely no, but it could always happen. Usually people dont really fall in love till they're engaged/married b/c thats a strong point in a relationship, and love is a strong word. GL xoxo

well yeahh teens are usually rele depressed but it shouldnt be all the time. I think you should get a psychologist before things get out of hand and you rele just dont feel good about ne thing anymore. I know im really emotional and stuff but it shouldtn be ALL the time. Try talking about your problems with youyr friends and get some stress out through music, it helps me soo much just listening to my favorite cd gets me from crying to dancing and being rele stupid... (lol like funny stupid). I think you should get a therapist tho.

ok look there is a rumor going around in my school saying that i stuck my tongue down this girls throat which i didn't. but there are more rumors being thought up about me and this girl. her friends bielive every word of it. and so i tried talking to them, but they wouldnt listen. so i made this petition saying this "This petition is to say that you believe that the rumor whether you have or haven’t heard it that. hey okay im a 14/f and im home sick from school today...i have a stuffy nose, really bad cough, and a super sore throat. my whole back and neck are really sore, and it hurts to move my neck really bad. is this just from being sick or do i have something else wrong?

Noo, your definetly just really sick. The best thing to do is rest and lay down and watch favorite tv shows or movies b/c you need to be lying down especially if your neck and your back hurt like that. If when you do get over this, your neck still hurts, it could be something else but i doubt it. Plus, have you considered maybe you have the Flu?

It means that he's afraid of telling you what he really feels. If he does like you he'll come around you just gotta hang on tight. Don't keep bugging him just keep your flirt on and have fun, hang out with him, go to the movies, your house/his, just spend the time.

I'm 15 years old and currently have a job that pays $5.80/hour...8 hours a day...that means around $40. I work 5 days a week and the paychecks are every two weeks. What would you do to keep from spending all your money at once? Please help...

I'd make an organized way of splitting up money. If you get 40 bucks a week, make $20 of that yours to spend every week. Let the other money just build up until a big shopping day where you WANT to spend that money or you NEEd something like clothes, sports equipment, jewelrey, something you really want and need to pay for by yourself. Let yourself spend 20 a week if even and put 20 away safely in a box of yours or something you own. If you get organized, things will totally work out for you, you just have to try hard and give it some time.

What should I charge people when I babysit their children? Preferably I'd like the answers in English pounds not American dollars.

Well, I'm not familiar with English Pounds, quite sorry for putting it in American Dollars, but I better answer incase others don't.

Lets see ....... if your younger i'd say 12-14, only charge $5-6 USD, and also if there's less kids.

Now if you're 12-14 and there's three or more children, charge 7-8 USD.

And if your 15 up, I'd say just charge 10 dollars an hour. People are usually much more willing to pay older people more money because it's just how things go.

i think you should go! Who knows you may have a very good time, you can always hang out with your friends from school you see them every day of the week practically i say you go and see your old friends. If you feel left out tell them you're "tired" and get a ride home. No big deal. Because honestly, you can be missing out on a lot of fun, who knows you may have an awsome time I say totally give it a chance. Have Fun !!
