Hi, this is Kate. I'm 17. My life motto is 'Live Laugh Love', I really think those are great words to live by and I'm planning to have it made into a tattoo. I'm not religious but I love learning about different religions. I write stories based on things that have happened to me because sometimes I have days where I just think 'wow that sounds like something out of a book'. I've finished 3 stories and I'm about to start my first horror story..very exciting. I believe in fairy tale love...the kissing in the rain, staring at the stars on the rooftop kind of love..Why? Because I'm in that kind of love and its been the greatest time of my life. And it didn't come easy.
I'd love to help you with whatever issues come your way. I've been in relationships where the guy was too old for me, the guy was my best friend, the guy just wanted to get some. I've been the other woman but I'm not proud of it. I've been the girl who waits years to be with the guy she wanted.
I come from the type of home where everyone seems okay and then when everyone leaves its chaos. My parents should have been divorced years ago and I can't stand to be around either of them so for now I'm going day by day, only coming home to sleep and counting down the days until I go to college in August.

yeah it's called heat stroke. i had it when i was three but it only lasted for a day and i ate some ice cream and stayed out of the sun and i was fine. sometimes it can be worse though

Ok so i just turned 13 last month, im the youngest person in my whole grade ! and my friends are turin 14 soon .. and they are all have their periods and have regular size boobs .. but they got their in like 6th or 7th grade , and im going into 8th ! you know that checkup thing when your like 12 , well they said i wouldnt get my period till im about a freshmen .. like 2 years and this was about like going into 6th grade. I have pubic hair under my armpits and on my vagina .. and i sometimes ill have white stuff on my underwear and this has been like this for about 3 months .. and to let you know im really small and i have no boobs ATALL im flatchested. hey i have a chest and i'm almost 14 going into 9th grade and still haven't gotten it yet. sorry but i think you might have a long way to go. i wouldn't listen to the doctor. a year and a half ago he said i'd get my period in the next month. well that didn't happen. i'm sure you've heard this enough but everyone's different.

OK... i babysit 2 boys... 5 and 8 years old.. they are crazy!!!! and when i tell them sumthing, they just ignore me and keep on doing whatever they r doing... how do i get these kids to listen to me!?!?

make it a point to them that you're the boss. don't yell but get to their level and talk to them. maybe you couldn't make a time out area. not for bad behavior but just to calm down.
i babysit triplet boys who are 2 so i know what a handful kids can be.

okay so tomorow im going to this girls house, we have liked eachother for 3 yrs and are going out, i am gonna get there at like early in the morning while she is still asleep, i was going to make her breakfast in bed but she doesnt realy eat breakfast cuz she has a weak stomach. I'm on the cusp of girls sizes and junior sizes. The thing is, I don't like any of the girls styles anymore. I love the stuff at american eagle but I just can't fit into it. I can't even wear abercrombie jeans becaus I have a large butt and a small waist so the waist is always big and the butt fits. What do I do?? Everytime i shave my legs it hurts because of my razor bumps or burns whatever they're called. How do i get rid of razor burns because everytime i look at my legs i see little red dots where my hair would grow in. So is there anything i can buy or do to make my razor marks/burns/bumps go away? hey i just got my upper ear (cartilege ?) periced a few days ago. the question i had is its still hurting and its very swollen is this normail?? if so how long will it last. i have the bactin spray and its not infected or anything its just healing i guess. is there anything i can do to make the swelling go down and to ease the pain??? thanks (link)

I really really like my best guy friend. And if I ever lost him, I would feel like dieing. He likes me too. But I'm afraid that if we end up dating and breaking up, we won't be like we are now anymore. All of my ex's I barely talked to after we broke up. No matter who broke up with who. And one of my ex's and I who now hate each other, used to be really close. So if you even understand this sinse it's kind of confusing. Can someone out there please give me advice on what to do?
Ps- Don't tell me to forget about him-because I think about him all the time.

for me going out w/ my best guy friend was the worst thing that ever happened to me. ok now im gonna tell u my story. we were in 6th grade and we both knew we liked one another so he asked me out to a dance. well the date was horrible but anyway during school people were asking me if we were going out and i said well what does he(J.R.) say and everybody said that JR said i was his girlfriend. i was thrilled b/c he was my kindergarten crush. so we went to dinner and movies together and we hung out then one day totally unexpectedly he breaks up with me. then on the same day i got an invitation to his surprise party. so i went. blah blah blah. now three years have passed and i just got the confidence to have a normal conversation with him and when i do i find out from my friends that he didn't think that we were going out and that it was just a date. i have ruined my relationship with him and i regret every moment of it. now for my advice. keep your relationship just a crush and even tell him that you don't want to ruin your relationship with love.

I swear I'm not trying to brag, I'm 13 and only like 70 pounds, I sit in front of my computer all day, I eat a bunch of crap food, I go to McDonalds all the time, but you can still see my spine through the front. How can I gain weight? I rate high usually, but smartass answers will just result in me asking "Why do you suck so much?" as one of those personal questions. (link)

i'm pretty much the same way except i'm 96 lbs which is really low compared to girls the same height and age as me who are 120lbs. i did gain 10lbs. last year which got me to the weight i'm at now but now i can't get over this weight. one thing that i've seen that helps is smoothies. even if you find a low fat recipe you can still make it fattening if you use regular ingredients instead of the low fat ones. try a lot of pasta too.

okay so my vaginal opening isn't big enough to put in a tampon. i've tried so many times, i got my period 2 1/2 years ago...i'm 16 and i cannot insert a tampon, i can see the whole but its like as big as like the bottom of a pen..what should i do? i'm thinking about going to a gynecoligist but omg i hate the doctor. i'll rate high. my best friends name is cara and we`ve been friends since 7th grade we are in 10th now. my boyfriends name is scott. we all went to the mall when they met and she was flirtin with him and stuff. when my dad picked us up to drive her home and scott was coming back to my house, cara was putting her hand on the seat kinda near his hand and scott told me he thought she was trying to hold his hand. whenever im with her she always tells em how happy she is that im happy and with a ncie boy that loves me and i care about. she was tellin me to have scott to her house along with our other friends brittney, and tim. caras "crush" was supposed to go but he didnt end up coming. last night we were all sitting outback of her house and had a fire and when i got up from the picnic table i guess she tried to kiss scott?! and he thought it was me and he almost did then he was like what the hell are you doing? and she was like i had to tell u sumthin but now i forget.. the whole time we were sort of drinking but cara seriously did not drink alot, there is a big difference between a little buzz and being trashed. its so annoying and she flirts with him so much and i just hated how she hugged him when we were leaving.. what can i say??? thankss (link)

don't have cara and your bf around each other. if you're going to have a party or something then just explain to your bf that it's a girl party and you don't want cara hitting on you so he shouldn't come. then have another time when it's just you and him to make up for time lost.

I know this might not sound like that big of a deal but it is for me!
Well my mom and me have been fighting a lot lately..........almost like every day. But its never my fault like i would say " Mom there's no more laundry detergent." the she would blow up and say " Of course we dont because you have to use so much" and then she would start yelling at me bacause i ask for so much stuff and that she has no money to spend and i hate! i had the same problem and it was about really stupid stuff too. my mom is usually broke and always complains about it. i finally talked to her and now she tries to avoid talking to me about her problems. some time when you and your mom are calm and not fighting just talk to her and tell her what you said when you are screaming at her just without the screaming. and just forget about everything when you're at school.

My 16 year old female best friend is dating my 17 year old male cousin who just moved in with her because of family problems! I am okay with all of this but I am not okay with the fact that they have been having sex for over a year now. The problem is she hasn't had her monthly since May, but she hasn't been sick or anything. Is it true that having a lot of sex can mess up your monthly? Also: should we buy a test to see if she is pregnant or tell her parents before we do that?
