I'm on the cusp of girls sizes and junior sizes. The thing is, I don't like any of the girls styles anymore. I love the stuff at american eagle but I just can't fit into it. I can't even wear abercrombie jeans becaus I have a large butt and a small waist so the waist is always big and the butt fits. What do I do?? I found a pair of really nice tractor pants at Bloomingdales, but thats just ONE pair!!!
Shortcake22 answered Thursday August 11 2005, 5:19 pm: You can wear belts for the waist. You can have the waist tailored. If you know someone thats good at sewing, such as your mom, grandma, or even a friends mom or grandma, then ask if they could somehow take in the waist or something like that. You should also look around online for jeans. A lot of websites have more sizes then stores do, and they will usually have the measurements that way you will know if they will fit or not. devilspawn_666 answered Wednesday August 10 2005, 9:13 pm: Some of the higher end brands of jeans have jeans that fit people who aren't shaped like sticks. Brands like Blue Asphalt (from Wet Seal), DKNY, Tommy Hilfiger, and Silver are some of the best ones I've found so far. I'm not exactly as tiny as you are, but I've got the same problem. You might have to pay more for these brands, but they're made better and they'll probably fit a lot better. Another brand that's pretty good about the way they fit is Glo. These are fairly inexpensive (around 25-30 dollars) and you can get them at placese like JcPenny and Kohls. [ devilspawn_666's advice column | Ask devilspawn_666 A Question ]

beachhun101 answered Wednesday August 10 2005, 7:47 pm: i have the same problem-tiny waist, lets just say a good sized butt. if the pants are big but i like em i just wear a belt to tighten the waist. or i do is get taht size and shrink em a lil bit, but then stretch out the legs so they fit perfectly. if your desperate go to a tailor and get them fixed. i found one good pair at abercrombie and i wear them a lot. the rest i got from nordstroms (i reccommend), or american eagle-but didnt fit to well. hope this helps! VixenDark answered Wednesday August 10 2005, 6:50 pm: Hmm...
This may sound odd, but try a store that sells black or latina clothing styles. They are usually made for bigger hips and butts. ^^
xomegaroni answered Wednesday August 10 2005, 6:32 pm: if i were you i'd try wet seal. some of there stuffs cute. either that or weathervane. i love american eagle jeans and the sizes run big and they arent like tight er anything. plus like clothing at wet seal and weathervane isnt anything fancy. just plain and comfortable, pretty cool looking. if not try stores like jc penny er macys. hollister jeans suck so dont try there. maybe aero? new york and company is good too.
