My vagina isn't big enough for a tampon
okay so my vaginal opening isn't big enough to put in a tampon. i've tried so many times, i got my period 2 1/2 years ago...i'm 16 and i cannot insert a tampon, i can see the whole but its like as big as like the bottom of a pen..what should i do? i'm thinking about going to a gynecoligist but omg i hate the doctor. i'll rate high.

okay in my opinion, ANY ONE can use a tampon. but of course if your a virgin, its gonna be harder the first time. So yeah, the smallest ones i`ve ever seen where the O.B. silk wrap things. the pink one. They're really small, my little sister used to use them. IF you sit down when you do it, it makes it easier. And if you do it when you dont have your period, then it def wont stay. but i dont know because i`ve never had that problem, so maybe theyre are those ppl who cant, i dont know.. srry

If your vaginal opening is only the size of a pen then you need to see a doctor. Not to be graphic but your clitoris has a tiny hole in it...urine comes out there. If that is where you are trying to put the tampon then try the next opening. Sorry if this isn't what you are doing...its the only thing I can think of. :)

ok first of all. get playtex slim fit regular. put vasaline on it just to slide it in better for the first time. make sure your getting the circular kind. use your fingers to make the space wider of your vaginal opening. then when standing insert the tampon in. if it dosnt work keep trying i had the same problem. ** REMINDER always wash hands before doing

To put a tampon in comfortabley do almost a strattle (Like a split, that gymnists do, but horizontal.)

you need to stretch it out..maybe try easing a finger in and out until you can loosen it up a bit then you should be able to slide that tampon in there. Plus how are you going to have sex if your vagina is so small. and do you mean like the part of the pen that you write with????
because if its that small then you should go to the gyno.

I am EXACTLY the same as you. I just gave up. You're not really going to lose much whether you use tampons or pads; I take swimming lessons and I look at it this way, at least I get to skip once a month. =]

You really shouldn't use a tampon before you have sex. See when you have sex the dick will strech the skin(pop the cherry too) and it will become loose. Then you'll be able to us a tampon. Some people do use them before they have sex though but maybe you should wait sence its so small. Hope i helped.
