First off that's my special man friend with me way back from high school, and been dating now for almost four years now. Yeah he's pretty spectacular, and I love him to pieces, and that's all I have to say about that. I'm a full time college student and working on my gen ed, but I would like to get my bachelor's in gerontology and eventually get my nursing license. I recently came across your advice columns, and within a few minutes, they already started uplifting me!

I have butt acne. I haven't had anything even like this before, it just started a year ago. I rarely even get a pimple on my face! (Lucky me, right?) I know I should probably see a dermatologist about this, but I can't afford one on my college student budget. I've approached my parents about seeing a doctor or a dentist on past occasions, and they blow me off entirely because they don't think it's worth spending the money if it's not life threatening, like when I wanted birth control, or when my throat was extremely sore, or when I noticed my wisdom teeth were growing in. If I tell them I have body acne, they're just going to give me a hard time and tell me they spend enough money on me already as they have told me on the past instances provided. I've browsed the over-the-counter market and tried everything under 50 bucks. I've heard great things about the zeno that burns off zits, but I just can't afford that either. It's extremely embarrassing. What should I do!?

Well, any kind of acne is not that big of a deal. I have a bad case of acne on my back.I suggest something like Nature's Cure. Its a pill system and a topical treatment. It works pretty good and its an over the counter treatment. Its pretty cheap to. Only like I think about maybe 30 bucks at the most. I used it and it helped a lot. Even the birth control pill will help a lot. Dont expect immediate results with anything you use. At least give any kind of treatment you use 2 weeks until you give up on it. Any kind of treatment that will work on your face will work on your behind. Just you have to let your but breath when you put any kind of cream on it. Just lay down like on a couch on your stomach and wait until the cream you are using dries. Do this for about two weeks and you should start seeing results. Also wear baggier pants so sweat doesn't attract so easily. That could help to.

okay i asked a question about whitening teethe and i heard about baking soda and salt. then my mom said she doesnt know why need salt its just baking soda. does it make a differentce? and if i swallow or taste baking soda will it like make me sick

Yeah your mom is right about how baking soda is salt. The reason they said baking soda would whiten your teeth is because, its an ingredient in tooth paste. No. It wont make you sick. If your still wondering how to whiten your teeth, just use a better brand of tooth paste and make sure you floss and use mouthwash.

Yeah. I hate dresses!! I suggest you should maybe wear like a cute tube top and a cute pair of jeans. Anything like that would be adorable. Maybe fix your hair up really cute like curl it. You could even wear like a cute camisole with a cute pair of dress pants or something like that. Ask your friends what there wearing to get some more ideas. You should maybe get more info about the party to see how dressy it is.

You can't really make your hair thicker, but you can make it appear thicker. Keep it in one layer and not more than one. People think that having layers make your hair look thicker but it doesn't. Try the volumizing shampoo like Dove. You could also try Spray Gel like Garnie.

18 is the legal age to move out of your parents house. If you want to move out earlier, get emancipated. All you have to do is get your parents to sign for it and find a judge to do it. Usually you have to have a full time job or be pregnant. In different states, they change the age. Where I live, in Missouri, you can move out when your 17.

i want to loose weight what is the best diet?

It depends on how much weight you want to lose. I wouldn't suggest on going on one of those crash diets. Those will only help you lose weight temporarily and you'll gain it all back. Maybe more. Believe me. I know what I'm talking about. I suggest something like the Atkins if you want to lose weight fast. The Atkins is when you dont eat carbs like bread or fruit of any kind. You can still have eggs and steak or even hamburger. If you want to try something healthier try the South Beach.

i have a problem with my cat. she will use her box but only when im at home or when im in my room where her box is at. any other time she will pee on everything and anything. i dont know how to get her to stop peeing on everything. should i buy another litter box to put downstairs? i need some help!!

For one you should get the box out of your room. Then I would suggest putting the box like in a basement or a bathroom. You should really keep your room picked up as well. Make sure you keep everything up in your room, if you must have a litter box in your room. Also make sure you keep the litter box clean. If you need anymore help with your cat just ask.

No. I didn't think that at all. Your just curious and a lot of people are curious about that kind of stuff. But yeah. To give someone a hickey you suck their neck. A hickey is blood that comes to the surface and it can look like a bruise. And no its not biting. It's all about sucking.

Yeah. I know exactly what you mean. Voice lessons are very expensive. If your school has a choir than maybe you could join. A lot of churches have choirs. Even if your not joining the faith of the church, its a good way to learn how to sing better. Just remember. You still want to have your own voice. You don't want to sound like everyone else. I'm a musician, and I know my voice really isn't that great either. So yeah. Just keep all this in mind.

15/F I want more than anything to improve my singing. Although, a voice coach isn't an option (they cost around fifty dollars an hour, which is too expensive) I'm looking for another way to sing better. There are so many videos out, but It's too risky to choose without some opinions from those reading this. I have one of the "Dummies" books for singing, yet I never follow through with learning any of the content because I feel like I need guidance from an actual person. What should I do?

Yeah. I know what you mean. I had the same problem. What I did was join the choir at school. Or just sing along to your favorite songs. A lot of time churches have choirs too. See what you can do with that. But no. I dont think you can actually learn somehing like singing from a book.

If you like him, and he likes you, go for it. If you really care for him, forget what your friends think. If they are your true friends, they won't really care about who you date, as long as he is nice to you. And who cares if he has heart problems and has a heart monitor. Hell, I went out with a guy that had hearing aids and could barely speak. I think you should be positive you like him first. Sometimes, I thought I liked a guy, and once I started dating him, I didn't like him anymore. You should hang out with him first. Maybe have him come over to your house to chill out on the couch or whatever. Because believe me, from what I hear about this guy he sounds like a total sweet heart, and I dont think you want to brea his heart

what is ADD attention defesit dissorder

I have it so I know what it is. Its when some one has trouble concentrating on some one talking, like in school. It's also when some one has hyper active problems. A lot of people with a ADD are very intelligent. As long as you take medication for it, you'll be ok.

Believe me. This is totally normal. Everyone has felt this way. I have the same problem but its gotten a lot better. I think you should take a hobby. Anything is good. I took up the guitar and that helps me a lot. I write a lot of songs. I use to be so deppressed, I use to cut. I don't do that anymore though. So yeah, I know what I'm talking about. Depression may run in your family like it does mine. I think you should maybe join a church group or something like 4-H. If your busy, you wont have time to be depressed. Don't worry. If you don't have many friends now, you will. Just remember, dont pretend to be something your not. People should love you for you

If a guy like you, you can usually tell because they will go out of there way to get your attention. They will flirt with you and do that by, maybe playfully pushing you or calling you silly names. Also a guy that likes you will smile at you a lot and maybe ask how your day was.Also he will look at you a lot and want to spend a lot of time with you. Maybe he'll sit next to you in class or someething. There is a lot of ways you can tell if a guy likes you. If none of these happen, talk to your friends and find out how they can tell guys like them. All guys are different. Some may be to shy to try anything, even though they may like you a lot. But believe me, if a guy likes you a lot, you will be able to tell.
