We don't change the size of your picture unless it's shown on the main page. On your column, the size of your picture is the size that the file is. Upload a bigger picture if you want a bigger one.

We can't monitor every account and set up satellite surveillance to make sure everyone's picture is actually of them. You'll just have to relax about it.

It bugs us when people use public questions to for non-advice questions, but what happens with private questions isn't really all that big a deal.

I will be complaining until i get a good appology, and i will ask the advicenators, cuz alls i put was the abbreviation for 'i don't know' which are just I D and K but apperantly you think it is gross. Q: I'm just wondering why every columnist is not listed. The list in each separate group only goes as far as page 3, and then there are no more. I know there have to be more columnists than that.
And can't there be an option to sort them by alphabetical order? I'm looking for a certain person, but can't find them anywhere.

We cut them off to save system resources - I didn't think any one person would need to see a list of more than 50 columnists at a time.
I think a search feature would best suit needs like yours. I'll start working on one, because I see a definite need.

This advice column is for suggestions, comments, or error reporting about advicenators. If you'd like to suggest a new category, ask me a question. If you'd like to whine, bitch, or complain about advicenators, you may whine, bitch, or complain to me.
Three rules though:
1) Do not ask me for life advice. We have several thousand other members that do that.
2) Do not ask for help, or ask how to do something, or ask about
how something on the site works, unless you've read every word of our help pages and you're sure it's not addressed there.
3) Do not ask me to ban someone or investigate abuse. We have an entire abuse system set up for that.
If you disobey one of these rules, I'll delete your question.
Some guidelines about suggestions:
If you offer a suggestion that I find interesting, I might just ignore your question so it stays in my inbox as a reminder of something to do. Don't be upset that I don't answer you, and don't delete your questions (because then I'll forget!)
If you have three suggestions, please ask three separate questions, that way I can address each one individually. It's a real pain when people ask one question with like twenty different topics in it; I can't keep them straight.
