I've been playing piano for a good number of years, but not as seriously as I would have liked. I'm 17 now, and really want to get better at piano but am not sure what to look for instructional-wise. While I've played the trumpet, I've never learned to read any music but the treble clef and am having a real hard time with it. I mainly just make up my own chords and get down and dirty banging on my piano. I love jazz, blues, classic rock - and I thought it'd help a lot more to get some sheetmusic of classic rock songs I already know. Anyone know of some good piano sheetmusic I can get my hands on?

I've also really started to get interested in bass guitar. I think it's awesome. I love many a song with a kick ass base line, and I want to learn more. I've mingled with the guitar slightly, It's basically a rearranged piano in my opinion, but had trouble with getting into it. It doesn't quite seem like the bass needs the same approach as a guitar does, though. My boyfriend has an old bass I could borrow. Anyone have tips?

Well, I'm really good with guys when we're not going out. I can think of anything really quick to make them laugh and to have a good conversation. But when we start dating I freeze up. i even try to pretend that I'm not dating him and he's just my friend so I can act like I was before. But i get so speechless! its like i dont want to say anything stupid or embarassing..

1. you cut the length to about your knees
2. cut the seams on the inside of the legs
3. sew the fronts together,then the backs
4. if you want the skirt shorter, put it on, get a marker and mark where you want to cut

you should delete everything. do not meet him! he could be lying and be older and that might not be him in the pix...well him maybe at a younger age...and dont go with him to "where he lives"...he could abduct you...and they wouldn't allow him to bring somebody back on his senior trip!(if he's going with school)...good luck with your decision. just make the right choice. think about it and take your time...and you might want to tell him your real age and if you have alot in common...he could be tapping into your e-mail...good luck

I have dark arm hair and I want to get rid of it b4 school starts(August 16)So plz does anyone know any ways to make my arm hair lighter like blonde? And do you know any ways to do it without going out and buying kits? Like is there anything at home I can use that you know will work? Does ne1 know how to make razor burn go away... i have been shavin since i was leik 8 and i just started to get razor burn really bad on my legs everytitme i shave it started liek a month ago...and i use shaving cream, new razor and everything but idk ive tried everything and it hurts, burns and itches so0o0o bad!! i shave my arms and other places to but i dont get razor burn at all just my legs!! ive tried everything water, ice, dry shaving, shavin with every razor and shavin cream there is, razorless shavin, intution, hair conditionar, soap, shampoo, baby soap, everything... guys aftershave girls aftershave...everyhting... can ne1 help me on this... liek how to make it stop or wat to use leika razor or sumn!! 1. NEVER dry shave. dry shaving gives you razor burn.
2. ALWAYS use lotion on your legs after shaving. it keeps from getting little bumps and razor burn.
3. ALWAYS wash your legs w/ body wash after shaving(shave first)

ok, well, before i go to school i want to look really good for the first day, and im scared because lately i have been gettin pimples on my face (not for the first time) and i want to know if anybody has any tips on how to clear your face, or products that work over night (and actually work) plz tell me!

hey,it's ok every1 gets pimples. i use oil free acne wash cream cleanser from neutrogena. after i wash my face w/ that @ night,if i have a pimple,i put a dab of clean and clear advantage acne spot treatment(it comes in a little tube).
if you buy both of those,wash your face in the morning before school and at night right before bed. i do that and i only get 3 or less pimples a month and i used to get alott.hope i helped and good luck,

no, you should not try smoking. it's so bad for your body and it's really addictive! it can make you look old and all the money you have you will waste on buying cigarettes...your teeth may turn yellow and you could devolop asthma. if you already have asthma it could give you an asthma attack. it could also stunt your growth. pleez dont smoke! hope i helped

im 12 yrs old i dont know anyone who has had sex (well people my age and a couple yars older) but when i read some of these problems on advicenators most of the people are like 13 or 14 and say that they have sex a lot its kind of creepy my sisters 14 but she hasnt had sex im wondering if these people are either lying about their age or more mature than me. i feel like when im 13 or 14 that il be soo pressured into sex and stuff. i hear these unbelievable stories of guys and girls having sex since they were 12. its so perverted and i mean is it weird im not ready or as into it as other people are?

you're only 12 years old,you aren't supposed to be ready yet. wait til your at least 14. 14 at the earliest. maybe even wait til 15 or 16. and the guys and girls you've heard about having sex since age 12, well that's their decision and they probably regret it. if u feel pressured, just say no. if you say it straight out, ppl will respect you and your decision. and if it's sex, tell them you aren't ready.

don't do either. you don't want to interfere in their friendship no matter what. if your bf's friend is making u feel uncomfortable, tell him to stop. then if he duznt stop, get up and walk away and start talking to sumbody else.
