The name is Leah. I live in Cincinnati, OH. I really love to give advice! I have been here since November of 2004. But prior to joining here, I was always been seeked for advice. Still to this day, my primary concern is always helping someone out in need.

I am likely not the best columnist here, but I can quarantee I am very dedicated and concerned when I answer a question. If I answer a question you're not satisfied with, I will ask why, so I can try my best to change my answer. I only give people information that I know; not information that I might know. And if I notice a columnist giving you a wrong answer, you'll know I'll be correcting their response!!

I do allow everyone and anyone to ask a question. I may have listed favorite categories, but I really have no preference. I do love making new friends!! It's no problem to contact me by e-mail or IM. On my upstairs computer, it won't let me log into Myspace via Mozilla Firfox. It just loads up the "You have to sign in to do that!" page.

It could be either certain browsers do not support certain websites or.. it could be cookies that are keeping you from getting on your home page. Try going to internet options and click on delete cookies. Next, click on the tab security and drag the little tab down to the level "low". Then try it again.

(On your internet browser, select Tools --> Security)

If it's not working, it's probably Firefox, try using Internet Explorer if you can.

My friend is not really bipolar, but she acts like it. One day she will be nice and funny to me and everything will be good then a few days later she acts totally different like doesnt talk to me as much and stuff this happens alot What should I do?

Try to accept it. I had friends who were bipolar and it drove me crazy!! She was hooked on Prozac a lot which helped somewhat but not often. But try talking to her because she may have personal problems of her own that could be the answer to her behavior. Talk to her what's going on and if she is being bothered by anything. Don't ever ignore her when she begins to be randomly upset or sad. Support her all you can, and just try seeing if she is really OK.

How do I change my myspace URL. I know it says you can't do it, but it can be done. I know a girl who did it, but she won't tell anyone how. It sucks, and I really want to know.

You can go to shorturl.com to change the link of your website. However, on that site you can't just change the extension name, but rather on shorturl you have the option to choose the name of the link, and the subdomain name. For instance: www.mymyspace1234(your title).vze(ext).net/org/com, etc.

Sorry if it seems confusing, but once you go on the website you'll instantly figure it out.

What is up with these 13 yr olds and getting pregnant/asking for advice about fingering and sexual things like that. wtf is our world coming too.When I was 13 I was still playing coodies with the guys next door or riding my bike around the neighborhood. Yeah, I agree. I feel that people whom are getting pregnant are just getting younger. Heck, I always see 12-year olds running around getting pregnant like it's some disease. And what really makes me mad is when they think it's all cool to do it. I don't know if it's some issue that came from media, or they just do it because they feel like it? I don't know. But it's getting pathetic, yes. A lot of Girls are just letting themselves go these days. And I'm a girl myself so I am not trying to be sexist in any way. I just think it's the truth.

Yes! Very easy to do, I did it on my profile. You can go to eatrack.com (http://www.eatcrack.com/index.php?page=html&code=hide) And customize the code to just hide your friends list.

Put it in your profile. Next, link your friends page to wherever you want it. And if you don't know how I'll give you step-by-step instructions:

1)Click on the "View friends" link either on your homepage or your public view profile. Then copy the link.

2) Use this link code < a href = "LINK" > text here < / a > (exclude spaces!!!)

3) Fill the empty parts on the code.

4) Then put the link wherever you want it at.

It's completely normal because a lot of people get into that in their teenage years (if you are a teen)

It does not mean your sexual orientation will change. Usually it's just a phase most people go through.

All it is, is that you are getting curious with your body, and you're starting to get sex drives. Just like how guys get it during their teenage years. It's nothing to be ashamed of. So don't worry about it =)

what is a really good concealer either stick or liquid? i just want one that works well, doesnt make my face look oily, that is oilfree and is very cheap and can get at the drugstore? thanks a lot for your help

I have a big oil problem on my skin too. But what helps reduce the oil, and makes it natural at the same time is Neutrogena Visibly even liquid makeup.

But, when you are on-the-go or experiencing oil problems, get a concealer to reduce shine from oil. That's what I do, and it keeps my face looking almost flawless the whole day. But I use the liquid makeup whenever I want it to last long on my face.

The liquid makeup can run as cheap as three dollars, and concealer as cheap as five. I like to stay cheap with makeup too, but I like it effective. And Neutrogena is what works for me!

When I started playing field hockey, I had to take our my earrings. So for field hockey season (about 2 months) I probably only wore earring for about a totaly of 4 days.

Now, it's over, and I've started wearing earrings again. I JUST took them out, and my ears hurt so much! They are red, and I KNOW that they are infected badly!

Does anybody know any thing I can do to make this better? I need all the advice I can get!! (Home remedies would be so nice :)

You can use a sterilizer, like rubbing alcohol to treat and reduce infection, or hydrogen peroxide, which is not a sterilzier, but it does treat infections.

And if you have any ear cleaners, use that, because that would help so effectively!

But if not, stick to rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide by applying it when needed or a few times a day.

No, it does not increase your risk of getting pregnant. In fact it lowers it, however you are still at risk and pregnancy can still happen.

And as a note, if you are planning on having sex on your period, (or if already have), make sure you clean yourself before and after intercourse and your partner to do the same as well to prevent from infection.

ok this is very embarrassing but my class has just is starting another health unit. Last we we learned the same thing and had a test and I, of course, failed miserabaly and STILL do not know where the vagina is! I was going to ask the teacher but I felt embarrased. There could be any holes! Is it the hole where pee comes out? Is it where they take a S***? or is there a third hole? =S Please answer if you're a girl since I want to know from a person that actually knows since girls have it and not boys.

At first that seemed confusing to me as well. My first time learning about the Vagina and where it was kind of puzzled me. But after awhile I learned where it was and it's not exactly where you pee at, the advice columnist below is wrong, however, there's an extremely small hole where you pee right above the vagina, so it's just a little lower than that 'pee hole'. And you have a different hole to [technically] discharge other waste in your buttocks. And what the advice columnist was right about, was it can be hard to ask about something like that, and there are many websites and books you can read. The one website I recommend is www.teenhealth.com. They give explanations and pictures about guys' genitals, and girls.'s.

hi, well all the files, on my computer have gone. all the music, my work , everything! ive tried everything to get them back, including searching for them throughout my computer. can anyone help me? thanks in advance

the only three ways i know is that one it could be all on a different drive. would your data be in on Drive C? Drive D? Maybe F? Try going to those drives and search.

Another way I know is to find a backup disk. Some computers have backup features, and some you have to save backup yourself.

Or.. Go to Start --> All Programs --> System Recovery, and that may get your files back.

If you don't have that feature, try finding a backup disk.

how can you get eyeliner (on the BOTTOM lid) to stay on all day? it basically dissapears halfway through the day,

any kind of water-proof eyeliner, especially the liquid eyeliner pretty much stays on all day and it does not smear or fade, unless your rinse your eyes thoroughly with water to get it out.

it seems to be that either if i wear a bra or don't wear a bra that my boobs always look...well...pointy! it looks really weird and i don't think they are supposed to look like that...ummm...can anyone tell me why this would be?

Usually bras that have no padding make my boobs a little pointy-looking. So you should get a sports bra which flatten them a bit, or if you don't want to go that way (which most girls don't..) you can get a bra that's more rounded and has a little padding in it, which gives a natural look.

have you noticed how slow it is on here? like..those questions have been up for the past 3 hours the SAME ones..and i asked one like 2 hours ago and its still not up..why is it like that?

Primarily because they do the "question approval" for every time you send a question. Just so you are not asking the Frequently Asked Questions, or if you are saying something innapropriately. And they give a few hours for it at the maximum.


And they also tell you that after you send a question and that page comes up telling you that, and it's the same page that gives you the link to your question and the option to add more information unto it.

I tried to sign into aim and it said it was blocked or something like that. It says that i have to reactivate my acount or something and im not sure how i do that. I really need to read my mail from aim because there is something important on there. And i tried the I forgot my password thing but that doesnt work. It will let me sign in all my other aim screen names. Can anyone help me?

A few ways that I know of that may help is to try contacting AIM first of all. Since your question isn't in the AIM's FAQs, you'll need to specifically ask them how to solve the problem.

The #1 thing you could do is: GO TO My AIM --> EDIT OPTIONS --> CONFIRM ACCOUNT.

If this does not help, what I would do is (if at all possible) is to log on AIM on AIM.com not the AIM messenger. If they still decline it from the website (or if you already tried), try a couple of these:

1) If your S/N or AIM e-mail address is linked on the messenger, try locating your S/N stats MY AIM --> Set Screenames. It should give the information on what screenames are valid (at least they should)

2) When you do try logging on your E-mail account, do they give you the link to reactivate account? Or to give you other helpful suggestions to let you through your e-mail account?

3) Usually when you register your S/N for the first time, theyask you for an alternate e-mail address. Check the account of the address you put. Usually they automatically e-mail you your "screename confirmation" and you click on a link to confirm your s/n.

4)Try changing your AIM settings. (Setup --> Preferences) and check your login/logout settings, along with your connection settings because it may have something to do with that.

5) (Less likely) but.. someone could of got into your account and unregistered your account. And you can report than on the AIM website, if you bring suspicion to it

If all fails, you will either need to wait for assistance from AIM, try to get any kind of account information (like what e-mail address you used if you forgot, or your screename, password, etc).

Does anyone know that if a cellphone that fell in the bathtub can be repaired? Or is it gone for good?

This happened to me more than you know..

In most cases it can be easily fixed. But it does depends how much and how long the cell phone was submerged into the water.

Since it went into the bathtub, all you need to do is to take out all the removable parts of the phone. Like the faceplate cover(s) and the battery as well. SIM card, too [if you have one]. The average time it takes is a few hours. From my experience I took a fan and faced it towards the phone on a flat surface and dried the water out within a day.

However DO NOT put a blowdryer to it, or any other electrical drying objects (fans are OK), which can cause damage from over-heating and can possibly explode.

The most time you want to wait is a few days like what the person below said. If your phone still shows damage from water, you will probably have to contact your service provider or cell phone manufacterer (like Nokia, Motorola, etc).

But know in most cases it can be easily fixed by yourself.

I wouldn't say I have an acne-prone face, but the zits & pimples I get still bother me. They usually pop up the week after my period ends. By they, I mean 2-6 of them. For some reason they all form on my nose or on the skin right around my nose (including my cheeks a little bit).

Another skin issue I have is shine. Even when my face is zit free, the same problem as before is affected. It doesn't feel or look greasy. It is just....shiny. It bothers me so bad and my friends jokingly tease me about it all the time.

What are some products I can buy or lifestyle changes I can make to decrease or get rid of both of these problems? Thanks in advance!

For the pimple problem I highly suggest using products such as Benzol Peroxide, Salicylic Acid, and Triclosan. To reduce that shine you can use Clean&Clear Face sheets, which get out oil (which you don't have, but..) it reduces the shine, as well. And from personal use it really does work.

If you really want it gone for life, there are plastic surgical procedures to get it off permanently. but it costs thousands of dollars for it.

So to do it inexpensively, use anti-shine products and acne products which can be as low as two bucks a product.

You can go either way you want, but a few wise suggestions that you can try is to shave it gently and slowly. Then afterwards apply aloe vera.

If you want fast results (but however painful) get it waxed but put aloe vera on it.

Aloe vera is the same gel you use to treat sunburn so you can find it in the cosmetics/body care aisle at the store. The aloe can soothe, cool, and relieve the skin from itching, rashes, and other pains.

Just be careful and for best results try to shave it as less often as you can. Doing it daily or fairly often can cause unbearable inflammation pains and redness. Trust me. So keep it easy, because that's the best way to go when you are doing it for the first time.

I don't have much knowledge into getting into Myspace with it being blocked in schools now, but I know there are a certain proxy or proxies you can download to hack into the firewall system. Although it's hard, and the school administration can find and block the proxy if found on the school server. However I do not know how to get the proxy, so you may need to google it, or get a safe software program to go through the school's firewall. But if you do find a proxy be extremely careful because schools actually watch what you do on the internet. They record your history and downloads, and some schools forbid students to download anyway. So take extreme caution.
