ok well i was wondering if you have sex while your on you period if the chances of getting pregnant are greater than when your not on it.

When you're on your period, the chances of getting pregnant are lower than you having sex while not on your period. However, I wouldn't suggest having sex while on your period, it can get a bit messy. But if that is what you want to do, I'd put down a towel just so you won't have much to clean up afterwards and it won't get everywhere. Also, be sure to clean 'down there' good, if you have sex while on your period. You don't want to get an infection or give one to your partner.

No, it does not increase your risk of getting pregnant. In fact it lowers it, however you are still at risk and pregnancy can still happen.
And as a note, if you are planning on having sex on your period, (or if already have), make sure you clean yourself before and after intercourse and your partner to do the same as well to prevent from infection.
