everything gone!

hi, well all the files, on my computer have gone. all the music, my work , everything! ive tried everything to get them back, including searching for them throughout my computer. can anyone help me? thanks in advance

try the recycling bin
if a file is there you can restore it
other than that just do what the person underneath me said

the only three ways i know is that one it could be all on a different drive. would your data be in on Drive C? Drive D? Maybe F? Try going to those drives and search.

Another way I know is to find a backup disk. Some computers have backup features, and some you have to save backup yourself.

Or.. Go to Start --> All Programs --> System Recovery, and that may get your files back.

If you don't have that feature, try finding a backup disk.
