Here are some things about me.

A lot of people judge me on what they see but never really know whats going on. I'm not close to perfect and I'm not afraid to show it. So many things have happened to me that it seems surreal sometimes. But now I'm finally happy with myself and my life. So haters keep hating because I realized how blessed I truely am.

My bestfriend has a ton of guy friends. Sometimes I feel left out of all their conversations and dont know how to get in the conversation too. I have some guy friends but I always end up liking them for more that a friend and then i get to nervose around them so I only talk to them online...not in person...any tips?

You don't have to do any research or anything extreme to have guy friends. I have plenty of them and I do none of that. You simply have to BE YOURSELF. Its almost like talking to one of your girl friends except you cut out things like your period, what outfit you are going to wear tomorrow, which lip gloss is better, etc. They like to know that you are being real with them. So don't try to act like someone you're not. Because just like girls they can usually tell when you are not being yourself.

I have a pimple close to my lip (it's not a cold sore) I've been using proactive on it but it's not going away (it's been like, 2 weeks.) How can I get rid of it?

The best way to get a girl back is to let her know how you feel. Be straight and upfront about the situation. Let her know that you are uncomfortable with her always flirting with that other guy and that you would rather she flirt with you. But not only should you tell her, you should also show her. Make her want you. Be a gentlemen, do more things to make her laugh, and show her that she is an important part of your life.

i have heard different things and i could use some good strong opinions (not flames, dont leave me bruised and battered) on bisexuality from a christian standpoint. i fear i may actually have to read the WHOLE Bible (LONG!) to form my own opinion to be honest. i just know alot of ppl interpret the Bible differently.

If you read in Genesis it clearly states how God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Adam or Eve and Eve. People can interpret the Bible all the ways they want to but there is only one truth and that is acting in bisexuality is a sin. Now I'm not saying that people who are bisexuals are bad because every sin is equal. Being bisexual is equal to telling a lie. Either way they are both sins.

It is pretty much impossible for me to empathize/understand people who believe in God and religion. I am fully against both of them, for a long list of reasons that I don't need to go in to. The deal is, people tell me I'm being sacreligous/a heretic/going to hell, but I can't understand where they're coming from AT ALL. To me evangelists and deeply religous people just seem like pitiful, misguided puppets of a nonexistent power. It tends to screw up my relationships with people.... Any advice?

I used to be the exact same. I thought people who were religious and everything were crazy for believing in stuff like that. But now that I have my own personal walk with God I can honestly see why they are religious. You must believe for yourself that God is real. You have to know it and believe it. Once you accept him into your heart the rest will follow. HE will speak to you.

I remember the first time I actually felt the presence of God. That was a time I will never forget. I felt like he took my hand and assured me that everything would be all right because he was watching over me. The feelings that were going through my body and my emotions I had are absolutely unexplainable. The are no words to let you know how strong it was. But you MUST experience it for yourself. Then you will know exactly what I'm talking about.

In the Bible doesn't it say that we shouldn't pray aloud to show off? That instead we should pray in the privacy of our own room? (not the exact words) If that is so then why do people go to church? I'm christain but I don't believe that going to church makes a difference in how we are seen in God's eyes. Everyone pressures me to go to church saying that it will "lead me in the right direction" but I don't think it matters if I go to church or not.

No it says nothing about not praying aloud. But it does say something about being a hypocrit. Meaning you shouldn't pray aloud, shout, etc. in church ONLY to impress others. There is nothing wrong with praying aloud. I think church does make a bit of a difference in your life. Because its nice to fellowship with people who are on the same page as you when it comes to religion or they are striving to get on that page. But I'm not saying that if you don't go to church that makes you less of a Christian, because it doesn't.

How important do you think ratings are? I have asked questions, and try to go back and rate all the answers. However, I notice that a lot of people do not give ratings. It seems like it should be a common courtesy when someone gives a detailed well thought out answer.

Also have you noticed that the ratings now show up next to the answers? I haven't found this to be true of all my answers that were rated, but at least some of them.

I think people should always give ratings. I agree with you its just common courtesy. I guess they don't realize how much it helps us give advice. When I recieve ratings I love to get feedback with it also. That helps a lot because I like to how I helped them specifically so I can continue to do it.

okay i was on this website and this guy got my aim s/n from it and we started talking. he kept askin me so many questions like what do you look like? how old you are? where i go to school at? and if i have a b/f. so i answered everything not honestly cuz i dont no if he is a stalker.lol. then he finally asked if we could meet sometime. my question is should i continue to talk to him because it seems like he wants a relationship which would mean we have to meet. and i do not want to meet with him in real life cause of all those sick people out there. so should i continue to talk to him or what do i do? will rate high. thanks!

I don't think you should continue to talk to him. Its so many crazy people in this world. I think you should also be careful about giving your information out on the internet because that can also be dangerous.

14/f...i've always been REALLY shy around anyone who isn't one of my best friends. especially around guys. even if i don't have a crush on the guy and even if i'm friends with the guy i still get nervous and i'm really shy. so i have a hard time meeting guys. im not like boyfriend obsessed or anything but i've never had a boyfriend and i'll be going into 9th grade next year. i'm just saying that it would be nice to have a boyfriend. i know i'm not fat at all i'm 5'3" and i weigh around 105 (i don't know for sure since i haven't weighed myself in a while) i just have a problem with my face. i have braces and REALLY bad teeth. like i'm actually missing a tooth (it never grew in after i lost the baby tooth and there is no tooth to grow in) and one of my teeth is like disfigured and is a peg tooth. once i get my braces off (which is in July!!!) i'm going to get surgery done and they will put in a fake tooth and fix up the peg tooth. i also have very oily skin and break out often. i'm doing what i can to help my skin and i use acne products..i'm just not that patient. so i could use some help with my confidence. what are some things to do to help boost my confidence level? because i know that guys like girls who are confident.

also i get really stagefright and i can't talk in front of the class. i blush easily too.

Look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself that you are beautiful. Everyone has features that makes them beautiful, yours may be your hair, body, etc. Find your best feature and flaunt it. If it is your eyes then put eye makeup on, if it is your bodytype then wear clothes that show off your body like shorts, tank tops, tight pants (not too tight). You have to believe for yourself that you are beautiful. Once you believe that, guys will also and they will become more attracted to you.

To overcome your stagefright you must forget about all of your worries. Don't worry if people will laugh at you or not like your performance. Just worry about getting the job done and having fun. Because no matter how hard you try you will never be able to please everyone. So just be yourself and leave your fears behind.

I'm 15 years old. I used to be popular, but ever since i switched into a private school i feel like i dont hang out as much, and when i do, its ME making the plans. I especially dont have very many guy friends any more (esp. since i now go to an all girls school). WHAT SHOULD I DO!? and how can i make new guy friends?

Since you go to an all girls school you need to go outside of school to make guy friends. Below are places I recommend.

-movies
-skating rink
-beach
-pool
-bowling alley

When you see I guy you like, you have to be courageous. Give him a little smile and wave. If he likes you too most likely he will smile and wave back, he may even come up and make conversation with you. When he makes conversation with you ask him things like what school does he go to, his age, where he lives, etc. At the end of the conversation you two can give each other you all's phone number so you all can talk again. Don't worry about rejection because that's apart of life. Its all about taking chances.

Life is full of risks. Take the risk and tell him if you like him or not. Who knows he might even like you back. If he doesn't like you then you can move on to the next guy and if he does like you then you and him may have a future. But that future won't come to past if you don't take the risk.

Okay, to make a long story short, me and my friend got into a fight with our other friend because we confronted her about blowing us off and shit because she got a new boyfriend. The whole thing was blown way out of proportion. Anyway, she forgave my friend, but not me, because I was meaner (apparently). The girl told me, "Your basically dead to me." She also told me she could never forgive me and that she didn't care what I said or did. This girl was one of my best friends. It's really hard to loose a friend, and never even get a second chance. How do I get over it? (It's definately going to be hard because we have the same group of friends.)

I have also tried having a civil conversation with her as well. She gives me a one word answer, and acts as I'm not worth her words. I'm tired of feeling like shit over this..PLEASE HELP. (btw this happened last april)

If she is willing to end you all's friendship over something that was so small then maybe she was never really a true friend. If you think about that, that should help you. Don't waste your time being said over someone's who isn't even a tru friend. Mix and mingle more. Once you make a few new friends things will come a whole lot easier for you.

Okay since it is the end of the year almost everyone has yearbooks. In his year book put a message in there saying that you like him and was wondering if he likes you to. Also give out fake money. You can get it from Wal-Mart, K-Mart, or the Dollar Store. Before people come in your house like in the drive way you should have a red carpet.
