can anybody tell me the advantages AND benefits of the following cell phone companies:
-t mobile,
-cingular, and
-verizon
i want a new cell phone, and i heard like cingular is better for family plans, and things like that

Well I've had tmobile and cingular and my dad had verizon. Out of all three cingular is deffinately the best. They have great deals and reception almost everywhere.

PLEASE whatever you do, don't get t-mobile. I have it now and I can't wait to get rid of it I'm so sick and tired of not having service anywhere exept on my boat in the middle of no where. They ask for more money for less minutes and not even rollover for some.

Verizon is ok. I know people who are happy with it. Not amazing but not the worst. Let me put it this way it wouldnt be a bad choice. My dad had it and it worked most of the time and got pretty good service. I don't know about the plans but you could easily check that out at

Every time I try to curl my hair from the bottom up with my curling iron, there is always this weird bent part at the bottom that looks very strange. What is the proper way to curl my hair, and are there any sites demonstrating how with videos or pictures? Thanks so much in advance!

Hey I know why they're there it used to happen to me too but to make them go away when you're curling it, make sure when you put you're hair in the iron so that none of the bottom shows. It gets bent because the thing that clams down ur hair is hott too so it styles the bottom bent.

Just make sure none of the bottom is showing and then just curl up.

PS. Curl away from your head.

When I rate people, I generally give all 5s, maybe a 4 or 2, and a 1 if someone is completely rude or didnt answer the question. Well..Let's say I ask a question and I get 5 answers. One of them is horrible, so it gets a 1 rating. The second is okay but kinda bad, so a 3 or 4. The next 2 answered the question and werent jerks, but the 5th wrote a 5 paragraph answer and included links to websites and personal experiences, etc. Should I rate the the 3rd and 4th people 5's like the 5th person, or should I give them fours because there was a better answer?

NOTE--Im rating all fives on this question no matter what

I think if the person gave you information you asked for they should get a five, only if it helps your problem though. If they ramble about things they shouldnt. Yes some people answers are more thorough but I think whoever you think was honestly trying to help should get a five.

my best friend likes the same guy as i do. its no fair cause i liked him first and starting talking to him first. but now she's talking to him and flirting constantly with him. she always gets the guy she wants and i dont think it is right. i dont know what to do. she knows i like him and she still does it. this isnt the first time either. she seriously my best friend and has been since 1st grade. i dont know what to do about her though. i really like this guy and im afraid that if she keeps flirting with him that he will start falling for her and i really dont want that to happen. i invited him to the movies and he said that he would get back to me on that either way. i dont know what that means. what should i do about this?

I know how you feel exept she wasnt my best friend. I liked this guy for a year and a half and then she comes in likes him for about a month and now they're going out. I was heartbroken.

Personally I think if she really likes him its not fair for you to be mad at her. People can't contol who they like they just do.

You should maybe talk to her about it and see what she has to say. Maybe she doesnt realize what its doing to you or even what shes doing.

I think you're just jealous, if he likes her back yes its going to hurt but she likes him too, people cant usually control who they like.

Now theres another issue that could be going on. All of this should be fine if she REALLY likes him. If shes trying to make you jealous and doesnt like him that much thats just wrong and you need to confront her but you have to make sure you know that she doesn't.

It's a very heartbreaking situation for you I know I've been there but just try to understand her point of view. What if you liked who she liked after she did but you truly liked him. You would want attention from him too.

I'm not trying to make you the bad guy because I deffinately know how you feel but you just have to think of what they're thinking.

Okay well I'm 13 and I'm in the 7th grade and I'm worried about my friend. Okay shes pretty much drop-dead gorgeous and could get any guy she wants. Well I mean she's not like a slut or anything (Okay she kissed her ex boyfriend(corey) 4 times he was her first kiss ... and then shes made out with her current boyfriend once. ).

Anyways she has had family problems. She has two little sisters and they get favored and her mom pretty much yells at her 24/7 and ignores her all the time.

Then recently, about 2 weeks ago, she went to her neighbors house(AJ) and Corey was there. Well Corey grabbed her and she was sitting on him ..., hes like really muscular so she couldn't get away, anyways Corey started rubbing her body and then AJ's like on top of her and hes unhooking her bra. She finally got away and ran into the bathroom and Corey comes in and he was all like awwl hilary i'm sorry for being a jerk i'll help you. So Hilary believed him and he ended up unhooking it again. This kept on happening she was there for about 2 hours.

So shes pretty tramatized from that and her mom. Well to make things worse her mom was yelling at her Tuesday night and she wasn't really paying attention because she hates being yelled at. Her dad then asked her if she was paying attention and she was like it's kinda hard not to dad when shes screaming at me. Then her dad comes over and punches her jaw(and her neck cracked).

Now Hilary is one of my bffae and I don't know what to say to her to help her or anything. Please help me on what I can do for this situation to help her out.

Ohh and we were going to call child abuse people if her dad hit her again.

I am going to my 8th grade dinner dance and its supposed to be totally formal but not like im going to the prom and im so picky and i dont want to spend too much money where should i go what should i wear?

Yea I have the same thing and everyone pretty much dressed as if they were going to a bat mitzfah, if you havent been to one its just like a nice dress, not poofy or anything just a casual dress, but not something that you would wear to school more fancy than that.

ok lately ive been getting these REALLY REALLY bad pains on my right side, right under the end of my rib cage. What could this be? could it just be cramps? I havent gotten my period for the first tim yet so could that be it? Please help...i rate high. ♥

It could very well be your period is coming but it could also be something with your apendix, but im not a doctor and im not trying to freak you out but you might want to get it checked out.

ok let me start off by saying my name is meghan and i am 14 and i am an 8th grader and i feel so embarrassed when my friends talk about their periods well the problem is that i have not started mine yet and i don't know what is wrong with me but i play soccer all year and i have no clue if that has something to do with the issue.well i am 5'0 and 125lbs. and i have "boobs" and i have hair down there and i know that this sounds weird but i will do anything just to get my period.i promised myself when i was younger i would never kiss a boy until i got my period and now i don't think i can wait that long!PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

Ok well people can get there period from when theyre 8-15 or 16 so you are still in that range. Personally I dont think soccer has to do with it bc i play soccer all year since i was 8 and got mine when i was 11. You sound like your close to getting it but trust me enjoy it while you can. Like one of the people below me said cramps every month isnt something to look foward to.

i have to read a book for english and i cant decide on what to do.

the only main requirements are that it has to be atleast 200 pages (no more than 300 please) and at our reading leve (10th grade)

my favorite book is the giver but i cannot read that because it is too short and i like books along that line.

i like more true to life kind of books with relatable characters and i dislike things like harry potter and lord of the rings

any suggestions? please if you name a book give me a little background info on it!

I strongly suggest nicholas sparks books like a walk to remember. It's about a girl with cancer who falls in love with a guy who you would never think would be together. It's sad, but you get so into you cant put it down. I dont normally like reading but this book was an exeption. It is my absolute favorite book. If you already read that try another one of his books he is an amazing writer and his stories could actually happen.

This sounds like a stupid question but is there any way to make your hair grow faster?




Get your hair trimmed regualarly, the person below me said that that doesnt make i grow faster but it does because the healthier your hair the faster it grows. Garnier Fructis also has a shampo and conditioner that makes your hair grow faster. I also read in a magazine that if you want it to grow faster you should massage your scalp when you are shampooing your hair.

What you have are shin splints, a lot of people get them when you first start running, they will go away in a matter of time but theres no real way to "soothe them" sry i know it sucks i run track too but they will go away

so a little while ago was rapped..and i missed my period..im with the most amazing guy and if i tell him i know hes going to think im crazy (it was his best friend..who rapped me) and i dont know how to tell him..and i think im pregnat.my parents will kill me because they wont think i was rapped they'll think its an excuse BUT IM NOT LIEING!.but i cant be..im only 14..just turned 14 (the day i was rapped was my 14th bday..Jan 27th)

Being raped is a HUGE deal. You have to tell an adult about it now. You should have told your parents when it first happened or your boyfriend. I think you should go talk to a guidance counsler or an adult you trust about it. Or you should tell your parents. Since raping is such a huge deal they should believe you because it isnt something to joke around about. Take a pregnancy test even if it reads not pregnant you still have to tell someone you were raped in rist of STD's or anything. If your parents stil dont believe them you should show them this question you posted. Are you a trustworthy person to them? Well all I know is that you have to tell someone really soon. A teacher guidance counsler anyone who can help talk to you. Raping is serious and not something to be taken lightly. You can press charges against him because it is highly illegal and he will be sent to jail or juvinille. Sorry this is so long but sweetie its the truth TELL SOMEONE

lol sorry about that, but i didnt say he actually liked you i said i dont knwo if that means he does. I mean it is possible he does by how he stares at you and grabs your waist but it could just mean he likes your body because thats what some guys only like. If hes sweet and sincere then it could mean he likes you. Its hard for me to tell because I'm not there to see all of this, but you should just try flirting with him a little and see what happens.
