Every time I try to curl my hair from the bottom up with my curling iron, there is always this weird bent part at the bottom that looks very strange. What is the proper way to curl my hair, and are there any sites demonstrating how with videos or pictures? Thanks so much in advance!

It gets bent because the thing that clams down ur hair is hott too so it styles the bottom bent.
Just make sure none of the bottom is showing and then just curl up.
