I've been having sex with my boyfriend for like a month. We have been using a condom and i got my period like two weeks ago and since then we've had sex like 6 times, 4 in one day. and after we had sex one time my stomach hurt and it happened again the next day. Does anyone know why ? (link)

It could be because of the pain or irratation caused from sex. It is most likely not pregnancy since you have used a condom every time. Also, your stomach could be hurting from a non related reason.

Well, in my opinion, yes. Some girls, however, have used them for quite awhile and find it okay. Personaly, I find them bulky and a tampon is much more comfortable and easier to move in. Some pads, like the ones made for thongs, are not as bad, but still are not as unnoticable as a tampon. Hope I could help!

I am a 19 year old guy and my girlfriend is on the pill. We have sex almost everyday and most of the time we use a condom also.She has only missed one pill this month. Im kinda worried though because we had sex yesterday afternoon without a condom. Am I stupid for worrying how likely is it that she will get pregnant? or get an STD. I have only been with two other people and I have been checked for STD's twice.

Well her chances for getting an STD are high if you have one. But if you have been tested after you had intercourse with two other people, you should be okay since im guessing it was negitive? Her likelyness of pregnancy is low since she only missed 1 pill and if she took it as directed otherwise. Once you miss 2, then your in trouble. Also, you are usually supposed to make up the pill the next day, meaning if she missed one day, she should take 2 the next day at regular time to make up for it. This is how my birth control works, but she should read the sheet with her perscription that says what to do if she missed a pill. If she did exactly what it says to do, her chances are pretty low. birth control is 99.7% effective when taken correctly. Her chances maybe a little higher since she forgot, but not by much. hope I could help!

If he used a condom correctly and the whole time, the chances are pretty low because it was protected sex. But there is always a chance she could get it because condoms are not 100% effective.Also, some studies say that hpv effects parts of the genital area that is not covered by condoms so it is only partually protected, others studies argue that it does completely prevent it. I suggest she get an STD test for it or a pap smear to determine if she has HPV. If she doees not I also suggest the vacination for it, which I just got that prevents this std and potentially cervical cancer.

Some pills are effective after one month, actually most are, but some are effective after only a week. I got ones like that called Microgestin. Also it doesnt always make you gain weight, some people actually loose weight while on the pill. and the pill doesnt make you hornier

Doesn't everyone tell you it's incredible stupid, dumb, and unhealthy to do drugs like weed and cocaine, etc? Then why on an ADVICE site does it have questions asking about drugs. No, not like educational things about them, like "Oh when i smoked weed I threw up, is this normal?". I was expecting every answer to be like "You shouldn't have smoked weed in this first place, these are drugs and they are unhealthy." Sure its bad to "do drugs" I guess lol. but does that mean that people cant be informed. Your basically saying that sex is wrong so we shouldnt teach people to use condoms. Like sex, people are going to do drugs no matter how much you dont like it. There will always be someone shooting up heroin, taking there moms pills, and smoking a bowl. No one is saying its "cool". But I would rather have someone be informed about drugs than someone be a complete idiot about them and die from doing something that couldve been prevented. Plus, from your perspective,Im guessing you have never done drugs, so its easy for you to say not to do them its dumb. But let people give advice to others that have been in bad situations and know what to do.

Not so smart. This will turn into him just wanting one thing from you, sex. If you like him thats fine, but dont use sex to get him to date you. You will end up getting hurt in the end. If you guys do end up dating , wait awhile before getting sexual.

I recommend getting on the pill before you have sex. The pill is about 99.7% effective if used correctly. The chances are low if you use a condom correctly, but they are still high compared to the pill.

Both is the safest, But birth control is more effective against pregnancy since condoms can break or come off. Birth control has a 99.7% effectiveness rate. But condoms do protect against STDs, and birth control does not. Personally, I choose the pill as my method of birth control

Yes, your parents probabily were having sex. I know its a weird thought because its your parents, but they do have sex. They want to lock the door to prevent you from walking in and having to see them in the act which would be even worse. How do you think you came along? Dont confront your mom, what is she supposed to say? shes not doing anything wrong really, shes having sex with her husband. The best thing to do would be to let it go and just accept it. I really love my boyfriend, but there is one thing that is really getting me angry! I used this product that like waxes "down there" in different shapes.
