i get head aches alot. right near my sinuses. but my mom wants to get an xray of my brain for some reason. would they we able to tell i smoke weed? because i lose brain cells?
cailoisa answered Wednesday January 3 2007, 10:36 am: That would require a blood or urine drug test. Sounds more like a sinus related problem than a brain problem. Perhaps you are allergic to smoke? Or you could have a sinus infection.
Anyway, loss of brain cells due to smoking marijuana has not been medically proven, or even supported. If you are interested in more information on the true, medically proven long and short term side effects of marijuana, please let me know.
EDIT: Sorry, I should've been more specific. They must be testing specifically for the presence of marijuana in order to detect it. As far as I know, every state requires by law that a drug test cannot be performed without your consent, so you would know if it was going to happen. So, no worries. But maybe smoking weed is part of the problem! [ LM's advice column | Ask LM A Question ]
