I'm going to get braces within a few weeks and I'm kinda starting to worry about playing flute with them. Do any of you have braces and play flute? If so, is there anyway you can position the flute so it's not right on your chin when you play? Also, will having braces dramatically change my performance? (link)

I don't play the flute anymore, but I used to, and I had braces.
Once you get used to them, which doesn't take much time at all, you're fine, and you just play like normal.

Your parents are making this much harder.
First, tell people that Bin Laden is a poor example of Islam and that you don't agree with him.
Anyone stupid enough to pick on you over this deserves everything you can throw at him/her. Tell them not to be so racist.
Complain to the school counselor if the teasing persists.
And, of course, don't lose your faith unless you want to. Religion is a personal desision. It should be made by YOU, not by a bunch of bigotted classmates.

Like 5 of my best friends are cheerleaders..and they talk about cheerleading 24/7..and i feel left out alot of the time. How can i feel not left out? (link)

You can:
-join the team. not sure if you'd want to, and it could take a while, so not the best solution.
-steer the conversation away from cheerleading whenever you can. (ex: walking down the street w/ your friends, listening to them talking about cheerleading. "Hey, look at the hobo! I think he's drunk! How can you tell if he's drunk?")
-try to hang out with a mixture of cheerleading friends and non-cheerleading friends, so at least you'll have someone to talk to. Also, if there's more than one non-cheerleader, your cheerleading friends might be a little more conscious about not boring everyone else to death.
-tell them that you're playing a game to see how many times they can say the word "cheerlead" in a minute. This is a pointed way of telling them they're talking about it too much. If they're very sensitive, this could be taken as rude, so be careful. But if they're your best friends, they'll prolly understand.

Try iTunes. If you don't have it, find a friend who does and burn it. iTunes costs 99 cents a song, but you have to burn your own CDs. So if you've got the equipment to do it, or if you have a friend who does, do so. iTunes rocks socks.

BMI stands for Body Mass Index. It's a measure of body fat. You can find some good ones on line. My favorite one to use it at:

Internet BMIs are thrown off if you're muscly, though, so your doctor, who factors in some other stuff as well, will give you a more accurate BMI.

he may or may not be gay, but just acts like a stereotypical gay man. they had the stupid playing it straight show on fox for a while that showed that gay men don't act very different from straight ones.
with him, leave it alone. it prolly makes him uncomfortable. if he's straight, his self-confidence is hurt by this, and if he's gay, and denies it, he probably just isn't ready to come out.

Hi, Im 14 and my dad is mormon and my mom is just christian (they are divorced, sense i was 4) and my mom has a problem with me being mormon. well i was thinking about joining the wicca religion, can you maybe give me some advice about it, like do they believe in god and stuff like that, cuz my friend alyssa is wiccan and she hasnt really explained it very well.

Wicca is a great religion. You can do what you like with it because it's flexible, and most wiccans are fairly oppenminded.

From what I can tell, wicca is a nature-based religion, part of paganism for those more interested in spells and rituals. I've considered it as a religion myself, but never actually joined.

I don't support Bush for several reasons:
-He's a warmonger.
His first reaction after 9/11 was to go to war, kill an awful lot of civilians, and then attempt to connect Al-Queda to Iraq, sent innocent soldiers in to kill innocent civilians, causing an awful lot of death.
-Anti-Gay marriage
He's against gay and lesbian marriage. Just because a person is attracted to members of the same sex is no reason to discriminate against them.
-He's anti-abortion
I can understand being against partial birth abortion. I even have trouble with that, unless the mother's life is in danger. But abortion needs to stay legal, particularly when the mother could die or have her health severely damaged. Women own their bodies, and Bush doesn't like that.
-He's against stem-cell research.
Could save an awful lot of people. He's causing a brain-drain in America, all the good scientists are leaving.
-HE DIDN'T EVEN WIN THE ELECTION IN THE FIRST PLACE!
No matter how you count the votes, Gore won. He won both the popular vote and the electoral vote. But the supreme court stepped in before the counting was done, making Bush the winner.

Answer Advicenators questions, read web comics (may I recomment errantstory.com?) take quizzes (quizilla.com) and memes (memegen.deskslave.org) and make them, which you can do on either of those sites.
-Read!
Go to the library and take out lots and lots of books!
-Take public transportation.
If you have a bus stop or a train or some such near by, take it! You can go wander around town. That's always fun. ^^
-Write.
If you like to write, try to write a story! NaNoWriMo.org has a challenge meant for November, but you can try to do it in August, just for fun.

If they're not letting you date him because of his race, then they're wrong. Tell them how he's a great person, really nice to you, and all the other reasons he's wonderful.
If it's not because of race, then figure out why they don't like him and come up with counter arguments.
"He distracts you from schoolwork" - "He cheers me up and keeps me going."

She's either bisexual or homosexual, and try to respect that and not act weird.
On the teacher thing, it's normal to have crushes on older people, but it's unrealistic, and the teacher is probably straight. She probably knows this, and if she asks your opinion, just tell her that, but be nice about it.

Hi, I'm 14 years old. And I weigh around 115 pounds. I don't exactly have a flat stomach but I'm not fat at the same time. I'm 5'2 and I think that I should loose some weight. I've been trying not to eat so much (I don't anyway) But I get light headed when I don't eat. What I'm asking is, is 115 pounds for a 5'2" 14 year old too much to weigh? I also don't feel good about myself because I don't have a flat stomach. Is there anyway I can get a flat stomach? I used to have one when I danced and did gymnastics, but I've quit those so I don't do any excersie anymore and It's hard to keep in shape that way. Do sit-ups. There are different kinds of sit ups you can do. Find them on the internet.
Go back to dance or gymnastics! Or, if you hate them, try Yoga. You don't necessarily have to take a class for it. Just buy a book or look online. There are sooooo many Yoga sites out there. -_-;;
On the eating thing, DON'T STOP EATING! Just eat healthier foods. Get some recipies for fruit smoothies, make them, and have them for lunch!

I don't know whether you did the bad grammar on purpose, but I sort of like it, actually.
Things that need fixing:
alls (2nd line) - all
your more (2nd line) - you're more
your my inspriation - you're my inspiration
are you using "you" or "u?" Because you use them both.
A few of the lines are a bit cliché. "never will a day pass" "truly in love with you." Find ways to replace them. Use imagery. Everybody loves imagery.
You use "to me" a lot. "the world to me," "u mean to me," "more than a person to me." Is this on purpose? If not, try changing it.
Things I love:
"I may not show it" - so true! this is an accurate slice of life, unlike a lot of romance poems which are just cliché after cliché after cliché.
"you're more than a person to me you're my inspiration." - V. nice. Nice rhythm too it. The grammars mucked up, but in a good way. Artistic lisence!
"only if you would open your eyes" - fun with vowels! it's like alliteration, but . . . not. It's good though. ^^

Don't do it unless YOU want to. From your question, it doesn't sound like you really do. If pleasing him is the only reason you would get it done, that's not enough reason. He loves you for who you are, not for the size of your breasts.

My mother treats me like I'm 5. I can't shop wherever i want to. She tries to hold my hand while crossing the street and at the mall. I needed new underwear and there were thongs and then granny underwear. She handed me the granny underwear!!! I told her I wasn't wearing them and then she was like, "Ok we're leaving here then." try to do your shopping yourself. are there any other family members or friends you can go with? show that you're responsible by making a list of what you need.
tell her that sometimes you feel like she treats you like a little kid and that you don't like it. be nice, don't yell, but don't put up with it either.

When she brags, tune out and try to change the subject.
When she tells you you're a show off, say, "I'M a show off? Hah." or something to that effect.
In short, just don't put up with it. Don't talk about subjects that are going to start her bragging or calling you a show off.
