Ok my mom is really being mean to me. Like if I do something wrong or something she calls me STUPID or she hits me really hard that leaves a mark for a week or she like pulls me really hard and she throws like books at me or she slams me into the wall. then i always end up crying. and most of my friends think i`m really smart but i forget alot so thats why my mom always hurts me.And then after we fight i always ends up crying. Then my mom tells my dad and then my dad like yells at me and stuff.So then my mom makes me feel like i`m not apart of the family and makes me feel stupid. what should i do? plase help. =] (link)

My hair is naturally pin straight. I like my hair alot, but sometimes I want it to be wavy. Scrunching doesn't make my hair curly at all. I used all types of curling products and mouse and everything my hair dresser gave me and that didn't help much either. I put me hair in 2 tight braids and left them in over night and it gave a little wave but within an hour my hair was back to straight again. I tried 2 different expensive curling irons and my hair came out looking horrible. I'm not considering a perm I tried one 3 times and 1 was worse then the next. I really want curly hair!!!! How can I make my hair look nice and curly I tried products and stuff but if you have pin straight hair and used something that worked please tell me the name of it. Thank you!!! (link)

ok so have a shower the night before u want your hair to be wavy and dont put any products in it. After your done your shower french braid/normal braid your hair (french braid for 2 days up usually works better) and in the morning let it out and you should have wavy hair.

does anyone know a workout that would effectively reduce the size of a stubborn lower belly? there is muscle underneath but i feel like building the muscle up with push out the rest of the bulge and make it worse. any ideas? thank you :) (link)

well you could run or cheerlead thats what i do. Its simple just run/jog everyday for about 30-60 minutes.

My mom pushes me with grades. She made me study all day for 5 days for one test, and I got a 77. Now I'm grounded for 2 weeks and have to study even harder and longer. I have no social life during the week and rarely on weekends because my mom always makes me study. I'm just not that smart. My first language is Chinese, so school in America is difficult and my mom doesn't care. She hit me with the textbook once because I didn't take notes like she told me to. My friends and I agree that I'm doing the best I can, and adding even more days of non-stop studying won't help. What do I do? (link)

you are right you are doing the best you can and your mom is making you cram it. If you do like a hour of studying right before bed then sleep on it you willl remember more. I did that and I got an 85. Sleep helps any thing.

My bestfriend has a ton of guy friends. Sometimes I feel left out of all their conversations and dont know how to get in the conversation too. Be yourself laugh at any jokes they say and you will get into the conversations and if you start liking them be yourself if you get nervous do something that makes you calm down.

ok my life long dream has been to study in america (university) and last night i had a dream that i was visiting america for a month or so, but when i was supposed to go back to my country.. i couldn't like things kept getting in the way so i missed my plane, and so on.. and this was really scary in the dream! so like, is this a sign? that im not gonna be happy if i get there? or that i shouldt go there? or was it just a dream?? im so scared please help! its just a dream if it happens like alot i would just try and dream of something different. I have had dreams like that and after they just stop so ya just relax when u go to sleep maybe get a dream catcher i have one and since i got it ive only had a few bad dreams

I have recently found a cat and her three kittens living under my neighbors shed. Me and my friends have been feeding them cheese and tuna, but we are running low on that. So I was wondering what other things cats likes to eat other than tuna and meat, is there any type of bread they'll like or vegetable. Anything would work..Also the kittens do approach me but everytime I try to pet them they run away but the mother isnt afraid how do I get them to allow me to pet them? (link)

whats the big deal with 60's music. my perants are always saying how that music was so much better and all the artist back then are the best and people now just lip sync and dont write thier own music and suck. same with the public. all the best ratted songs and albums and artists are old songs and artists.
i just don't know why that music is apperantly so much better, people are saying that now people don't write thier own songs or play thier own insterments or lip sync but lots of artist did the same thing like elvis and the supremes and many girl groups and the monkees and cher and it's just kindof enoying. can anyone please explain to me why that music is better or why it's more popular.

Well to your parents that was there music and parents dont usually spread from that. I mean I have to listin to 60's music in my house all the time. My mom is just starting to get into the new music, she even knows all the words to most of the black eyed peas songs. So its just there music and they like it and dont like much of our music because its not the same as theres.

I'm a columnist on here and have been for about a year or so. I've noticed hundreds of questions dealing with depression. While I understand that it seems to be more common in teenagers now, why is it that it is mostly girls? Is it the way they are raised? Is it imprinted in DNA? I'm interested in the psychological aspect of it and hope to major in it someday, but I've looked it up everywhere online and can't find a reliable source.
