So normally, I'm just a happy, straight-A, popular highschool student. I have lots of friends but some enemies because I don't back down when people talk behind my back or start fights with me.

There are 10+ grade eleven girls who all year have been calling me a slut/whore/tramp. Today afterschool I was walking with my best friend into town. 3 of the girls started yelling at me and saying mean stuff. So I said some stuff and kept walking, I just wanted them to not pick on me (thinking I'm weak). They ran up behind us and I said "I don't want trouble with you just leave me alone" and we had a bit of a staring contest and I kept walking. Next thing I knew I had a sick-to-my-stomach feeling and I had been punched in the back of the head.

They ran away, but as I walked through town a bunch of other older girls (friends with them) ran out of a store and yelled "whore!" once I had passed.

I don't want to be afraid of leaving my house. I have a great life.. a good family, friends, grades, looks, athletism, etc. They could easily screw that up. Anyone who has told teachers about them has been beaten up. They aren't afraid to use weapons, either.

What do I do..?

my advice would be not to sink to their level, like maybe they'll say some mean stuff to you and everyone will laugh, why dont you laugh too and be like good one!!

just ignore them pretend like they are not even there, if you shout things back at them, that will give them more of a reason to beat you up

My housemate just came home with a chinchilla.

I have borderline severe asthma. I'm allergic to everything with fur and feathers. They didn't consult with me before getting it because "they're hypoallergenic pets".

I've been doing research, and apparently they're not. I'm not just allergic to dander; I'm allergic to saliva, which, oddly enough, ends up in the air.

I'm really ticked off that they didn't talk to me first, knowing what my condition was like (this same guy brought two cats to the house TWICE to stay for weekends, and I ended up in the hospital because of it).

Am I right in being annoyed?

Has anyone been in the same situation (housemate with a pet they're allergic to) and have any tips on how to keep my next 3 years from being miserable?

you should talk to your housemate about how severe your asthma, and how it would probably be better for your health if they got rid of the chinchilla

well i really really like this guy and weve been talking for a week and we hung out last night and it was amazing..i had so much fun with him and we kissed and he kept complimenting me and kissing my hand and he was just so fun and nice and i had a great time with him and we were comfortable around each other which is a good sign but heres the thing..he called me today and said he has never felt so strongly about someone and he said hes pretty much in love with me and then all the sudden he said "do you wanna go out with me?" i wanted to say yes but its only been a WEEK and is it just me or is it a little too soon to be saying he loves me? i dont wanna say it back yet cause he might just mean it in a way such as girls say they love each other to each other just a kind way ya know but what do you think it is? and also hes good friends with my ex boyfriend so we have to keep this a secret from my ex boyfriend so he wont get mad and stop being friends with the guy i like so that makes it a little difficult but im willing to do it.anyway what should i do to try to slow things down a bit? obviously talk to him but does anyone have a reason hes moving so fast?

maybe he is moving so fast because he think you might be interested in another guy
and he probably thought that if he said i love you to you that you would go out with him and forget the other guy he thought you liked

and about slowing things down, say to him "I like you a lot" or something along the lines of that, instead of "I love you"

he might think you mean it and break up with you

I have an almost 1 year old long haired Chihuahua, with the possibility that he's mixed. (I think he's mixed because he's WAY too big to be a pure bred chihuahua). The first few months we've had him there have been no problems (I've had him since the middle of June). But recently he's been jumping up alot and biting people. He's drawn blood on two people so far, including my nephew whom he bit in the lip today.


We punish him whenever he does this but to no avail. My mom said that if he bites another person and draws blood that we have to put him down. Obviously I don't want to put him down, he's my baby and I love him but this is getting way out of hand.

So far my options are to muzzle him or put him down. For now, until we can figure out something else to do we're going to muzzle him. But I don't want to keep my dog in a muzzle all the time.

What else can I do? I don't want to put my dog down...

ask your mom if you can give him to an animal shelter, explain to her that maybe they can train your dog, and that way you didnt have to put him down, and that it would break your heart if you did

alrighty here's the deal

a month and a half ago my girlfriend (let's call her m) broke up with me. we still talked and everything and other stuff like that but it was awkward. personally, i didn't care. i was going to do the same thing in about a week (and no, i DON'T want to get back with her).

two weeks later, i started going out with a friend of m's. let's call this friend k. k told me that m and and another friend of m's (who we'll call s) didn't really care at first. they gradually started being not-so-nice to either of us though.

about a week ago, k called me right after i got back home from water polo practice after school (we go to different schools). she was crying a lot. i found out that m, s, and another "friend" (whom we'll call c) verbally attacked her because of me (remember, m is my ex)

feeling angry at all of them, i verbally attacked k's so-called "friends," who also used to be my friends. now m and s won't speak to k and myself (k and c made up and are still best friends).

i feel like i've ruined my relationships with these people, and that k's losing friends and getting verbally attacked because of me (of course, she says it's not my fault. but i disagree).

what should i do?

you may not like this answer, but i think you should explain to k (your girlfriend, right? idk, theres too many letters) that it would probably be best for both of you if you broke up

and that you dont want k to lose all her friends just to go out with you

you have to look at the relationship, is it worth her losing all her friends and being verbally abused??

I feel really awkward when people ask me about my religion and stuff because i'm agnostic and don't think there is a way to prove if god is real or not. I really don't want to tell my friends that because most of them are really religious and i'm scared they wouldn't like me if I did. Why do people think it's such a big deal if you don't believe in god? I don't know if I should tell them or not.

if they really were religious, they wouldnt stop liking you because of your religion

they might try to get you to come to church with them, just to see if you could accept jesus, but if you dont believe there is one, then at least they tried

oh my god, seriously, what has the world come to...? i read a question on here and a girl had sex at 10 YEARS OLD. i was watching the news a couple of hours ago and an 8 YEAR OLD HAD SEX. yes, an 8 year old. i didn't even think 8 year olds knew what sex meant! on the internet news a 12 year old had sex and killed her own child because she said she wasn't ready for a kid. really, what's wrong with the world? why are people having sex at such a young age? do any of you agree that this is absolutatly crazy?

A while ago (Nov 25th '06 to be exact...)I was at my sisters house. Shes 19, Im 14, and her boyfriend is 24. She decided that it would be super fun to get me drunk and it sounded like fun so i went along with it. And then her b/fs friend came over (call him John...) and he was nice and all. And then later when him and her bf were outside, she told me that 'John' wanted to make out with me...John was 20 years old...I was like...ew no hes old..but my sister insisted that it wasnt weird. So then later My sister and her bf went to sleep and it was just me and John...and i layed down on the couch and he was laying next to me and he asked "would it be wierd if i kissed you?" and i was like "yeah...i dont know" and he said "let me help you make up ur mind..." and he started kissing me and we started making out (im still drunk btw) and it got pretty intense and it realized how wierd it was (id never kissed, let alone made out, with anyone before...) so i got up and left. and ever since its been branded into my brain and im just haunted by it. BUT ANYWAY. Ever since, Ive been having dreams that i have older boyfriends and ive been attracted to older (18, 19, 20 y/o) guys and im just not sure what to do.

I want to forget whaat happened but i also want an older guy..is that wierd/???

This is the first time our spring dance is a "fling" rather than a "formal". So this time the attire is casual. I know I'm gonna wear jean capris, but I don't know what to wear on top.
