Can anyone give me any speech topics that I could write about??
It's just for this "writer's craft" class where we have to present an original speech, but I can't think of any topics.
It can be about anything we want, but I'd like it to be kinda like motivational/inspirational...well those kind of speeches would be better for the class anyways...
So if anyone has any ideas at all...that would be greatly appreciated!!

I'm applying to colleges right now, and I want Psychology as a major. I intend to be a psychologist for younger children .
So, which major would I select from the drop-down list? There are three choices and I know it's not Forensic Psychology.
It would either be Community Clinical - BA Psychology or General - BA Psychology.

I am in college for the same thing, child psychology. I always selected General psychology (BA) just because your first few semesters of college will just cover basic psychology and brain development classes. Plus, you can always change your major if you want once you start taking classes.

I am pretty broke and don't spend money on eye shadow base. so what I have found works, is using concealer. Just rub concealer over your eye lids before you apply your eye shadow and it sticks twice as well.

I started talking to this guy (jake) that I go to school with a few weeks ago. We really hit it off and now we've been going out for a week. I really like him a lot and I can tell he really likes me too. My friends and people that know him at school tell me to be careful around him and telling me that he's a pervert and he wants sex and stuff like that. He does not seem like the kind f guy that these people are telling me he is. He is really sweet and hasn't even tried to pressure me into anything. I trust him be with all these things that I've heard about him it makes me nervous. Do you think he's just putting on an act to get in my pants? Do not give him the benefit of the doubt. I know you want to prove your friends and everyone wrong but more then likely, they're right. Guys do pretty much whatever it takes to get laid and if it means him acting like a sweet heart and telling you whatever you want to hear, he'll do it. I am speaking from several personal experiences here haha. don't let him screw you over.

Im a sophomore and this guy is a senior and for a week or two he would be eyeing me in the hallway and my friend is friends with his friend and so my friend told her friend to tell the guy that I thought he was hott, and he said he didnt know who I was so. So since then, nothing has happened so I am pretty much just letting it pass by. I thought maybe he would make a move or something since I thought maybe he thought i was hott or something since he kept looking at me. Now that break is over its kinda a new start so im not going to go out of my way to make this guy notice me again. Basically if i put myself out there and they dont respond then i move on, i dont bother wasting my time. But what do you think? Should I give up or keep trying? Anything would be great, thanks! I really want to take a vacation to mexico, but I'm not sure where I should go.
Money isn't too much of an issue (as long as it isn't like $3000) because I don't plan on going for another year so I have a good amount of time to save up.
So really I'd like to hear from people who have gone somewhere and how they liked it and such.

I have been on a cruise to Cozumel, Mexico. Cozumel was so beautiful. the water was so clear, there were lots of activities, nor legal drinking age, and the beaches were not crowded or trashy. not to mention the food was awesome! I am not sure the costs of a trip like this but i know there are certain seasons to book plane tickets to where it is a little cheaper. there is a difference in prices there- you will use more pesos then dollars due to the exchange rate.

I just went to see Theroy of a Deadman in concert the other night. any song by them is awesome! The other bands that performed that night were Steadlur, Framing Hanley, and Pop Evil. So i recommend anything by them!

there is an alternative to waxing called threading. Not all places that have waxing do it though. i personally haven't done it but i've heard it hurts less, and there is less irritation then waxing. google threading and watch some videos of how it's done.

This may be a little confusing. I moved to Missouri, June 28th.. I applied at Missouri State University- West Plains. I am thinking about moving. I dont want to live in the city more country. I googled schools in like Longview Texas and stuff. So here is my question im looking for a college where i can take care my general studies and all the classes to become a social worker. Well if you want to be in the country Georgia has some good schools. Almost any school you would apply to out here has a social work major. Colombus State University (colombus, ga) is where i am applying after i finish a few classes at a city college. They have a good psychology/sociology/social work program i've heard. and it's by a military base so not too much city. Yet enough city that there is a mall close by and things to do on the weekend. La Grange College is a good one too. just research some, good luck!

so i took plan b. Cause i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend. sooooo he came over my house and then like at 4 o clock in the morning we had sex (which means it was Saturday) and then i took it like 10 pm on Monday that means it was under 72 hours right?
but i did'nt throw up which was one of the symptoms does this mean that it did'nt work?

Yeah girl that was smart to take it for sure. Those are just symptoms and not everyone that takes the pill has those symptoms. Its like when you take medications they have warning labels but people don't always get the symptoms. they're just warnings.

I have bruises all over my legs. Some are as small as a penny-- but then there's some which take 3 to 4 inches of my legs. It's disgusting, and humiliating to where shorts and show my legs to anyone, even my boyfriend. And it's summer, which definitely doesn't help.
It's been going on for about 2 months now on and off. Could this be a nutrition thing? I've had issues with a calcium deficiency in the past.. could that be it?
Any ideas on if/when I should see a doctor, or whether or not I should be concerned at all would really be helpful.

Definitely see a doctor. i bruise easily and out of no where all the time. i've had fainting spells, too. turns out, i am anemic which means i am lacking iron and red blood cells. so that could be your problem just go get some tests done.

that's happened to me before. Install ipod agent. it's a free trial but it does the trick, it will copy all the songs from your ipod, back to your itunes.

You are definitely not overweight. However, I would not suggest losing weight. You can tone up if you want by running or doing other exercises during your week. but in my opinion i don't think you should try and lose weight. I am unsure of how much sugar you should consume but i do know that more intake of sugar in your foods often causes people to gain weight. Unless you are talking about those weight loss coffee shakes then no coffee isn't a factor in losing weight. just have a healthy diet and exercise plan.
