I have bruises all over my legs. Some are as small as a penny-- but then there's some which take 3 to 4 inches of my legs. It's disgusting, and humiliating to where shorts and show my legs to anyone, even my boyfriend. And it's summer, which definitely doesn't help.
It's been going on for about 2 months now on and off. Could this be a nutrition thing? I've had issues with a calcium deficiency in the past.. could that be it?
Any ideas on if/when I should see a doctor, or whether or not I should be concerned at all would really be helpful.

I never figured out what it was.
It was weird. It just suddenly stopped.
Well, alot of medications increase bruising: taking aspirin, ibuprofen or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs; anticoagulants; or even birth control pills. So, if you're taking any of those, that's probably your answer.
I also read somewhere that vitamin C helps heal/prevent bruises. If you wanted to try it, it probably couldn't do any harm.

I can tell you that you are best off seeing one.
Yeah, it could be something to do with your calcium deficiency. There could be other reasons, or it could just be nothing.
There's really no way to know for sure unless you go in to see your doctor.
I don't feel you should be concerned about dying or anything, I doubt that's the case. BUT, I wouldn't wait too long to have it checked out.
If you have an opening in your schedule, I'd make an appoinment sometime this week. [ S_C's advice column | Ask S_C A Question ]
