I want to pierce my belly button at home but i'm not sure how to do it or where in my belly button to put the needle through. Can you help?

You really shouldn't pierce your own belly button it's really unhealthy.
If you really do decide to, you need to numb the spot with ice, and heat a saftey pin; the pointy end. The needle goes from top to bottom, and when you put the ring in as you know it goes from bottom to top. Pinch a little piece of skin that looks reasonable to have a ring there and make a black dot so that when you pierce it you know the correct place. If you do it, good luck!

Okay so i have this friend lets call him jack. well i think that jack cuts himself. because i asked him and he said dont worry about it. and he kept saying that. and yeah. so i think he cuts because if he didnt he would just say no right?
any ideas what i should do about it?

Try tinypic.com, it works pretty good. Sometimes there's nothing you can do though.

MY FRIEND IS THEE MOST ANNOYEST PERSON EVER WHEN IT COMES TO GUYS.
She is just rawr. Like, she likes this boy, that likes me.. & I used to like him [it has nothing to do with me still having feelings for him] But, she always likes the same people I do, she just always copies me! & the people she likes, don't like her.. at all. & i just can't stand it. How do I make her understand these things? Why does she want to waste her time?
& then when i try to be like.. "why do you like him? he doesn't like you.. like someone who likes you." [i say it alot nicer though] & she flips out. she starts saying.. "What are you trying to get at" & stuff & its like grr annoying.

Tell her that maybe she should find someone else, or find someone else for her. Maybe she'll get the hint by that.
Most of the time people realize, but I guess she doesn't. Ask her why she always likes the same people as you. She'll probably deny that she does but oh well, it's worth asking.

I had my period on november 1st and now it is january 13 and i havent gotten my period. Lately i have been having the worst back aches and the last two days i had light cramping that only lasted like 6 min or less and a few headaches but not spotting. Could i be pregnant and how far would i be if i was. i need adv please help (link)

Well one thing you have to ask yourself is if you've had sex since you didn't write it here.
Take a pregnancy test. Go to the drugstore with a friend that you trust and buy one and take it. Just to be sure.

hey ok, so when my boyfriend and i have sex.. he never finishes... he usually makes an excuse for us to stop. what's up with that? i know that im good.. he tells me i am. also when we are talking about sexual stuff he kinda avoids it, like he doesnt like to talk bout it? he usually jokes around about stuff like that on the phone.. like forplay kind of stuff and sexual things, but when we are in person he like never brings it up. is there anything that i can do to get him more comfortable about talking that way? because that would really turn me on & might make the sex better. Maybe he doesn't want to finish because he doesn't want to make you pregnant? Even if you are using protection, just to be safe.

OK. I'll cut straight to the chase. I used to have a MySpace about 2 years ago. My parents were totally fine with it, until there were a bunch of rapings in our state. At first, they only made me delete the pictures off there so that nobody knew what I looked like. Then, they made me get off the site all together. (My friends deleted theirs as well.) However, my brother (2 years older than me) has been allowed to stay on the site.
After two years, I've visited the site through my friend's account and have noticed that many of my friends have made new ones. This has left me to the decision on whether or not I should make one.
Keep in mind that my parents haven't really talked about it, and my brother still has one (no pictures of him). Since I'm in High School now, don't you think I should be allowed on this site?
I've asked my mom during the summer and she said "definitely not."
What would you do? What are your thoughts on this?

Just as long as you don't talk to anyone you don't know and don't give our private information you should be fine. Make your profile set to private so that only your friends can see it.
I have one and my mom doesn't care. She just says don't talk to anyone you don't know.

Okay, I missed my period last month and this month.

I think you should spend more money and take another pregnancy test. That's really nerve wrecking. I know cause I've thought that before. But I suggest that you keep this to yourself for a little longer. I think you should go to one of the clinic's with someone older than 18, OTHER THAN YOUR PARENTS and maybe get tested there. Just to be safe.

Then sittt it out! Chill and talk with your friends. I'm sure you're not the only one not wanting to dance, there will be other shy people there. But when a slow song comes on try to find someone to dance with, OR just look classy while you dance! Maybe the other girls will learn a thing or two from you.

Hmmm, Things to make you a good kisser would be making sure you don't like open your mouth too wide. And keep a limited amount of saliva in your mouth! And if you feel like suprising someone... you can bite their bottom lip, LIGHTLY! Let's not kill them. But it's really attractive.

There's nothing wrong with that, but I think you should look out for her. Sometimes older boys pressure younger girls to do things. Make sure she doesn't feel pressured at all, and hopefully her parents know. If they don't know, you should tell your friend to tell her parents. It's not the best thing to be running around with a 17 year old when you're only 12. What people do at 12 and what people do at 17 are two different things. Pretty soon he'll be 18 and it'll be illegal for them to be dating. I'm not saying it's right or wrong but just watch out for her.

Cucumbers on the eyes for facials! But when you go in the bathtub take a small towel, like one of the ones you dry your hands with and put it over your stomach. It feels so nice and it keeps your body REALLLLY warm which is good. Maybe you'll sweat out all the ickyness!

i really need advice. do you know how to lose weight? especially in my stomach and thighs. whenever i walk my feet are always touching and whenever i sit down, my thighs look like flatout pancakes. are there any tips? i know doing situps or crunches are good, but i seem to not do it coz of my laziness. [lol] im serious i get tired after doing about 20 situps then i stop. are there any food i shud avoid to lose weight? ive heard that if you lose weight and start eating whatever again, youll gain fat back. and that scares me. i wanna be fit and healthy for the rest of my life. pls give advice! and thanks in advance! =] (link)

If I were you I'd avoid drinking soda. And when you eat food the "TRANS FAT" Is the one that's the most. Keep to low sugars and EAT YOUR VEGGIES AND FRUITS! I would recommend running if you're worried about your thighs. I'm sure you'd get "lazy" LOL, but bring an I-pod or watch TV and run in place or something! ( I know it sounds stupid but who knows! ) Don't get lazy, think of your goal that you'd like to reach and whenever you feel like the laziness is going to hit make sure you realize that you want to get to your GOAL. Keep eating though, don't do that whole bulemia/anorexia bleh. I think everyone is better than that! GOOD LUCK!

do u knowany good straighteners out there? like really good ones that lasts all day without being frizzy ? but not too expensice ones.. maybe something that i can afford. [im 13. lol] ihave curly hair and my hair has been damaging due to hair dring and constant straightening. [also maybe because of all these different products i use for it like serums and sprays to make hair shine] i hope this doesnt sound confusing and i hope that you can help me!
ps. does hair dyeing also damage the hair?

The Chi is a really good straightner. Or Hellen of Troy. They sell ones in walmart by Conair that are good too. Just make sure that it will let you control the heat settings. Dying hair does damage hair, but I dye mine all the time. :X I really shouldn't. You can use Panteen-ProV conditioners that will help your hair. It says something about damaged hair, it works. And there are many products you can put in your hair before you straighten it. I recommend the bottle that's clear and it looks like liquid, but a little bit dense. I forgot what it's called but I'm sure it'll work.

So i like this guy and yes we do talk online sometimes. but at school we never talk coz i think were both too shy. he`s one year younger than me but were both in the same grade. My friend (who is friends with him) told me that he only goes out with girls because theyre "HOT". [and i also think that too sometimes]i really like him and all but i dont want to be with him. It seems like i dont know what that means but i also fantasize of being with him. I wonder if he asks me out, .. should i say yes or no? I think about him everyday and night. I think maybe you should give him a chance. Maybe he will really like you for who you are! :) You never know. If worse comes to worse, you guys break up and you can see if he isn't a good person. Hopefully your friend isn't right!

I stumbled across this site by accident. I seriously doubt many of you have the qualifications to give real people proper advice. After reading some of your responses to people's inquiries i was quite astonished as to how teenagers find they are able to give quality advice and information to real people in need with such little life experience. If you ask me you are not in a place to give your "personal opinion" when people truly believe you are giving them the right answer simply because you claim "people think i give really good advice". (eg. i am still at a loss as to how a 17 year old girl thinks she can give advice to someone regarding conceiving a child) I know you try to come across as a "godsend" to poeple who are in some sort of personal crisis and need a fast easy answer but the truth is, in the cases where it really counts, there rarely is one; at least not from you.
