Hi! I'm Jeremy and this is my advice column. I am 13 years old and in the 8th grade. I love my girlfriend kristen (mypainisreal) more than anything in the world. Don't let the screename or the whole colors on here be scary for you! I have been through a lot...such as depression...and some of love stuff! So please ask me things and i will answer you to the best of my capability! I think giving advice is fun. I'm not the best but I sure will try to help you. Ok, I'm 14/f
And there is this guy at my church. He is soo funny and he's a really good Christian, which is very important for me, and he has an awesome personality and is very fun to be around. The only problem is, he is really small. He is like 1/2 a foot shorter than me and weighs about 30 lbs less. Beside all this, I really like him a lot because of the inside, which is really what counts, but I'm afraid of what my friends would say if we dated. Because well, I've been known for going for the good-looking guys. So what should I do?
You should try and see if it works with him!! Height desnt matter! In our society the average look for couples is the guy is taller than the gurl! But thats stupid! if you like it try it out! true love can triumph anything!!!
ok me and my gf r goin on 3 months........thas my longest relationship and shes the first person ive eva said i love u to and.....she talks bout her ex bf ALOT it seems like every convo we have is bout him.....and then when we r around each other she neva wants to get close i have to sit next to her and kiss her and stuff like tha.......n e ways this had happened a couple times and i need sum opinions......should i break up w/ her or wait it out and see wut happens.....i dont know wut to do...i still love her but it hurts when she talks bout her ex and ive asked her to stop but she doesnt.....n e ones opinion helps.......thanx
This happened to me! See my girlfreind talked about her ex ALOT! But see the thing is that your g/f probably was in love with her ex...and its really hard to get over loving someone! She might not want to get close to you because she is shy....this happens a lot! So dont take that to heart...it doesnt mean anything! So if it really bothers you that much ask her about it...just say you know you talk about him alot...why? because it really bothers me! and then just talk it out....but dont end the relationship! If you love her you cant just throw it away like that! Hope i helped

I stopped...from just from mainly staying away from knives! Also i really just when i got really sad i would just talk to my freinds about it because it helped to get them off my chest! Yeah i do feel like i want to sometimes...Yeah sometimes i do regret it...its like i could do it right now...No ive never been put on meds! I usually hid my depression. Its good your cut-free for 4 months!!
Every day i go to school and i see all these couples walking around together. I'm really jealous because i want to be one of those guys that other people look at walking with their g/fs. The only problem is that there is nobody at my school that i can see myself goin out with right now. What can i do? (I'm a freshman)
Well I've had that feeling! You feel like I want a serious relationship but I can't see myself with these people! But just get to know some girls! Thats what happened to me. You never really know if your compatable with someone untill you REALLY know them! So just give it time! And don't give up! Your dream girls out there!

What's happening is normal! You will miss your old friends..house..etc! About the only thing to do is just be friendly...if you find out that someone has the same interests as you confront them and start chatting! And if you still can't find friends give it time! It will also probably help if you talk it out with your parents! It helps to get all that stuff out of your head!!! Trust me....hope ive helped you!
My semi formal is the same night as my Dad's dinner for winning employee of the year. I didnt go to my semi formal last year and a boy that I really like might ask me to the semi.. What do you guys think I should do? ( They're at the same times too!!)
Ok...well why don't you just ask your dad to re-schedule his dinner...tell him its important to you to go and tell him that you really like someone and want to go with them. If he doesnt understand then...i dunno what to do

No!!! Not at all dude!! Im 13 and i havent! Its probably just that you havent found her yet! The one that you want to kiss! Or it might mean that you are ready for a serious relationship and that you arent going to start kissing and more untill you love your partner!
hey im a 13 male and since 6th grade (im in 8th grade now) i've been getting a few annoying crushes. so let me striaghten this. i hate having crushes. why? because they're on people that play no point in my life. 6th grade was an ok crush, at least i talked to the girl often, but 7th grade, i must have heard 20 words from the girl towards me all year, she was a tom boy and i played no point in her life, and hers in mine, though i had a crush on her. now, in 8th grade, i do believe i have yet another on a girl that hasn't said ONE word to me. dont tell me to talk to her, i just want it to go away. why am i getting crushes on girls that i havent even spoken 2. this girl is in 3 of my classes, and i dont know i just like her. like i dont even have to hear her voice and i like her. its strange, just people with a certan air about them, i favor. mods dont delete. its just bugging me. is this normal?
Dude...i know totally how you feel! I get those all the time! But you can't stop them....i would get crushes on these gurls my freinds always talked about...and insulted! It is very normal...either you like the way they look or their personality it will happen!! and i know there ANNOYING...but you can't really do anything. They'll come and go! just live with them...and try talking to the ppl you have the crushes on! Thats what i did and now one of the gurls i had a crush on im in love with....so just wait them out and hold on for the ride!!
OK here's the deal. I smoke cigarettes .. yes I know all the bad stuff about it already and I know I shouldn't do it, blah blah blah. My best friend doesn't know tho. Shes my best friend in the entire world and I hate keeping this from her. A couple of people who she doesnt like know I smoke. She doesnt even know i talk to them. I hate keeping it from her. I dont want to quit. She thinks smoking is really stupid. How can I tell her about it ?
Ok! Well sit her down and just casually start talking about them. Then just kinda tell her that you do it and its really hard to stop. If she doesn't want to be your freind just because you smoke...then she isn't that great of a freind afterall!

Ok...well first off...its hard to stop! I should no! But its very possible she needs lots of support. First sit her down and talk about it with her. Start the convo off with something regular then bring it up. tell her that she needs help and that its very dangerous. Tell her she needs counciling and that she needs to get it fast. If she doesn't cooperate the only thing left to do is to tell your councilor at school. Im telling you that she might hate you for a while but she needs help! Its either her mad at you or her dead! Trust me...its good to have a freind supporting someone through counciling and such! If you do report her...when you go to the councilor you need to be like well i heard about cutting...and i heard cutters wont stop...why...and how can i help them stop! Then you could bring it up later if what the councilor suggested doesnt work. Most people that cut come from broken homes, violent homes, or they are very depressed! It helps to have a caring friend thats willing to tell just to help them.....trust me
I met a great guy. He is so sweet and made me smile everytime he said something...but there is always a catch isn't there!! A few days later he told me he liked this girl as if he had NO CLUE I liked him..sooo..what's the deal here? Should I just lay off and not talk to him now that he is with this girl?
No! Don't stop liking him! I think you should get to know him more and you should become his best-freind! Then if he does go out with this girl then you'll be there when he needs a shoulder to cry on...when he needs someone to talk to...and when he just needs a freind! Then if they do break up you'll be there to support him and eventuallly he'll realize your great! So just keep your head up!
