Q: Well last night i went to a superbowl prty at my friends b/f house, his friend was there!To be honest i nvr really liked him but we were flirting and we sat down to watch the superbowl and he sat next to me, we went closer and closer and by the end of the night we were holding hands and cuddling.But in the middle of all this he starts talkin about the girl he likes.And he says he likes me but he likes the other girl more.But it's one of those shes way out of his league and she doesn't like him at ALL!!Should i ask him out or should i get let him get over her?But i want to go out wit him in time for valentines day!

Q: yea so i love my brother to death but he is always at work or his fiance's house and i barely ever see him. i alwyas get ticked off at my parents and flip out and i always ruin things in the house when hes not home he really is the only person that knows how to help me calm down. now im like a mess lately because hes getting married and he will probably be moving out and i dont want him to but anyways what can i do to make the pain of losing my brother be gone and how can i stop myself from like trashing the house when i get pissed off at my parents? please help.

well, when things go wrong, just sit back and think about what your brother would have said to you to help calm you down. even though he wont be there, youll still have him in your head and itll make your life jsut as easy

Q: as crazy as this may sound i am a columnist here and i have seemed to top myself with this question it is about myself when i was in secong grade it was this boy i really liked and we would flirt but nonthing more and went like this until 4th grade then we went to diffrent school earlier this year i went to a diffrent school but had to move and he was there and we went back to flirting and everthing else and sonner or later he asked me out and i said no because i did not know if he was playin or not even thought he seemed serious and i did not want to look dumb now that i am at another school i miss him really bad and i feel like it is my fault that we are not together what should i do?

Q: My girlfriend & I dated for 3 years and she was the love of my life. Well, I decided to take a job that I couldn't refuse in Michigan. I wanted her to move up there w/ me, but she said she couldn't leave her home in TX. The long-distance thing was too tough, so we mutually broke up on good terms. She then started dating someone new who she was "miserable" with. After over a year of staying in touch w/ her, I moved back home. A short time later, she ended up breaking up w/ the other guy b/c she wasn't happy. Well, we started slowly seeing each other again and things were great, but she wanted to "take things slow and not jump back into a relationship" since she just got out of a bad one. So, not trying to force her into a relationship, we just hung out and did everything that a normal 'boyfriend/girlfriend couple' would do. Well, after a few months of dating each other (and me thinking that we were gonna get back together), she met and started dating a new guy! I WAS CRUSHED!!! Here was a girl who was my best friend, someone I thought I was going to marry, & the love of my life........and now she wants to date this other guy out of the clear blue?!?!?! I was devistated. She's still together with this guy.
Now, it's months later. We still talk (fairly often) via email and sometimes on the phone (I NEVER call her...she only calls me), but I'm still not over her. I truly loved her w/ all of my heart. Part of me hates her for ripping my heart out and the other part of me still loves her very deeply and wants her back. Someone told me "if it's meant to be, then she'll come back to me one day". I just don't know what to do and I need help..... Any advice?

you need to talk to her about it. you cant jsut go on feeling this way about her, both negative an dpositive. if you keep all these emotions inside, then you may hurt yourdelf and her. and maybe your right, if its meant to be, she will come back to you. but untill she makes that desicion, you need to get it al out.

Q: ok i know this one girl who ive known since last year we sat at the same lunch table, then this year we have spanish together..were not close but we do talk here and there. she went out with guy danny whos in 11th grade and they recently broke up after 6 months or so. my other friend had met him in a chat and they talk and so on, and anyways we were going to the mall on saturday and so we went. we come back and shes at my house waiting for her mom to pick her up so were talking to him on-line n seemed nice. so after she left we started talking and all, i seem a lil into him i dk, i saw him be4 like once or twice with the girl who went out with him. i just found out that he was in my lunch last sem and all so i kinda knew who he wasnt, i just never saw him only the back or something when the 2 were leavin the caf. i dont know if hes into me or something i never actually met him or anything, but im affaird to accept if he ever asks me out since i have friends who were friends with who he went out with, plus i also know her as well. then today my other friend who was over my house saturday night says she was confused and i asked why and she said bc she "bc i have a bf and i also like danny a lil" and i said "o0o the one from other night on-line?" and she said "yeah" and i just went "o0o" and she asked "y?" and i just said "j/w" and now i dk what to do, bc i dont want to hurt either of them if he ever asks me, which i know he would never do ask me but u never know.

-o n my friend moved so she doesnt go to our school anymore, though i am...i also dk about his ex who im some what friends with who does go to our school..thx

it seems that you have to decide what is more important to you right now, your friends or your guy. but if u want to date him:

1- yes, you should give him a chance
2- i dont know.....
3- you have to tell her that she needs to be content with the guy she has!! if you like him... thats your perrogative, and it makes you feel better. dont sweat it

Q: i'm a runner, but lately i have been lazey and i don't want to come home from school and run... but i love it and i am really good... now that my coach is hurt he won't be running for 3 weeks so i have to find a way to motivate myself since he is like my only running friend that calls practices and stuff. How can i motivate myself more? thanks

Q: Ok. My freind has a boyfriend and i suport them on that. But i feel like i am being used. like.. my friends boyfriend (who is my good friend) calls me and then we call her. and I ask if she is there. and when i have to hang up they still talk. tell ur friend that she needs to tell her mother. sooner or later her mom will find out and it will be much worse. tell her that you wont do it anymore-- she really truely needs to level with her mother before things get out of hand.

you can try to be more like the people in their group, start befriending one of the ppl in the group. but i reccomend that you just try to be yourslef,m because its better to be alone sometimes then try to be what your not and always be surrounded. one day you wont be so happy wit it.

Q: I went out with this kid name Joesph and before we went out I thought I really liked him. Well for X-Mas he bought me a diamond ring! I was like OMG we were going out for about a week. Well actually the thing was I did like him but he ANNOYED ME! He was sooo clingy and he fricken bought me a ring..it's sweet and all but over the top! Well I made an excuse up and told him that I was punished...I just wanted a break basically and if I wanted to get with him again I would tell him I wasn't punished anymore.I didn't want to hurt his feelings so I told him that I was punished. So like I was missing him and he liked me for a while and then started saying how he misses his EX GF!! omg *tear*! She won't go back out with him but still. Well I can't help it and I have been i guess annoying lately and I talked to my brother about it and he told me to back off of him and not be clingy and he will eventually figure out how much he misses me. So for a few days I did and then I called him this one day and he ended up getting mad at me so now he isn't speaking to me at all!! I apologized over and over again I miss him soo much and want him back...I don't think I could stand to see him with another girl! Anyone know what I should do?? Also..I have another quick question..it seems the only reason I always get hurt is because I crush so hard over any guy I go out with!! Anyone help me there?

aww girl...im so sorry but you should have screwed around with his feeling in the first place. so now it may be hard to reconstruct what has been damaged. but we'll sure try.

you need to talk to him, and say that you understand why he might want to break up with him, but tell him that isnt what you want, how much you love and need him, and how your there to talk if he still loves you, then give him some space and call him back or im him or something in like two or three dyaz. i hope it works out for you girl!!

Q: Here is the thing I have this one friend that seems to always be ditching me for other people or her boyfriend like for example sunday we planned we would go shopping on tuesday and come to find out she went monday with some other people and didn't even tell me or invite me. And now today (tuesday) she is doing something with her boyfriend that she planned yesterday and didn't tell me she wanted to do that then go to the mall cause if she told me I would be fine with it. But i found all that out on my own. And I am always inviting her places ( that she drops out on), I tell her when i can't do something with her, and i don't ditch her for other people with out atleast telling her and I even invite her with us ( when she never does that for me) so all in all i feel like she is using me but the thing is I really like her as a friend we are almost best friends at times but i just want to know what can i do or say to her about this with out her getting mad. HELP thanks i will rate high if it is good.

P.S. she is always turning things around so it is my fault or problem and it makes me look bad

wow, im srry but that girl isnt your friend. you should ditch your plans a few times, then maybe gradually stop taking her phone calls, and then call her one day and ask her why she hasnt called. but seriously, she isnt the hottest friend to have. even though it may be hard, you need to find a new friends, becaused you shouldnt have to deal with that crap. when she really needs you, she'll just use you and then forget you for the other half of the time. you dont need frends like that hunny!! its ok to move on, especially if ur so called friend is treating you like crap!!

lol, j/k. i would never say that. but i stick with my famous point of being yourself. although it is a lot of blah blah, its true, because if you dont act yourself then you will get a relationship based on what you wish you were, and then when you realize that you are fine with how you are, then you'll want to break the relationship off and he wont understand why. so dont get a remedial boyfriend either.

talk to him IN PERSON about it and take control of the conversation. you have to talk to him about it sometime, so the sooner the better.you ccant just let him change the subject or else you are showing that it is not that serious.

Q: I have mad wavy hair and its really poofy sometimes not to mention frizzy. My birthday is coming up in a few days and i was thinking of getting it straightened because it would probably look better. What is everyones opinion on this because some people told me that it drys out your hair and makes it fall out? Is that true?

no it doesnt!! mann, why people say that i will never know. i always get mi hair straigtened. but, if you do, you have to be prepared with what to do with it. its ok, your hair wont fall out any more then it does now with you trying to put a brush through your nappy hair.

Q: Sorry this is long but i'm really confused about what this dream means..her it is:
I was at this place that i had supposedly walked to from my house. It was completley empty except for one or two mirrors on the wall. I saw this guy that i know named Eric standing next to me and he was hugging me and we were looking in the mirror. Then all of a sudden i had to go, then as soon as i said that he disappeared. I had to get the keys to lock the doors so i ran upstair that appeared from nowhere. Then came back down and it was raining or gloomy outside. So i left the place and locked it up. As I was walking down the street i saw this bald fat guy behind me coming toward me slowly with a bat. I was trying to run but i couldnt i ran to slow and he picked up the bat and swung it and hit me in the back of the head. I suddenly awoke. Then i fell back asleep and I was behind a store where there was trash flying around it was humid and i had just came out of a glass door, and locked the place up again. Then the same guy climbs over the fence and watches me and comes toward me slowly and I tried to run again and again and again and i was motionless i felt like i was locked in the same place and the guy kept getting closer and suddenly he hit me in the head with the bat he carried with him. I awoke again and it was very hard to fall back asleep.

ok, who is eric? this dream might be saying that you want to get close to this guy, but you dont realize it yet. and also, you could feel trapped by someone close to you and might think that the choices they are forcing on you are cramping your lifestyle, and while you just want to return to how things were, they are making desicions for you and you feel as if you or your career or whatever they are cramping is going to figuratively 'kill' it.

either that or you just was having a bad sleep and couldnt get into REM so your mind took two opposite thing and put them together and gave you a lil nightmare. it happens.

it depends. you can wear just about any pants as long as you have the right shoes. even pink pants will look ok. just as long as you have the right accesories...lol

Q: Hello all advicenators, My question is about relationships, ok heres the story, I met this guy about a week or so ago and he seemed to be really sweet and everything and well I got his phone number from him that night and i've called him and hes sent me online messages saying he likes me but the thing is, he keeps blowing me off, whenever I am on the phone with him and I think i'm talking to him it ends up being his friend and he would tell me online to call him and I get offline just so I can call him and right when I get on the phone with him a couple of mins later he says hes busy and that he cant talk and I just feel like he's blowing me off, and I dont know what to do, should I stop calling him and talking to him all together or how could I find out whats really going on when he tells me hes not avoiding me or blowing me off when it really seems like he is, if anyone has any ideas on what I can do please let me know, I need all the help I can get...Thanks...I'll Rate High!-Signed Confused

talk to him straight out about how you feel and how you know he feels and that even though its gonna be rough, you love him and will do all you can to help keep the rest of the family together. And tell him that he is still your dad and that you need him. dont be afraid to shed a few tears- this is an emotional time.
