I'm going christmas shopping for all of my friends tommorow. I know what to get all of my close friends that are girls, but I really don't know what to get my best guy friend. It's actually kind of sad because I've known him for almost 5 years, but I am seriously clueless on what to get him. Can someone please tell me what guys like as gifts, that isn't priced over $25, besides gift cards? Thanks!
Get him some like really smelly good stuff. Guys do in fact like to smell good! And there's some nice stuff out there that smells good but isnt totally over-priced!

I have this really annoying neighbour that lives in my appartment complex.
I feel that she is just trying to use me. This is what happened. I ran into her when I went to check my mail. She asked me if I knew anyone who would want her budgie(a bird in a cage). I said I couldnt think of anyone and that she should put an add in the paper. She told me that would be too expensive. Then she asked me if I could give her and her bird a ride to the SPCA. She doesnt have a car. I really didnt want to and told her it would have to be another day. She told me she would try another person who had a car.
Well she just knocked on my door. She said she couldnt get a hold of this other person and needed a ride tomorrow afternoon. I told her I couldnt and that I would be working (which is true). I thought she would leave me alone but then she had the nerve to say, "Well WHEN CAN YOU GIVE ME A RIDE TOMORROW"? AND WHAT TIME DO YOU START WORKING"? I wanted to tell her off but I live in a small building and didnt want people to bad mouth me. So I caved in and now I have to drive her and her stupid bird to the SPCA tomorow at 11. She didnt even offer to give me any gas money!! I don't even like her, she's a nosy old bag and always asks my when I'm going back to finsih my college degree and should move back in with my parents. I also heard on the weather channel that we are getting freezing rain tomorrow, and it's a bad road up there. Am I overreacting or is this lady just using me?
No.. you are TOTALLY not over-reacting & I have to congradulate you on being so nice. I would have already went off on her.. but yeah. She is just using you. Just tell her the truth & I mean, you said the apartment complex was some what small & the people would bad mouth you, I really wouldnt care. That's THEIR problem, not your's & I dont see any of them offering to be so kinda as to take her & her bird anywhere.

Lately, I have had no purpose. I don't join after school activities and I don't really like to do many things outside of school. I just saw this movie saved and it got me thinking about thing. I never really was that into religion. I mean my family never went to church and we basically never practiced. I just want to start being a better person and starting up things to help others. Does anyone have anyideas?
Yeah.. sports are an AWESOME way to get involved, and if you dont like sports, you could like join a club or something. Get a hobby. Like you could tutor or if it's your friends who are not influencing you, ask 4 encouragement & motavation. I'm sure they'll totally be there for you 110%!
About religion, well, I go to church like everytime I can.. & I mean, I'm a christian & I love praying, although I dont always follow through with being the person I need to be, but I mean, I have friends who like never go to church because they are weird, haha, no. They just dont really know about God & all & how wicked cool he is, but yeah. Church is soo great, you should give it a try!

It's over." You just can't do that! It's really mean! Say something like, "Baby, I think we need some time apart for a little while." Or sumthin. I'm sure she'll live.

hey, i'm 13/f and weigh 95.. Ive been wanting to lose weight because im really skinny but my theighs and butt are really big. So I started not eating wendy's/mcdonalds/burger king/soda/desserts.. I've been doing that for about a month and I havent lost any weight, so I started exercising daily after every meal. I did that for about 2 weeks.. and still, I didnt lose any weight. Should I just go back to eating everything I normally would because eating healthy isnt doing anything and exercising isnt doing anything and I want to keep my metabolism high! what do I do?
Yeah.. if I were you I'd go back to eating normal. But I mean if you only weigh 95lbs.. WOW! But I mean.. if you still think your booty & thighs are big, then try doing exercises that target that area.

Ok! I SOO can relate! My sister Amy went out with this guy Brad for like 4 years & she broke up with him for this grungy alcoholic, Jeff. Jeff was really sweet & all but I totally loved Brad & so did my parents. So one day I asked Amy why she broke up with Brad & she's like, "Stephanie, he would beat me." And I liked FLIPPED OUT cause Brad just didnt look like that type of person. So just talk to your sister about it.

Please don't judge me on this, I'm not nearly as materialistic as I sound here.
Here's the short version:
Last Valentine's day, my guy gave me this really pretty antique ring. This past August, he basically proposed, but didn't have enough money for a real engagement ring or promise ring, etc. He's been working like crazy in general, earning like seven bucks an hour, so I know he has some amount of money.
Is there a way to hint to him that I want a "real" ring before we go to college? I want to be able to flash it in case any guys get any ideas...
He knows my ring size now, and I know his, so theoretically we could buy each other rings.
But how do I suggest this without seeming...I dunno...like "Buy me things!"
'Cause I mean maybe as stupid as it is, I do want a real promise ring. The ring he gave me is starting to tarnish, and it doesn't quite fit on my finger.

I sooo think you should be like "Baby, I want to get you a promise ring & I thought it'd be kinda coll if we went together & bought matching ones." Or something of that nature. Just explain to him the situation like you did here. Just be like, "Well, it's not that i dont trust you & I dont want other guys hitting on me because I love you & you're the only one for me." Or something but I think you should tell him & if he loves you, he'll understand & buy you the ring.
