If she has to talk about other people in a derogatary manner then she's not interesting at all, unlike you're likely to be if you're such a outgoing person!

Pretty much the only explanations for this happening is that you're pregnant, or underweight.

Most STIs don't cause this, so get a pregnancy test and if it's negative, see a doctor as it could be something more serious.

Q: I'm 16/f. I get angry very very easily about the tiniest of things.
A guy friend of mine has a habit of vandalising peoples things as a joke when they leave there desk. I knew he would look through my wallet of take something as a joke when I went to leave the room so I took it with me.
Anyway, when I came back I found he had drawn all over my school diary. It made me really angry. Another close guy friend of mine was sitting between us two. He said I looked like I was going to kill him. Anyway I took a sharp compass out of my pencil case and pretended to whipser into the ear of the guy who was sitting next to me. The other boy who drew on my stuff leaned over to lister and as he did so I violently lunged at him and stabbed him with the compass. He bled for about half an hour and he was in a lot of pain. Whenever I get really angry I have fantasies about stabbing the person who did it to me and I have a history of self-cutting. Today when I stabbed that boy I felt so good. it was one of the best feelings I've ever had. It released all my anger and hate and the boy is now incredibly scared of me. Is this normal? I don't think it is. And now that I have had a taste of stabbing someone I want to keep doing it and I don't think I can stop.

I think you should be worried that your anger is getting out of control.

The best solution would be anger management councelling, obviously, but a lot of people who have difficulty with excessive anger find that finding an outlet activity can help...

So if you absolutely can't afford councelling I would suggest taking up maybe a sport or something to let out your energy in.

I really think that councelling would help you though, especially with a history of self harming, so please try to get some.

Q: Hello,
I have a little problem that seems to be hard to figure out. I thought i would find out some advice from someone else. I have had the same girlfriend for the last 2 years now and im 110% sure she's "The One". We have had some hard times together and been able to over come everyone of them. We want to move in together around next June 16th but inorder for this to happen we both need to be working now to save up money to move in together. I work in the morning from 8:00 to 3:00 and then 3 nights a week i have classes at the college from 5:00 to 9:00. She's in her last year of High School and has school from 7:45 to 3:30. Then she has work 4 days a week from 4:00 to 9:00. Which leaves about 3 hours a night to talk to eachother but i dont think she'll be able to stay up til 1:00 AM then have class and work. We would have wednesday and friday and saturday to spend together but i think she'll be to worn out from the week to stay up. What should we do?!?!?

You could spend Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays just relaxing together, lying in really late, just chatting, appreciating one another. You'll have plenty of time to stay up late and do more exciting things once you've moved in together.

Don't forget that the school holidays will free up a bit more of her time- you'll both still be working but she won't have as much homework to do etc...

My advice is not to lose touch with each other while you're working so hard, otherwise you'll move in with someone you hardly know anymore! Send her silly love notes and texts or something like that ^^

Just got my ears pierced, I know you're not supposed to take the earings out for like six weeks because they can close up, but I was wondering why you cant even take them out for a few minutes to clean them. Can they close up that fast?

When I got my ear (tregus) pierced, I found that the best thing to do was this (I did it for my lobes too):

Make up a warm salt water solution, take a cotton bud and clean around the front of the stud, getting as much of the solution into the front of the hole as you can.

Then remove the butterfly back off the earring, and put loads of the solution on the back, tilt your head a bit so it goes through the hole. Wipe away with a dry cotton bud, removing any pus (pus is perfectly normal, it's the body healing itself).

Clean the back off in the solution- pus can really easily get stuck in the butterfly style backs.

I know this sounds a lot for simple ear piercings, but I've had lobes, tregus and lip pierced and trust me, piercing hygeine is SO important.

It's a quiff, and you pull the front bit of your hair... Your fringe (sorry, bangs, I'm English lol) or the bit that would be your fringe (bangs) if you had one cut in, pull it back, twist it, push it forward (push the twisted bit flat along your head without flipping the hair over onto your face, if you get me) and clip it.

It'll take a couple of practises but once you've got the hang of it you'll be doing it in a couple of seconds!

You can also do them flat by not twisting and pushing it.

I think you should really be proud of yourself for being brave enough to go! LOADS of people wouldn't.

I think, because you're a bit older, the students are likely to be intimidated by you because you're A Proper Adult. They're used to adults being in authoritive positions.

Try and let them see your personality a bit, without trying act too young for them; be yourself! Chances are the more mature students will be drawn to you as you're not immature like some of their contempories, yet because you're emo you'll be able to relate to youth culture.

If it so happens that you never meet anyone you fit in with, stick with it.
You're doing this for yourself, so don't let some snidey kids get in your way.

I'm 5'3" and I'm 17 and finished growing!

There's nothing wrong with being this short.

To grow more, you need to make sure you eat healthily and get lots of sleep- you should do this anyway to be healthy! Also don't start smoking.

If you don't grow much more (I reckon you'll end up about 5'6" as it is) then you'll have to live in a shorter than your ideal body.

AND THAT'S FINE.
Feel comfortable in your skin, no matter your height :D xxx

Q: I recently dyed my hair. However, I used temporary dye and it only lasted for about two weeks.

Are there any ways of making temporary dye last longer? I heard that there are some shampoos that don't wash the color away, but I don't know if this is true or not.

It helps if your hair is dirty (not horribly greasy though) when you dye it.

Some hair just doesn't take to non-permenant dye, though... If your hair isn't ver porous, not enough of the dye is going to get into the hair to keep it coloured for longer.

Obviously colour-care shampoos are going to help, but I agree with the person below me, if you loved the colour non-permenantly, why not try dying your hair permenantly? xxx

ok my older sister is married and has two kids which makes them my neice and nephew and i've never even got to meet them my nephew is almost two and yeha i really want to see my sister and my brother-in-law and my neice and nephew i havent seen my sister or brother-in-law in like 2 or 3 maybe even almost 4 years well they live in Hawaii and i live in Wisconsin but she always takes time to go to texas or california to see my brother-in-laws family we've asked her to come ou here but she always goes to texas or something how can i make it clear that i want to see her i mean we've all told her we want to see her you know but she doesnt listen and doesnt get that me and my other sister nad my mom and dad and grandma miss her now my mom has got to see her like 3 times cause she's flown out there my grandma spent like 3 months there and my dad has seen them two me and my sister are the only ones who havent seen them and me and my sister used to be kinda close i mean we had lots of fun together she would take us to the pool or go iceskating or stuff like that and we would just like dance to music and stuff but since she got married and stuff we havent done anything like that and i really miss her but i dont know why but i cant be like emotional with my family it's just kinda weir but i want to make it clear to her that i miss her and that i wanna see her and that i'm mad at her for always seeing by brother-in-laws family

Tell your sister how much you miss her, email her, write her a letter, etc.

You could even tell her how much you've been thinking about old times- include a few stories to make her realise how good being close was.

HOWEVER, when you tell her how much you miss her, don't emphasise how much it hurts that she sees her husband's family, because that might make her feel like you're attacking him.
You need to make sure she knows that you've accepted their relationship and that you're willing for him to share a little bit of the closeness you used to have as sisters.

You sound so blase about being bulimic!!

It's really not healthy, whether you see blood in your vomit or not.

Bulimia is an illness, and you need to try to get better, you can talk to your doctor confidentially if you don't feel comfortable talking to your parents and friends.
