Monthly period I skipped my period last month, and have not been sexualy active for the last few months. Is there an explanantion for this as its the first time this has happened. Can an infection causes this as well?

The person below me is WRONG. Yes, you could be skipping a period because you are pregnant, but there are other explanations. As for infections and STD's, I don't think they stop your periods. Being underweight can stop periods, but things like stress, diet changes, life style changes, sleep changes, etc etc. So before you start worrying about being pregnant, go take a test! Otherwise, chill out, lol. ]
These factors can cause you to skip period:
Low body fat
Underweight
Stress
Lack of sleep
Malnutrition
Food deprivation
Vigorous activities

Pretty much the only explanations for this happening is that you're pregnant, or underweight.
Most STIs don't cause this, so get a pregnancy test and if it's negative, see a doctor as it could be something more serious.
Good luck. xxx ]
