okay theres this club called "People to People." My friend told me about it, and I thought it would be cool so I nominated myself for it. My sister already was nominated by somebody else.. and yeah its possible to just nominate yourself so I did, and now I can go to a meeting. My problem is.. my friends who have been in People to People (this year we get to go to Japan!) say you have to do this interview.. um has anybody else been in People to People and knows what the interviews are like? cause a lot of people want to get to go on the trip and I'm dying to go to Japan.. I've wanted to go there my whole life, because when I was younger I really liked Japanese stuff.. I mean I guess I've already been to quite a lot of places. I was born in London, my parents are from Cameroon and I've visited Cameroon.. I have a very interesting childhood and I'm a pretty interesting , fun, hardworking person. I think I am a perfect canidate.. but Im not sure.. would they want people who havent been to places to get to go to People to People? my dad says he will pay for me and my sister if we get in (yeah we know its expensive but its worth it) but its not like my family is millionaires and can afford to go to amazing places like ALL the time.. so the experience would be...REALLY special. please help.. and thanks SO much for your time. :) (link)

wow. what a coincedence, i asewell am part of the people to people porgram.
i did my interview over the phone, and it was really easy. They'll ask you questions about school family, goals, and you hobbies. The important thing i s to be polite and be yourself. remeber to relax, and answer honestly.

if you feel attracted to bothe sexes it may mean that you a bi-sexually, and there is nothing wrong with. you might just be at that point in time where you are confused. it happens all the time. just give it time.

My bff is acting strange lately. She used to always want to hang out with me and our other friends but now, she attempts to sit with the "popular" kids and ignores us in the hallways. But as soon as we leave school she's like "wanna go to my house?" and we don't want to hurt her feelings by saying no. so we say yeah. But then once we get to her house she starts gossiping, which we(me and other friends) don't like. She talks about people. and sometimes we wonder why she does. She is turing into one of them(populars) it is getting old.
We know that the populars don't like her at all cause she's constantly saying "oh i am fat" and "my hips are HUGE" and no one likes that. So she is pretty much trying to become something that she probly will never be and we are getting anoyed.
Well my question is how can i explain to her that what she's doing is anoying us? i mean i tried telling her that she was annoying us but she says that "your a dork! you don't know what cool is! and what i am doing is the definition of cool" not even kidding she said that exact thing to me. And to our other friends and now they(friends) don't wanna be around her!!
What can i do before she loses all her REAL friends forever? (link)

okay, well i am an expert at this subject b/c a year back my absolute best friend tried to be one of the populars and succeded.she completely ditched me, and became one of the mean, snotty popular girls. When you friend says "oh, i am fat" that doesn't mean that the populars don't like her at all. You need to remeber not to push her away any more, sit her down and explain to her gently exactaly what you explained in this question. tell her how much she means to you, and don't try to act like it doesn't bother you. Don't pitty her either, that will make her sooooooo mad. just try to see things the way she does.after a month with the popular girls my best friend came back to me, and apologized, and now we are closer than we ever were. Reason with her and remind her that your friendship is the most important thing

hey, i neeed some helllp. hahah obv. :) but like i'm 13; 14 in a week; and i was just wondering what the average weight for me is, becuase i'm 107 lbs. i'm not skinny; but i'm not heavy; i'm not slow; but i'm not super fast. i'm average. haha i wanna get fit! and i also have a not so small buttt? and it doesnt go good with my body structure. it looks like its fit for a girlw with a not so flat stomach. buti have a kinda flat stomach... that needs to get fit too. ahah so is there also a way to get a better butt? hahaha. i'll accept websites to if anyone responds to this. I want to sing a song for my mom's wedding (in October), but I can't seem to find one. I'm an alto, so it's hard for me to find songs to sing since it seems like every female singer has a super high voice. I was thinking about singing my own version of "Hero" by Enrique Iglesias (their song), but I'm not sure. Does anyone know of any songs I could sing? A list would be awesome : ) (link)

ok i am kevin burkett i am 13 years old me and my gf have been going out for 1 year and a half.
she has these two friends and they are guys they both like her and recently she told me she liked one of them but she still loved me and it took me a while to get over it cause this is not the first serious thing that has happend. and i am trying to get them to stop talking she want stop i have asked her multible times and she want give them up. she said they are her friends and that that she is not going to stop talking to them.
do you think that it is wrong for me to try to get her to stop talking to them? (link)

yes. pushing her friends away from her will push her away from you. Becasue the truth is no matter how in love a girl may be in with you or anyone else good friends are the most important thing

hey..well, my friend and i are both 15/f. and we have an a.p euro class together. well, there we take notes. the teachers lectures us. and my friend was absent last week for one day. i took about like 45 pages of notes that day. not even kidding. and now she's asking me to scan them and give them to her. should I? I really don't want to. I know she's my friend and all. But I consider this course a strict "only study yourself" course. like, don't help people out, or you're gonna get stuck yourself. I don't know what to do. I would like to help a friend. But scanning 45 pages of the notes that *I* worked so hard on, listening to him and gathering info on. And letting her HAVE it without any effort on her part...well that's not very fair. And plus, when I used to ask her for help, she rarely helped me.

I'm getting my friend one of those broken heart necklaces that says best friends for her birthday. And the only place I could think to look was James Avery and I found one. But I want to look at some other ones...so are there any places like James Avery that have those necklaces that I could look at?

ive been trough many relationships, im a nice guy siriously, well every girl ive gone out with well they all ended up being bitches or something like that and they all broke up with me for dumb reasons like we wern't french kissing by our third day of going out and stuff like that, but this year i met this girl i thought she was different she told me she liked me but that she couldnt have a boyfreind till shes 16 so i told her i would wait, a few weeks later she told me she rather be freinds i told her it was alright but the other day i found out she has a boyfreind already, my point is, it there any girls out there who arent like that who are nice, pretty smart, and have a great personality? or why is it so hard to find someone like that? there are a lots a nice, smart, pretty, girls with a nice personality you just need to keep trying to find one. You won't find love the first girl you meet.( Weird Metaphor lol )" if u don't try out different ice creams how will you know which one is your favorite? hi, well you cant smoke marihuana and drink alcohol at the same time can you? someone told me you cant, so how long would i have to wait after ive smoked the marijuana, to drink alcohol. thanks.
