hi, i just want to know if anyone has some really good shooting tips for basketball. im a great player on defence but mmy shootings only like80 percent please help

i went to a privet coach for years, and now i am one of the best players on my teams- when you shoot, make sure you are not shooting from your chest, rather shoot from your forhead-its called a delayed jumper, you jump, bringing the ball up to about where your forehead is- and remain in that position until you are at your highest point, and release. It will take tons of practice and it only works if you are a really good jumper, but thats how you make your shot better then almost anyone's

online-hmm, thats not ever somthing that I personally would say, but i do know people who joke like that, so it is a very good chance he is telling the truth, if he does it again, talk to him, if not, forgive and forget (is there such a thing though? lol)

Have any of you ever felt like you couldnt like someone becasue his friends that are girls dont like you? Well thats the situation im in. I like this boy and im not sure if he likes me but hes always telling me how hot i am and stuff. His friends that are girls dont really like me and i kinda dont like them either, well atleast one of his friends that are girls. Shes such a bitch and i find it kinda hard to like him now becasue they would say bad things about me to him.

ok, in this possition, i would be the guy, (i am friends with all girls) and you know what, you just dont tell them that you like him, but tell him (if you feel you really need to tell them) then ask him to not tell them. Depending on how he is, he may, he may not. But thats only the first step, the second step is-well first off, you have to like challenges if you want this guy, because its going to be a challenge to get him to like you, as you said, they would more than likely say bad things about you, or atleast laugh when they hear it if they dont like you that much. But to tell you the truth, that shouldnt affect him THAT much, usually most guys go by what they feel, and 85-90% of the time, a girl who likes them and tells them, they will like them too, unless he is goin for another girl. so, if you want me to repeat the steps then continue reading:
Step #
1) tell him you like him, guys dont like clues, we are too dumb to really notice (yes i will freely admit that)
2) tell him you would prefer the other girls not knowing because-then tell him your explanation, he should be understanding
3) try to make him notice you but dont try TOO hard, but just say hi, or wave to him, there is the chance that he could act like you are the geekiest person in the world, but usually, thats a covor up
4) do not do anything to make him not be interested, dont worry about what the girls say, like i said, guys dont usually listen to girl's gossip about other girls, we could pretty much care less...so dont do anything so bad that HE would notice it

I don't usually cut myself, but something really bad happened, and I did it again. I know it's wrong, but I was going through a rough time, and I don't plan on doing it again, but anyways, I have to attend a pool party, but how do I cover up the marks, from my wrist up to high up the arm. theres a few of them. please help me cover them up. actaully, to tell you the truth, and i dont want to sound like some retarded doctor that doesnt know what is going on (i never listen to them) but truthfully, use Neosporine *its prolly spelled wrong* or if your parents, or you (im not sure who old you are) get the off brand, then use triple antibiotic ointment, it heals it quicker and it doesnt make scars, or depending on how bad it is, then it reduces them a bunch!

Ok, so i have a boyfriend, pico and i like him and he likes me but it just seems like hes gettin kinda like too obsessive and i want to break up with him but i don't want to break up with him and i don't know what do do....please help me!

well...comming from a guy, i get the impression that my girlfriend feels ALMOST the same about me, about obesessive...but all i do is what i think i should be doing during a relationship, and thats giving her attention. That is probably all he is trying to do, give you the attention that he deserves, and (this is my opinion) i would think it is absolutly crap to get dumped cause my girl doesnt get that i am doing all i can. All i would want her to do is talk to be about it, thats what you should prolly do to him, tell him that you know he isnt, but you get the feeling he is obsessive and you would like him to "calm down" as my girl said it. Then go a lil slower. Ok, with him supposably flirting with your friend, 99.999999% of the time that a girl flirts with a guy, especally if he is half attractive and used to girls flirtin with him, he will flirt back, its instinct, ive done it, i know other guys do it, its just...i dunno, habit for lack of better word...so try not to get bent out of shape because of it, and everything else he does, well i would take advantage of it, i get really mad whenever my girl ignores me and i do all i can to get her attention, she takes a little advantage, but she doesnt ever give me anything back, if you want to keep him happy (this is down the road info) then give him some attention too, and if you are really getting irritated with him, just tell him you wanna take a break, not break up, just go a few months without really talking or seeing each other, that way you have time to truly think about what you want to do... OR if all else fails, do what i do...flip a coin, God will provide the answers, you just have to look...

I think that i may have an ear infection and i'm wondering do i have to take out the ear rings let it close or can it heal eventually?

im not too sure about the earings, i doubt it, but if you ever want to check and see if you have an ear infection, then just pull your earlobe and if it hurts, then you have one and should see a docter, or if it doesnt, then its just a cold or pretty much anything BUT and ear infection so, you shouldnt really need to worry about it...

is it bad to leave your cell phone on while you are charging it?

i need some backup for this:
this "Gangsta rap" dude at school slapped one and punched another girl in the middle of the hallway two days ago. needless to say he got suspended. I work with one of the girls and the guy. he is a lazy grocery bagger, she's also a bagger.
Question: need opinions from both sexes on the issue of "guys can't hit girls". personally, i want to thrash him within an inch of his life, as do most of the other guys i have talked to. is that a bad thing?
other info: he's done it before, and has had his ass kicked multiple times for it.

it is completley immoral to hit girls!(this opinion is from a guy) number one (and im not tryin to bash any girls, this is just life) they are so much more sensative than boys are, girls will do somthiung and go cry to their friends and guys will just say "yeah....whatever" number 2 they are weaker than we are, naturally and if guys weight lift you really need to be careful. so if that answers your question, it is completly immoral and if i saw someone hit/smack/puch a girl i would hit them so hard they would think they were a girl!

I've always felt that there was no need to be in a relationship at my age(14) but i was just asked out and i think i have fallen in love. but my mother tells me there is no way you can fall in love so young. do you think its possible to fall in love at such a young age? if you dont think so what do you think i should do, i dont want to dump him or anything, but i dont want to waste my time and energy

im sure this happens very rarely, but your mother is wrong, unfortunatly, very wrong... you can fall in love, you know exactly when you do too. you are when you start questioning "am i really in love?" that is when you are. you can show her this if you want, but if you cant fall in love, then how are you supposed to love her? i mean im sure you love your parents, or your friends, its a differant kind of love, but its all "love". I fell in love in the 6th grade with someone, and guess who im with right now... the same person, and my love has only gotten stronger. so yeah, you can fall in love!

a caddy is carrying the golfer's golf bag. I go in at about 6 30 in the morning and 90% of the time i get out at about 2 or 3 in the afternoon. The only problem is, it is a lot of work. but, all you really need to do is haul the golfer's bag, give him his clubs that he asks for, and talk to him, and thats about it, any other questions, or if i didnt explain it good enough then tell me

Okay, well I have been talking to this guy for over a year. We get together almost every weekend. We tell each other everything. Here's the problem ..lol I like him ALOT and he knows it. He tells me he loves me and we talk on the phone everday we can't see each other. (he lives in a diff. city like 30 min. away) He tells his friends he likes me. But then again we fight a lot. But they never last long and we are cool again within a few min.(the fighting has stopped now unless we are joking around)He has turned down other girls because we are *talking*. But he hasn't asked me to be his girlfriend yet. Do you think he will or am I wasting my time?

i would continue to wait, and think of things to talk about that can kinda "set the stage" for him asking you out. being a guy, who already has a girl, im still kinda plotting my first kiss because i want it to be the perfect moment... thats also how i was for asking her out (it was on her front doorstep at night, when we dropped her off) so just think of topics that you can almost clue him that your ready...

do you like golf? cause if you do, or even if you understand it, im a caddy and i get paid about $3,600 per summer, hte only thing is, thats every weekend and i carry 2 bags, so im not sure, but the summers i only carry 1 bag, (every weekend) i got like 900 or so, so its still really good money, all you need to do is look up country clubs near you. Yes, i do know girls who are caddies, and they enjoy it, so on top of anything else you find, that income would help out tremendously...

Every afternoon in school for about 2 weeks I get really bad stomach Aches. I have no idea why. If i go home and go to sleep for like even a half hour they get better. Is there like a reason for this or somthing.

lack of sleep, it happens to me too when i get to bed around 1 or 2 at night then get up at 6. You need to start getting to bed really really early. Then when you get home, finish your homework and go to bed, you will feel much much better!

wow, this is really funny how this works, just a few months ago, i was that guy... when (my girlfriend now) would flirt with other guys i would get so jelous!
Well, what you need to think about is do you like him? cause if you do, then i would talk to him and tell him that you like him and when he seems jelous that you flirt with other guys, he leads you on thinking that he likes you. If he still denies to liking you, then you cant really worry about it, move on to the next guy...
If you do not like him, then tell him that he is seeming to get jelous... bla bla bla... and then if he admits to it, then atleast give him a chance, im not even saying go out with him, im saying try to like him and such. If it doesnt work out, then you cant do anything about it. if he says no to him liking you again, then your going to have to try to ignore it as much as you can, and occasionally (if it continues) ask him if he likes you, if he starts to get annoyed with you asking, then wait a little while. Also if you ask enough, he will prolly spill the beans...

I feel a bit awkward using this site.. I've never asked anyone for advice like this before.. I'm a 15 year old male, and I've been with my girlfriend for about 8 months. She works at a pizza shop and is surrounded by other people. A few weeks ago a worker from a different location was transferred to her shop.. She got along very well with him. I saw her that weekend and she seemed a little subdued, I tried to talk to her about it, but she said she was fine.. I tried to call her the following evening, but she didn't pick up her phone, nor her mobile.. I was pretty worried.. and I'm known to be a very worrying and fragile type person..

Anyway, the day after, I called her and found out that she had been at the movies with this guy.. She told me it was as a friend.. but later that night when she went to work, he kissed her.. this really upset me.. And she said she was very sorry and would stop seeing him..

However, one day, the following week, I tried to call her, and she wasn't there.. I stayed up until about 1 or 2 in the morning, calling her, untill she finally picked up.. Having been out with him again.. She is very truthful to me, and said that she was just seeing him as a friend, and didn't tell me because she knew I'd get upset.

She said to me that she loves me, and likes him, but she doesn't know what she wants.. I really can't take being strung along like this.. I'm naturally a very sensitive person, and my music is no longer enough to keep me alive.. I'm not at school, I don't have a job, I have very little to hold me together.. I don't know if I can deal with this.. Can anyone help me?

i dont know exactly what you are going through, but i can picture it, and what i would do. you have to remember- your mind is the strongest part of your body. When your body screams for you to stop, then you can still push yourself to finishing. You know what i would do, act like you need to prove yourself again. you need to get her to notice you again, almost like your cooking up the nearve to ask her out again, but you want to make sure she likes you first, so you act extra good, do stuff with her and for her, and just really act like you want her to notice you. You already have a head start on this guy, like she said, she loves you and likes him. So you need to take that (im a football player so ill put it into that perspective) 10 yards you already have on him, and pick up the speed, so there is no way he can tackle you! If you 2 end up doing about the same thing, and getting her attention the same, then she will lean to you, you just have to remember, this is a battle, you dont want to lose. the meaning of life.... life means that you have a choice, a choice to live how your expected, or live the way people dont want you to. It means that you have an effect on what is going on, be it little or major. The meaning of life is a chance, a chance to get somthing that some people never got; the babies that have been aborted, the people that have been killed for whatever reason, and the babies that have been "miscarried" which is somthing that happens. That is the meaning of life, its about choices, effectiveness, and chances. And if you were thinking of ending either yours, or having somthing aborted, dont, because you will be ending somthing great. If you are/were goin through a hard time right now, and you do want to end it, then you need to hold on, let whatever bad thing that is happening. Also think of those who would be heartstruck if you did. And im hoping to God that you are getting really annoyed with me telling you this because the thought never crossed your mind, but i just want to make sure...
