Dear Readers:
I think my life experience is what qualifies me to write this column. I made every mistake imaginable. But have learned from them. Most important I still remember what it was like to be 12, 13, 14, 15, and so on. Currently I am a single mom, I have two wonderful boys. One in college. We are all happy emotionally. We love life, and know that you can too. I try to be the kind of parent that understands. I know that I can help you to understand where you parents are coming from, and help you get over the difficulties of being young. You can even have your parents write to me and I will help them to get over their fears and at least respect you and your feelings. I have been married and divorced twice, so I have experience in that field also. But now I own my own home, and my own business and am successful. Lots of luck to you! Hope to hear from you.

for physics
we were assigned a project
we have to pick an object or activity
and relate it back to physics
any ideas?
thanks (link)
|
Physics govern everything in the universe. The weight and shape of an ball determines how far and fast it will go when you throw it. The wind can also be a factor. Water will always, always find the lowest level to go to. Here is something interesting. Do you like baseball? The just built a brand new Yankee Stadium in NYC for the Yankees Baseball Team. For some reason they are hitting so many more home runs in that stadium, then they did in the old one. There have been articles written about it. It has to do with physics. Why not look that up.
Good luck to you

I got my financial aid package from Tufts today.
They're offering me about 37.5k for next year (out of an estimated 52k).
Problem is, that leaves about 15k for me to pay by myself.
I can't afford this and I dont' want to be knee-deep in loans by the time I get my Bachelors degree.
My question: is there any way of getting MORE financial aid or am I stuck with this? (link)
|
For now, I believe you are stuck with this. But that is an excellent financial aid package for a college like Tufts. Though new laws have passed thanks to the Obama administration. So there may be more financial aid for you next year. Be sure and keep your grades up. That can be a factor. And you payment options have definitely changed for the better. After graduation, once you start payments, the payments are not supposed to exceed more than 10% of your disposable income. That would mean your income after taxes.
Also there is something you can do after graduation that may help you eliminate a large portions of your loans. So look these up and save the info.
Teach For America, if you join, they have a student loan forgiveness package.(as much as 70%) Public Service Loan Forgiveness, if you become a civil servant,or in other words, go to work for the government, you can find loan relief with this program. And Income Based Repayment Plan. That is also a government plan. There will be new plans to look at once you graduate. Hopefully the economy will be better and there will be lots of jobs by the time you graduate. Good luck to you. You are on the right path.

Been taking the pill for a month - perfect no problems.
On Sunday had sex (took my pill on sunday morning at 8)
Took My Pill Again At 8 On Monday - Which Was Fine, It Was Also THE LAST pill in the pack
Then had sex on tuesday morning BEFORE the time I would of taken my pill - but didnt take my pill because I finished the packet.
Am I pregnant?
I have to wait 7 days - should get my period then - if I dont should I go to the doctors? (link)
|
WEll, you have only been on the pill for one month. Usually you have to be on it for a while to be sure that this dose will be right for you. Birth control pills come in different strengths. And wow, it has been so long since I have been on the pill, maybe doctors have figured out a way to ensure that you are on the right strength right away. If that is the case, then as long as you took your pill every morning at the same time, prior to that sexual encounter that occurred one morning before you took the pill, you should be OK. But only time will tell. As I said in the past, one month was not enough time to determine success with the pill.
I hope this helps. If you are lucky enough not to be pregnant, I think you should be more careful and use additional protection until you are sure that this dose is the correct one for you. One way that you can tell, is that you will have blood spotting during the month, between periods. If that occurs, it means that this pill is not strong enough for you.
Good luck dear.

what is masturbation? (link)

It is the act of self pleasuring yourself. But I can't tell from your question if you are male or female. And so the method is different.
Please ask the question again, and tell us if you are a boy or a girl.

How to lose your virginty unpainfully (link)
|
Do you mean physically or emotionally?
It wasn't painful for me, and I never had a friend tell me that it was physically painful for her either.
Now emotionally.....that's a whole different world. If you don't want to be emotinally scarred when you loose your virginity, then I suggest you wait until you are married, or at least engaged to be married to a serious young man who has expressed his love and a desire to make you happy.
Good luck

Sometimes I don't know who I am anymore. For the most part ive become a really sophisticated, goody good with really STRONG morals. I always do homework and go to church. I never -- cheat, steal, drink, cuss, smoke, do drugs, ditch school, party, sneak out, have sex, listen to rap, etc. But sometimes i get sick of being like that. Sometimes i just want to bust out my old dirty, rap collection and live life a little. But then later the goody/serious side of me DESPISES rap because its so degrading and disgusting. The thing is.. it's not about rap music. (That was just an example of how im like two different people within hours or days.) I really dont think i have a split personality or anything to that extreme. I just dont know who I am anymore. One part of me wants to stay moral, and the other part of me wants to break free and live. How do I find out who i truely am when both of these WAY DIFFERENT personalities keep showing? (link)

That is perfectly understandable. Those things are exciting, even if we don't agree with them, and if they are taboo, uh, (showing my age) I mean forbidden, then that makes them more exciting. And maybe it is you who have set up the "forbidden" part. But I still think you are on the right track, because this is a time in your life where you have to accomplish things so that you can be taken seriously when you are an adult. Work hard to make good grades, get ahead and the less time you take off for distractions, the better position you will be in to be successful.
Now that said. Once you do reach all of those goals, or are well on your way. You can induldge in these things, and no one will be there to judge you. You can enjoy them, but not loose track of your path in life. None of those things are bad when taken in the doses that don't interfer with your goals. I think that adults get so worried that we are going to stray off the path and go on to a life of depravity and mayhem. And it does happen.
That is something you'll understand when you have kids. Right now it sounds like you are doing the right thing, but you are too hard on yourself.
Here is one way to look at it. Rap music, partying, cussing, smoking.....those things are not leaving the planet. You can do them as much as you want later in life. As long as they don't cause you to loose yourself, your job, the respect of your family and friends, etc.
Hope this helps.

do you think it would be better if all men died out and only their sperm was saved so the female population would die out? We could eat the men and also reduce world hunger. Just think, Bush and Cheney would be gone along with all those other assholes. We could keep the gay, sensitive ones for the sperm, right?
what a perfect world it would be.
what do you think? (link)

Man, I hate to admit it, but I LIKE that idea!
I have felt that way myself, but couldn't put it into words. And I have been on this planet 57 years, so I know.
Maybe one day, women will run this plant, and then education, health care and clean drinking water will be more important than war, sports and beer.
Oh Oh. this is like..... turning into a blog.

I want to break up with my long distance relationship. There's no real reason..I honestly just don't feel like being in a relationship anymore. I live in the US, he in the Uk. I'm 19, he's 21. We've never met yet, been dating 8 months. He wants me to visit this summer.
I like him, but I don't love him. He LOVES me, he's actually obsessed. It freaks me out in a way. I tried breaking up with him earlier this week by using excuses about school, and he started crying for about 2 hours. So, I gave in. He told me he couldn't breathe, and that he'd come down here immediately and such. I don't WANT that, I'm scared if I break up with him that he'll show up at my door.
He's a very fragile guy, it took him 2 years to get over his ex, and he still talks about how he never thought he'd love again, blah blah, but then he found me. :/ I do like him, but I want to be free. I hate staying inside all day on the computer to talk to him, I want my life back. I know if I tell him this that he'll have some solution, like: you can go with your friends, or spend less time with me!
Basically, I don't want to be sucked in again. I want to break up with him, not lead him on with false hopes. Can you PLEASE tell me how to go about this? I've been struggling with it for about a month. I want to end it, cut all contact. But, what do I do when he starts crying? I'm not a heartless person, I don't know if I can just hang up on him. Ahh, please help!!! (link)
|
ANd he will continue to cry because it is gaining for him what he wants. You! But he did get over his last girlfriend even though it took two years. He didn't kill himself and eventually he found you. And eventually he will find someone else.
You are smart to want to break this off, and it is certainly understandable. But I am sorry, if he is going to be this sensitive about it, I don't see any way that you can do it that will make it less traumatic for him. But he is choosing to make it a "life or death" situation. And he is choosing to believe that he can't live wihtout out. He is making those choices. He can choose also, to be emotionally healthy and know that no one, absolutely no one, has the right to control another human being. This is America, and the have the same laws in the UK, you, girl, have the right to break this off if it is not working for you.
You are choosing to let him control you, so you have to choose to not let him do that anymore. You are not responsible for his happiness. This is a good lesson to learn for the future. You are not responsible for anyone's happiness, and no one is responsible for yours. If you can't be happy without a certain person in your life, then you are just like him and you'll make some guy crazy some day, when he wants to break it off.
SO you have to do this. It will make you stronger. You have rights, and you don't want to be in this realtionship anymore. And I strongly urge you to go through with this. Because he sound like an emotionally unstable person, and that is not what you want in a partner.
BUT HERE IS THE HARD PART. You may have to change ALL of your on-line identities. Your email, facebook, my space. EVERYTHING. Just close them all, and start all over again. I know that is a real pain. But I don't see how you can avoid him if you don't.
Look how silly you are being now. You are stuck in the house all day, at the computer because he gets upset when he is not talking to you, etc. etc. You are not chained to that chair. You are not locked inside that room. You are keeping yourself there. Turn it off, go out. Have a great time. And I don't think you are not a heartless person. He is heartless for trying to control you. Don't let anyone do that to you again.
This guy is trouble, thank your lucky stars that he does live all the way in the UK. There are a LOT of sick people out there honey, protect yourself. Take time to get to know someone.
You can try breaking it off, and hoping he won't bother you, but I think in the end, you'll have to close all your on-line social accounts, in order for him to get the message that you are no longer intersted in him.
A normal young man would understand that he has not right to expect anything from you that you are not willing to give, and ANYTIME you want to change a romantic relationship into one of just being FRIENDS, that is your right to do so. SO if you just date guys that respect you and respect that you have basic human rights....well they may be dissapointed to let you go too, but at least they will let you go.
Good luck to you dear.

where can i get glasses like this (not necessarily this color)? http://twitpic.com/1746xf (link)
|
Those look like prescription glasses, which she probably got through an optometrist's office. or a place like lenscrafters. Even most walmarts have optomotrist and eye glass centers. Try there.
Or you could try this website. They are VERY inexpensive. You'll have to search the site for glasses that you like.

I have a ridiculously old (4 yrs?) Compaq Presario notebook.
Recently, it's been starting to...not boot. If i press the ON button, all the lights that light up the buttons go on, but the screen stays dark. Nothing happens. No matter how long I leave it on for, the screen remains dark.
At times, however, it WILL boot and will run fine. Happens randomly.
Ubuntu's been telling me for a while now that the hard disk "has many bad sectors" and it should be replaced. Does this have anything to do with it?
I doubt this problem has anything to do with the OS. This same shit happened back when it was running Windows. After a while, it stopped booting altogether and all I saw was the black screen when I tried to turn it on. (link)
|
You should try running scan disk and defrag.
Go to programs, accessories, then system tools.
If you have not done this for a while, then it is time. It will probably take hours to clean up the computer. It could even quaranteen those bad sectors. Run Scan disk first, say yes when it asks if you want to delete all the temporary internet files. Say yes to all that it wants to delete. it won't delete anything important.
Then run defrag. It will probably take all night to defrag.
Hope this helps

If you are too shy, then it means that you are not ready. So wait until you are a little more mature. REally, even a few months can make a difference. Girls grow and mature very fast at your age. So just give yourself more time. No need to hurry. Just say you are not ready.
Good luck to you

if you have sex with someone bigger then your boyfriend.... can they tell?
i have been with this guy for 3 years and made a drunk mistake with someone else who was alot bigger then my boyfriend. so he fits perfectly inside me...can he tell i cheated on him the next time we have sex?
i heard you could. (link)

No, your vaginia is very "elastic" and at your young age, will always go back to it's normal size. It is only after you give birth, vaginally, that you and your lover could feel a difference. And hopefully that is many years from now.
Relax, it will be ok. Just don't let your behavior, like nervousness, give you away.
Good luck

i don't know many places to get domain names. one i know is godaddy, but i'm not going to spend extra money to get godaddy's ads off my website. i bought a website last year and i never used the elusive features i paid extra for. i dont remember that account information anymore. back on subject, however, i just want a domain .com or .net or whatever... .org. something common. but i dont want my host website in my url address. websites please? Network solutions is another place to register your domain name, but I have compared prices and Godaddy is a little cheaper.

if a male gets fixed can he still cum? just a random thought. (link)
|
Depends on what you mean by fixed.
If you mean he has had a vasectomy which cuts off the tube that provides the sperm, then yes he would still have a orgasm, but it would not have sperm in it. He would still get aroused and will want to enjoy sex. If he gets "fixed" like a dog, and gets castrated, then no he won't come and he won't be able to have an orgasm, and he won't get aroused.

I like this girl that already has a boyfriend, or so i think. i really like her and we know each other a little bit, and by a little bit, i mean we know each other's names and we had one conversation. She is a grade lower than i am and to me she seems way out of my league. We were hosts for a play for our school and we were partners. the problem is i don't know if she is interested and i don't know how to make a great impression. what do you recommend. I am sort of an outcast, in other words, i don't really socialize out my group. i would like a girl's opinion, but i am glad to listen to anyone. if you need anymore details just ask. thanks for you help. and yes i'm a guy, sorry for the confusion. i thought that if i had a girl's profile name, i could get girl's to ask me for advice,so that they would take my advice and not just ignore it. Everyone looks for validation of their feelings, and of their being. If you want to get her attention, well, you do have to talk to her. Pay her some compliments. You can start with simple things like, I like your jacket, or that scarf looks nice on you. And smile. Look her in the eye. This is going to make her more friendly and more open to talking to you. Now it would be good to start complementing her accomplishment. "Hey, I heard you 'aced" that exam in history!" You know what I mean. And again, you could say I wish I had, or I got a lousy grade. Something like that. Then another thing, if you see or hear her say tell some a**hole off, or hear about it, make sure you seek her out and tell her you think it was great that she did that.
She will begin to think that you are one of the few people in the world he understands her. She is going to be very comfortable being around you, and will seek out your company. This is important, because even though you think she is great, and has "everything" almost every young person feels that they are lacking something. But your total acceptance of her, her idea of herself, (her identity) and praising her accomplishments, will help to validate her feelings of herself, and her acceptance of you as a good friend. Then you'll have to take it from there to the next level.
Good luck to you.
No I am not 17, but I certainly remember what it was like to be there.

thanks so much for your info on collegeges, i have a few more questions.. if i just have a certification instead of a bachelors degree - will that hurt me in getting a job when i graduate ? like will i be able to get the same jobs with either one or is there a big difference? and also , if i decide to get a bachelors degree and go to a tech college for 2 years , when i transfer to a 4 year college - will i have to go there 4 more years or can i go to the 4 year college for 2 year and then have a bachelors degree since i would have had 2 years at tech college and 2 years at a 4 year college ? (link)
|
Well a certificate is usually for a specific field like, veternarian tech. Two years and you have a certificate that can help you get a job. Or HVAC Technician, or Pharmacy Technician, again, two years and you have a certificate that will help you get a job in that field. Emergency medical technician, same thing, two years of study and you leave with a certificat that says you have completed all the education requirements to be employed in that field.
So it depends on what field you want to work in.
You mentioned pharmacology or hotel management.
Like I said before you can be a pharmacy technician in two years, and there are some colleges that have a certificate program for hotel management. But to EARN THE MOST MONEY, have a career, be in upper managment, be a decision maker and a boss, you will need more than two years of college or more than an education that will only give you a certificate.
The BIG difference between a bachelor degree and a certificate degree is MONEY. You'll make more money with four or more years of college.
Your last sentence is correct. Two years of college at a community college and two years of college at a four year college can add up to one bachelor degree. Degrees are based on the number of credits you earn in CERTAIN SUBJECTS. Say you want to major in hotel/motel management, but three semesters into it, you hate it, and change to pharmacology. Well now you have just bought yourself a peck of trouble, because you almost have to start over again. You'll end up taking more than four years of classes all togehter because you wasted time and money earning credits in one field, then changed. Each field of study has it's own # of credit requirements. You'llhave to catch up and take credit in the other field, and the ones you already took in the first field, ARE NOT transferable to your second career choice. So it is important, (but not required) to know what it is you want to study once you start college.
I hope this is clear to you. good luck

I just graduated from faith academy but i was on TECH prep - so does that mean i cant go to a university college , do i have to start off at a technical college ?
also what is the difference in a masters degree , bachelors degree , or just going to school for a certificate ? will it make a difference in the future getting a job in whichever one of those 3 i decide to go for ?
and if i start at a tech school , will i be able to get my degree in the 2 years that im there for or will i have to move up to a university school and do more years of schooling ?
im thinkin about going for either business management or pharmaceutical technologies !
i want to end up being a manager at a restaurant or hotel , or either be a pharmasist .. one more thing , if i do pharmacy technichian , is that exactly like a pharmasist or is there a big difference in the two ?
i am so scared that im going to mess something up with all this college stuff so i really need some help !! thanks for everyone who trys to help :) (link)

Most students receive a bachelors degree after four years of college, A master's degree is earned as a "graduate" student, and is usually two to four years of additional study in one subject, in order to get a master's degree. This is after four years of college and earing your bachelor's degree. Then a doctorate or Ph.D. is additional years of study once you have earned your Master's degree.
A certificate is a course that requires a certain number of pre determined credits, usually at a tech or community college, and many of them are two years. A pharmacy tech (may, not 100% sure) could be a two year degree resulting in a certificate, but a pharmacists has to go to college for about 6 years after high school. So there is a big difference between the two. Pharmacy techs, help the pharmacist. The Pharmacists makes a LOT more money, but they have to be good at chemistry and spend more time in school.
Some four year colleges are Tech colleges, like Renslear Poly Tech Insitute, or MIT ( Mass. Institute of Technology.) Those are private colleges and VERY EXPENSIVE, like $40,000 a year.
some community colleges can also be technical community colleges. A community college is a good place to start. You CANNOT get a four year degree, (a bachelor's degree) from a community college. But if it is a four year degree that you want, you can save money by going to a community college for the first two years, then transferring to a four year college. And also remember this. I don't know what state you live in, but STATE colleges are always cheaper for in-state students, over a private college. If you start out at a community college please be sure and find out of the credits you earn there will be transferable to the four year college that you plan to attend later.
Hope all this helps. Good luck to you, I am glad that you have plans to go to college. You won't regret it.

Let me first start by giving you a little back ground information. My ex wife became pregnant when she was 20 and I was 19. Even though it was earlier than we both expected to become parents, we were thrilled and so excited to start our family together. We got married shortly after she gave birth to our son Matt. Soon after that, we had another son, and then a daughter. From my perspective, everything was great. That's why I was so blindsided when my wife came to me 9 months after our daughter was born claiming she wasn't ready to settle down and be a mother with divorce papers in her hand. Almost overnight, I became a 23 year old single father with a 4 year old, 2 year old, and a 9 month old. After the divorce was final, I rarely heard from my ex wife. She had begun living a life that I didn't necessarily approve of filled with drugs and alcohol and, while I wanted to keep my children as far away from that as possible, she was their mother and I didn’t feel like I could entirely keep them away from her. The last straw, however, came when I let my daughter, Alyssa, (who was 6 at the time) stay with her when I took my sons on a hunting trip. I was supposed to pick her up at noon the Sunday we got back. I spent the entire afternoon calling my ex wife’s apartment with no answer. At 5 that afternoon, I finally just went over to her house where I found her front door wide open and her passed out on the couch from mixing a few too many drugs with alcohol. Her neighbor came over to the apartment and told me that my ex wife had taken Alyssa out one night and come home completely plastered. Thank god her neighbor had woken up and decided to take Alyssa back to her apartment. And this is just one example of many. After that, I told my ex wide that I didn’t want her to see our kids anymore which devastated her so much she entered rehab. She got clean and for the past ten years has seen the kids a few times despite my hesitance. My kids and I have been living a great life together away from my ex wife. A few years ago I began dating another woman whom I am now engaged too. She gets along great with my kids and is an amazing person who I know will be a good influence on my kids’ lives. My oldest son Matt is now in college, but Colton (my middle son) and Alyssa still live with me. Since I have become engaged, my ex wife has become crazy about spending time with the two of them. She wants them at her house every weekend and doesn’t want my fiancé to parent them at all. She is trying to tell my daughter all kinds of lies about why she left, and how I am a horrible person for trying to keep them from seeing her. She tells her that the entire thing was my fault and all kinds of horrible rumors about my fiancé, who went to high school with my ex wife. She has asked both of my kids to move in with her. Colton told her absolutely not, but Alyssa is confused about the whole situation and doesn’t know what she should do. I have full custody of them so essentially it is my choice about whether or not she can see them. I don’t want to take them away from my ex wife, but I don’t want to lose them myself. I am still worried that she will resort back to her old ways and put my kids in danger like she has their whole lives. Am I right to not let my daughter move in with her mom? (link)
|
OH yes, no please do not let her move in with her mother. If you do, your daughter will find out the hard way that her mom's intentions are not to be the best mom she can be, but to aleviate the pain she is feeling from seeing you in a committed relationship, happy, and providing stability to your mutual children. The fact that she knows your finance from the past does not help. While your ex may be clean and sober, she has not grown emotionally at all. And is feeling that she is about to loose the only thing in life that she has left, and that is the love and affection of her children.
But you are emotionally stable enough to see that your children's emotional well being is more important than your ex-wife salvaging the remnants of her role as a mother. The best thing she can do is apologize to the three children and move on from there but only in the direction of being trustworthy and responsible, and putting her children first and not her emotions.
So you have to do what is right for your children. AND you have to be the BAD GUY. And it would be easy for me to say that SOME DAY they will understand. And the good news is that they will, but be prepared for a lot of emotional upheval until that day comes. It could take years.
When you catch the ex, trying to undermine your authority and your parenting, or even that of your finance, defend yourself, but don't be critical. No name calling. It serves no purpose. Always be above board in your dealings with her, so that your kids see that your are safe and stable and normal, and she can only provide instability. You can do it in a way without being mean and vindictive. Just stick to the facts.
I hope this helps, and I wish you luck. It will all be better some day. We all go through problems with our children. We all experience a few years when we wish we had never had children and they think we are the worst parents in the whole world. But it will pass and all will be OK. Keep your eye on the future and do the right thing.

Does anyone know of any stores (online store or physical store) where I could get decorations for this particular theme of party? I have looked everywhere but seem to be having very little luck. Thanks. (link)
|
Well maybe you have to change the words you are searching on. During this period, the girls who frequented the speakeasy's were called "flappers", the wore straight chemise dresses, long strings of beads and ostritch feathers. the art theme was Art Deco. So look up flappers and look up Art Deco, and you have an idea of what passed for decor and costume in the 1920's. Prohibition came about during that time and so did the mob. Men wore Zoot Suits and with watch chains, and the mobsters carried machine guns in violin cases. The law men after the mobsters were called G Men, most of them wore suits and fedora's (hats). Champagne was popular, feather boa's, french manicures, long gloves with the fingers cut off, and cigarett holders.
This should be enough to get you started.

Hi everyone. If you are willing to give me some advice you think can help me, feel free. I would greatly appreciate it. Let me begin by giving you a little bit of my history. I use to be a little chubby. I wasn't huge. Just chubby, but I think part of it was that I was still growing into my body. Like my boobs didn't fit with my body yet, etc. However, people can be crewel needless to say and some comments got to me. Combined with stress, last year, I dealt with an eating disorder. I lost a lot of weight. Somewhere between overweight and underweight, I found a weight where I was happy and comfortable. Through my recovery, I suffered a couple of bingeing episodes and got to a weight where I was no longer happy and comfortable. Its not too far away. I would say about 10 or 12 lbs. I decided to start this week. I have been eating super healthy. For a while, I didn't really make healthy eating my goal. It was to stop bingeing and put an end to this crazy cycle. But, I want to feel good again. I've been eating healthy, but I just feel like its not a weight loss maybe its just because I went to such extremes to Lose weight once that I don't know how to do it healthy. I would go 2 the gym and exercise 2 hours five days a week. But now, I go 2 school and have 2 jobs. I go to the gym 4 times a week and have a spinning bike at home I ride for 30 minutes when I can't take the class at the gym. But, I just need a little more guidance with the meals. Somewhere I can find a sample menu at least. So I know I'm on the right track. Thank you and happy holidays!
Thank you

HI Cristy, congratulations on getting your weight were you want it, and exercising. Eating healthy is one of the most important things you can do for yourself. So many disabilities and diseases can be caused by unhealthy eating.
First it is important that you get a little protein at every meal or snack. Protein does not have to come from meat. It can come from nuts or eggs. I used a protein powder made from hemp. It's green! And I mix a smoothie up each day and have that with breakfast and lunch. At lunch I ad a half grapefuite and a salad. At dinner I eat a souce of animal protein. Meat, chicken, or fish. I include lots of vegetables and fruit in my diet. Inbetween meals I snack on nuts and/or yogurt. I use only olive oil in cooking and I drink plenty of water. Spring water, not tap water. I avoid fried foods, baked goods, and salty snacks like chips and pretzels. But sure, once in a while I eat pizza. Veggie pizza mostly.
When I do eat break or pasta I try to eat only whole grain. And cereals too, I only eat whole grain cereals. It is important to read labels.
With all this in mind, you should be able to make up some meals using the foods that you like and that are healthy for you.
Good luck to you
and Happy New Year
Michele
