Am I pregnant?

Question Posted Wednesday March 31 2010, 11:14 am

Been taking the pill for a month - perfect no problems.

On Sunday had sex (took my pill on sunday morning at 8)

Took My Pill Again At 8 On Monday - Which Was Fine, It Was Also THE LAST pill in the pack

Then had sex on tuesday morning BEFORE the time I would of taken my pill - but didnt take my pill because I finished the packet.

Am I pregnant?
I have to wait 7 days - should get my period then - if I dont should I go to the doctors?

WEll, you have only been on the pill for one month. Usually you have to be on it for a while to be sure that this dose will be right for you. Birth control pills come in different strengths. And wow, it has been so long since I have been on the pill, maybe doctors have figured out a way to ensure that you are on the right strength right away. If that is the case, then as long as you took your pill every morning at the same time, prior to that sexual encounter that occurred one morning before you took the pill, you should be OK. But only time will tell. As I said in the past, one month was not enough time to determine success with the pill.
I hope this helps. If you are lucky enough not to be pregnant, I think you should be more careful and use additional protection until you are sure that this dose is the correct one for you. One way that you can tell, is that you will have blood spotting during the month, between periods. If that occurs, it means that this pill is not strong enough for you.
Good luck dear.
