omg ok i have to get my wisdom teeth pulled! haha, i just had mine out a week and a half ago.
You are not awake during the surgery. The Surgery takes about 45 minutes to an hour. Your mouth is swollen for at least 5 days. Um, the first day you'll be pretty numbed up, so you won't feel anything. The 2nd day, the numbness wears off (i hate being numb, so i was glad when it did) but make sure that you take your anti-biotic and pain pill before the numbness wears off or you'll hurt. Um, i mean it's not a huge amount of pain but it does hurt a little. I guess it all depends on your pain level. There will be a lot of discomfort, and you won't be able to eat the food you like for at least a week and a half. It will seem weird trying to eat the first day because your mouth is swollen and numb, and you can't use straws. Just use a mirror and try to get food in your mouth, that's what i did.

How can I keep my eyeshadow on all day? It's powder eyeshadow that I love but it always fades away during the day. I don't want to keep reapplying it. Any tips so my eyeshadow stays on longer? (link)

apply a neutral creme shadow to your lids, and then apply the pretty powder eye shadow. What the creme does, is it allows the eye shadow to stick and it will stay on longer. There are also clear liquid eye shadows that are made to go over eye shadow so they don't wear off.

hi.. i'm really bummed, my friend was talking behind my back and i got the advice to talk to her, so i did . she told me she never said anything and so i beleived her... it was fine, then my other friend sends me this e-mail she sent her saying she did sy stuff behind my back and isn't sorry for it and she doesn't want to be friends because i don't show that i want to be either.. but can i help it if i've been busy all summer? anyways i just wish we could be friends back.. and real ones who don't talk behind eachothers backs... what should i do?

I've had that happen to me before...and the truth is, that if she was really a great friend, she wouldn't have ever said anything nasty about you. Friends are supposed to be people we trust and confide in, they're supposed to be there when we need them and support us when we fall. There are a lot of good people in the world, and i personally think you could find a better friend than someone who constantly talks smack about you. I'd ditch her and never look back, i know that's harsh but you didn't do anything to her, and why would you ever trust her again? Just be nice to her...but i wouldn't consider her a friend anymore

(I'm 14) I've been going out with my bf for awhile, and I always knew that he USED to smoke pot, and stopped like 6 months ago,and sometimes drinks a lot because of family problems...Well about 3 weeks ago he left a voice message saying he wouldn't be able to call because he got grounded because he "got caught doing something...very bad" and wouldn't tell me what it was, well his parents disconnected his phone and I found out yesterday from his friend justin (i had to practically beat it out of him...because he was afraid i'd go off killing my bf or something...) that his parents caught him smoking (which explains why he cant run 2 miles anymore) and that he used to have a big stash of cigs in his room, but that he quit after his parents caught him...then he asked if i was gonna break up with him, i said "i have no idea" And i haven't talked to him because he's grounded, and as selfish as it is, it pisses me off..
I dunno what to do, should I break up with him or not? I know all my friends will say I should, because I'm in the "good" group of friends, a lot of them go to church and have very strong beliefs and have never done any of that stuff,(we live in a small town in farmersville u.s.a so that stuff is a big deal) I'm in with them...but barely (my family is screwed up) it's like i'm teetering on the edge of good and bad...and i always fall for the messed up guys, and I know my bf is messed up..but i love him, and I don't know...he's never pressured me or ANYTHING, he's not like that, but I know dating someone with that many problems isn't good and will lead to problems, because drugs and alcoholism run in MY family too..but no matter what he does i can't hate him

that's a very good question! umm i'm sorry you have to go through that. For advice i can only say so many things, but i think you really have to decide what route you want to take in life. I mean people's perceptions of you matter a lot whether people care or not, and i myself also coming from a small town in Wisconsin where everyone knows everyone else and talks about them, know exactly how that works. I always seem to like 'the bad boys' or whatever but that's what makes me who i am. If church, and having a clean and sweet reputation matters a lot to you then i would advise you to decide if this ONE guy is worth all of that. But, i wouldn't just judge him because he may smoke some pot or cigs...and drinks a little. I have a pretty dysfunctional family and i admit i have drank a little, but i've never smoked cigs or done pot, just for the fact that i don't trust myself for when i start...to ever stop. So yeah, like i said, you have to way your values. Say to yourself, if i do this, what will the outcome be? and is he worth it? And if i break up with him, will i be happy?
In reality, it's not the drugs, cigs, and alcohol that's the problem, i mean it's the source but it's really not the problem. The problem is your group of friends, and what people you want to respect you and stuff. There are a lot of great guys in the world (you just have to look hard) and if you ask me, your self worth and reputation is worth a lot more than just one guy.

if you go to www.seventeen.com the have a health and fitness section i believe..and a lot of times they post work out schedule's step by step. Otherwise, if it's not on their site, they always have them once a month in the magazine. Sometimes CosmoGirl does too

well...yes in any case they always check down below. It's very embarassing and i hate it...but if you're a guy, they'll feel around with your thing down there...and if you're a girl they'll look at that too.
I know doesn't that suck? but basketball's well worth it ;-)

If you've talked about marriage and moving in together then you at least trust him enough to talk to him. Ask him what was up with the whole ordeal about breaking up, and how you don't understand that whole thing about breaking up and then getting back together.
and yes that's kind of weird, but i don't know if he was high or drunk (not saying he does that but ya never know) or maybe he was having a bad day. Or maybe he's bipolar? i dunno but seriously talk with him

I really like this boy, and i think he likes me. (i kissed him a few times.) But then my best friend comes out of nowhere, saying that everything he said to me was a lie. She didn't tell me the WHOLE story yet, but since then i havent been able to get in-touch with her. i dont know what to do. I wasnt to believe her because she's my best friend, but people warned me about her, how she lives to ruin people's lives. I dont wanna talk to the boy untill i hear the whole story, but i dont know how long it'll be before i see my best friend again. Wat shud i do?

Sometimes friends suck :-(, but give her the benefit of the doubt at least. She could be telling the truth. Since you can't talk to her for a while, maybe hint around with the boy or be subtle by asking if he's talked to your friend lately...also maybe ask around about what the boy's really like and his past relationships. I'm not to sure what this falls under but I wanted peoples thoughts. I love kids, honest to God they are the best thing that has happened in my life (I don't have any). This lady at my church is having a baby in Oct. and has a 10 month old who is smaller for his size, anyways he will be staying with us more then likely. I have a two story house along with basement stairs and breakable stuff. Our house is not by any means baby-proof. Does anyone have any good ideas that don't cost a ton of money because this is probably only going to happen once and I don't expect on having children for another 15 years...LOL THANKS!

I don't really know what your question is asking...but if you're asking how to baby-proof your house, it's really not that hard. Um just pick up little things that they could choke on, and only worry about things that are reachable by the baby. Also, watch the wiring. Oh yeah, and the only thing that would cost money is the plastic things that fill in electrical sockets...those are pretty cheap and i would get some because you don't want them to get electricuted by sticking their little fingers in those. Also, if you have some type of gate thing for the stairs at night or whenever they're up there, get that. They're also pretty reasonable to buy, and remember they can be stored for 15 years and re-used ;-) lol

yes it hurts, the tongue and nose hurt worse, than the belly button though. If you're drunk or high, it will still hurt, but maybe you won't remember it the next morning!!! lol
but i wouldn't recommend doing it yourself. Especially your tongue, i know this girl who got by with doing it herself, but there are so many veins in the spot where most people pierce it, that you could either really hurt yourself, and lose a lot of blood or you could hit a vein that can paralize half of your face. so please don't do that. I would recommend to get your nose done, because the placing is important on that.
Otherwise...i know a lot of girls that have pierced their belly button's themselves and it's really ok. I had mine done by a friend, but only get it done if you know what you're doing, or the other person does!

My friend has been going out with this immature guy for like 7 months now. He is soo rude to her like not returning phone calls, making fun of her friends (like me for instance), blowing her off for his friends. I was open with her telling her how i felt about him, but she didn't care at first. Now she's thinking about dumping him, but she just doesn't have the heart to.

talk to her again....and if she's too afraid to do it, ask her if she wants you to. I am personally not a fan of "friends friend's break-ups" but sometimes people are really shy and they need a little push... If she allows you to talk to him...just tell him how you feel about him, and hopefully she'll either break up with him, or have you do it!

lol i remember that feeling. It depends on your age, if you're like 13 or under, you want to really think about if you're ready. I mean a first kiss is something that you'll remember forever, so you want it to be with a great guy! Actually that goes for anyone. But otherwise, my opinion is that kissing is harmless...don't worry about if you'll do it right or wait for him to do it or whatever. If you want something go for it! Oh, and be careful about the word love...only say it if you mean it ;-)

Well, in health, we learned that you can only get pregnant if the sperm enters the body right? Well, sperm dies once it reaches the air...so you can't get pregnant from his hand touching you down there. What you CAN get though is an STD, so be careful.

haha, well i'm pretty tan so i don't really have that problem, but i would try any time of dark tanning oil. Carrot oil works really well, when they have only an SPF of 4 or something.
Or there are places you can by that airbrush leg's stuff that sprays the color on...lol i dunno how that works but yeah
also, if you want to pay a lot of money there are some professional places that airbrush a tan color all over your body. that way you don't get harmful rays from the sun!

hey my hair is a blondeish color now..got that way from the sun...i have nothing against blonde hair on other people, i just don't like the way it looks on me. i have kind of pale skin, and dark brown eyes. my hair is 2 inches longer than shoulder length and very layered and straight. does anyone have any good hair colors i could dye it while still looking natural? like i mean specific colors--not "brown" or "red"...like maybe a color on a dying kit and the number of it (link)

hmm...well i have dyed my hair 58908098345092310 times. lol not really but i've dyed it a lot. Mine is dark brown, but be careful when you dye.
It depends on your hair type (curly, straight, wavy, frizzy, fried, normal, conditioned, or dry)
I would recommend to like you said, do a home dying kit. The color's on the box are going to be really close to what your hair will come out to be. When you go to a salon, the color varies, and a lot of times it's harsher chemicals for your hair and it costs an arm and a leg.
If you have pale skin, and brown eyes i would recommend a light brown, or maybe a dark carmel color.
If u have a pic, i could probably recommend a better color, like a box number and everything...it just really depends on your features! IM on rockerchick1218 if you want to ;-)

I met this guy over the summer and we have been going out for about a month or so. I thought it was just a summer 'fling' or romance but I now have strong feelings for him. We don't live that close and we go to different schools. We really want to stay together after summer, but I'm not sure it will happen. Can a summer fling actually last into the fall or even longer? i was in that same situation...actually i still am. I went on a cruise in december and me and this guy were together every day...i didn't think that it would be anything more than a vacation fling but now i constantly think about him. We are 5 states apart lol but we will see eachother again.
But anyway, if you and this guy feel the same about eachother, then you should ask him what you want this relationship to be like. If he says more than a summer thing then it could probably work out...it'll will just take a little more committment. If you both are into it, then call eachother and stay in touch...i'll warn you though, you'll want to see him more every time you talk about him.
My advice...is to seriously think about how you think, i mean...if you're the type of person that get's really attached to a guy, you should think about your long-term happiness if you hardly get to see him. and if you think that you're gunna be un-happy, i would try to do anything to let your feelings for him sub-side

i've heard of it, but um...if you really want a diet like that, don't just drink water. I would love to lose weight lol but i enjoy food to much to even consider it. But maybe so you don't endanger your health, you could water and salads...or other not-fattening foods. I don't really know, but you should eat some type of food at least ONCE a day. Please
