Alright, so I'm going to get my eyebrows waxed for the first time EVER sometime this week, and I'm a little nervous.

1) How long will it take?

2) How do they do it?

3) On a scale one to ten, ten being highest, how bad did it hurt for you the first time?

4) What age did you start getting yours waxed/plucked, etc?

5) How often will I need to get them redone or whatever?

Plz help, I'm a little confused, and really nervous.

Don't be nervous.

1.] Depending on how much hair there is or however the person shaping it, or even how experienced the person is.. it could take from 5 minutes to 20 max.

2.] They will take a wooden stick, (like the ones doctors use to check if you have strep throat) and will put a hot wax on it. (No, the wax doesn't hurt when they apply it, it's just a little warm on your skin). Then they will wipe it across on however their shaping them. Then they will take a special paper and put it down on the wax and tear off.

3.] To be honest, it all depends on the hurt factor of the person. In my opinion -- I'd say probably a 7. Haha. But it could be different for you depending on your pain factor.

4.] I started getting mine waxed and plucked probably going into middle school.

5.] It all depends on how you want them to look. You don't have to keep going back if you don't want to. It's all according to your preference.

Just don't be nervous, it will go by really fast, and plus, they put a soothing lotion on RIGHT after and it feels good :]

I just bought Clairol Natural Instincts. Well I have light/medium brown hair, and I bought Rosewood 30 (Dark Auburn Brown). Has anyone used this? Would it look good? Is the product good? Thanks!

I've used it before, and in my opinion it works very well. I'm sure it'll look good :] and yes, the product is great, it has a lot of moisturizers in it, too. So yes, you're fine! :]

k so my parents [mainly no all my stepdad] doesn't let me do anything. if i ask to go to/have friends over like on a monday he'll be like well we'll see how your attitude is and maybe you can on thursday. and i'm like wtf. i haven't done anytihng all summer and it's starting to aggravate me. any ideas on what i can do around the house thats like fun and/or productive? i'm just so bored and i'm staritng to get really upset too, like i'll just sit here and cry. ag. any suggestions would be great :]

It's all really what you're into. Like If you love reading, try reading a series of books to keep you occupied or entertained. Or if you're kind of crafty, I'd really recommend starting a project that can keep you doing something. Their really fun.

On the other hand, parents aren't sometimes fair, we all know. Maybe you could do work around the house and help your parents out, and maybe they'll lighten up about letting you out of the house. Because really, it's your time off and you should be able to hang out with your friends, let them know that. :]

all the boys i like r real cute but look nice and innocient and i know looks can be decieveing but im into the quiet boys. they are nice sometimes but when it comes to girs theyre mean can please explain y they probably act like that

Guys are never mean when their by themselves. Guys have this immature way of impressing their friends if they make fun of some girls in front of everyone, it's male nature. You just have to use your best judgment and find the right guy for you, trust me, there's plenty out there who aren't jerks :]

Well i know this boy for almost 8months but his my online bestfriend im in sydney and his in victoria and i want to send him something but im scared is dosnt give me his address i really want to send it to him but im ton scared to ask himm any advice ?

I'd really recommend not doing it just for your safety. You never know what could happen. It really doesn't matter how long you've know him, and 8 months isn't even that long. Even if you send him something, he'll still see your address and it's just not safe. Think about it.

You just have to own up to what she's doing and tell her what she's doing wrong. Don't make it so she gets mad, if there's an easy way to just sit down with her and explain how you feel, maybe she can change her ways and you can enjoy her company again.

my friend ran away from his house today, walked for about 2 hours, then went over to my boyfriend's house where we both were. my boyfriend and him a tight friends. can my boyfriend get in legal trouble for letting my friend into his house?

cuz really, my boyfriend did good, because my friend was walking through some sketchy neighborhoods. he could've gotten shot or stabbed, or jumped.

Your boyfriend did good for letting your friend in to keep him safe, so no he won't get in trouble. I'd really recommend trying to talk to your friend and get him to call his parents immediately and let them know where he is. You wouldn't want his parents think he's gone missing and make it a bigger deal then it's supposed to be.

OK...Well my mom can be a total bitch some times. I hate it when she does shit just to piss me off. Its like she wants to fight and argue. I try to just brush it off but some times I just want to crack. Grr. And my dad could care less about me. I use to be super close to him before he got remarried. He doesnt care about me or anyone anymore. He doesnt even call me. I stay into it with both of them all the time. Some times all I do is cry. It upsets me so much cause they act like they dont care.

Someone plz tell me what I can do to make this better. Im about to give up.

Parents go through a lot of stress and sometimes their children don't realize it. Try being on your best behavior for a little while -- i know it's hard but however long you can to make your parents happy i'm sure they'll come along.

i used to have a really bad relationship with my mom, and no matter how stubborn i was i was nice to her even when she took out her stress on me. after a while, she calmed down and we've been on eachothers good side lately, we hang out a lot and we're real good friends :]

the more you please your parents the better your relationships will be. it's never too late to change your relationships between your parents, try your best, i'm sure everything will work out like it's supposed to.

i like to do smoky eyes but i want some new ideas. like different colors and eyeliners or just different ideas in general and tips on how to make it look the best. thanks in advance.

sometimes i like setting off my eye shadows and liners by what i'm wearing. like for instance.. if you're wearing a blue shirt try putting on dark eyeliner and some dark blue eyeshadow lightly above the eyes, it gives a cool effect :]

sometimes i really depends on your eye color. for green eyes, try lavenders, greens and grays. you know? it's all about bringing the eyes out.

I am having huge cravings! At night it is incredibly hard to control my cravings. I am not fat, but I would like to lose a few pounds and tone up my poochy areas. I don't know how to stand my cravings. If there is a solution to that problem, let me know!

I get this a lot too. I always drink water, it fills you up. Or if you're extremely hungry try getting some fruit or veggies, just a few to snack on. They will fill you up without packing on the extra pounds.

oka im really confuse i like this guy right, which is my friend brother and just the other day he found out that i like him. guys show their affections differently than girls do. this could be his way of flirting. if he already knows you like him, and he likes you too, this is pretty normal. so according to your information, i'd have to say yes he does. :]

My dad and me uste to spend time with each other 24/7 since I was until I was about 12 or 13, when he started cheating on my mom. Then they got divorced, and now I never see him at all. We pretty much have had a fallen out ever since then. I would go see him but I don't like his family he has now. All they talk about when I'm around is how her kid gets drunk the night before and how her other kid whose younger than me cusses and smokes. So I pretty much don't like it so I don't tend on going down there, only time I go is when he makes me(court orders). All I wanted was for him to go fourwheeler riding just like we uste to just me and him but no he has to make sure awhole buncha werid people come to. So I tell him I don't want to go now and he gets mad and hangs up on me and all this. Should I just go anyways? I mean I'd rather not cause I'm pretty shy around strangers and I hate how they start talking to and go so your (dads name) kid right? you look alot like him yadda yadda yadda. What would you do? I really don't want to go around them people and I can't talk to him about it cause we'll end up arguing and we'll both end up crying and all this.

Use your best judgment. Don't worry about what other people think, if you really want to see your Father then go for it. If you miss him that much, spend as much time as you can without his new family around.

Try not to argue and just try to make the day with him one of the best. Just try to have fun and build a better relationship between each other, I'm sure things will go fine. :]

Coarse hair is pretty thick and straight.
Medium texture is most likely a mix between the two, not too thin but not too thick. :]

My friend tried it, and to be totally honest with you, it all depends on the person. It dried out her skin a lot and everything.

Sometimes infomercials for products like proactive and acnecomplex can be sometimes fake. You just have to go with your best judgment. Make sure you look at the ingredients and make sure it's right for your skin.

That's a perfect skateboard to start off with. It doesn't necessarily matter what type of skateboard it is, just as long as you know what you're doing and you don't get hurt. I've learned from experience, good luck with the whole process :]

im getting braces tmrw and i'm really nervous about it... will it hurt? what will they do? how long will it take? i gag really easily do you think im gonna like feel sick while they're putting them on? any other details you can give me would be great

I got braces once too, and to be completely honest it wasn't that bad. I was nervous at first but it's really not a painful process. After the first day your mouth will feel some pain, but a little advil should cure that :] It only takes like, 30-45 minutes depending on the other customers that are at the office. You won't feel sick while they're putting them on, trust me. It's not all that bad, the results are perfect, just make sure you remain calm and have a lot of advil on you! :]
