no
go to a skate shop and look for a combo that has a blank deck
or ask the people there for a cheap board becuase you are just starting
dont get a bored from dicks
they are all over priced
like a deck cost 80 there and it would only cost 30 at a skateshop

That's a perfect skateboard to start off with. It doesn't necessarily matter what type of skateboard it is, just as long as you know what you're doing and you don't get hurt. I've learned from experience, good luck with the whole process :]

Why not, all it is is a bit of wood with some wheels on it, and if you're learning then it's going to be scuffed and damaged as you learn how to control your tricks.

There's no point investing in a decent deck until you're good enough not to trash it!
