i was always told that going on the pill would make your period stop completely (by freinds, not doctors) and lately i've been seeing a commercial about a pill that can reduce your period to only 3 days?? now, is it true that there is such a thing as a birth control pill that can make your period stop altogether, or is that just a myth?

I dont think their is a pill to make it so you dont have ur period but there is a shot. Their is a pill that makes it so you only get it a few times a year. Hope i helped bye.

okay this may be kinda confusing, but bear with me, thanks! okay i was wondering when your tanning, is it the amount of sun that hits you that gets you darker or is it how strong the sun is? because yesterday when i was tanning, i thought that how strong the sun hits you would make you darker cause i could like feel like on me.. if you know what i mean? so anyone know? and thanks, ill rate 5's if you helped!

It mainly depends on how sunny it is outside and if it is some clouds you prob wont get tanned that much but there isnt clouds outside and you are out their for a couple hours you should get tanned. Hope i helped.

im 14 and ive been straightening my hair since like 12 1/2. so its been like 2 years kinda.. well like what hair straightening does.. it fried my hair. and i also blow dry it every day.. and its REALLY bad, like its poofy and its like dry.. but once i straighten it it looks kinda healthy, and not so poofy. so i was wondering what could i do to get my hair back to healthy.. you dont understand how POOFY it gets when i get out of the shower.. so if i like blowdried my hair on cool(not the high heat, like cold heat) and not straighten it as much, would that help? what things could i do so it will become healthy again? and im sorry its so long, but i will rate!

One thing you could do it make sure you use conditioner and then get the kind that you can leave in so yout hair is getting alot of nutrients and you might one to take a short break from staightning, and if that doesnt work you should go to the hair place and ask them what they think is best to do. About 2 weeks ago I got into a really stupid fight over msn messanger with one of my closest male friends. I am pretty sure he liked me romantically- but so far we had just been good friends. Well he is kind of a hot head and it takes him a while to cool down. He lives in another province, but used to live in the same town as me. U was hoping one day we would end up together.
Well last night when I was at work one of his best friends came into the store that I work at. He didnt talk to me but was staring at me and this sort of concerned look on his face. Do you think (because my friend lives far away) that he has been asking his friend to come into the store I work in just to check up on me and see if I'm doing okay? I am almost possitive that his friend new about his (romantic feelings) for me.

He could be checking up on seeing if u are ok or seeing if u are hugging or flirting with other guys or he could just be weird and like staring at u? If he comes in again try talking to him, ask him if he needs anything, start a conversation, hope i helped bye.

I have a best friend whom I've known since the 7th grade, and one of the things we promised each other in our ring of friends is that "Friends come first always before boyfriends." However, I feel that this best friend of mine is not keeping this promise. Besides being close friends with me, she also had this really close guy-friend since the 7th grade, who has now become her boyfriend. I know that I should understand that its okay for her to be closer to him because they were close before, and are now in a relationship together, but I feel hurt that its against what we promised... Like, she would always, always stress it to to us that friends are always first, but this now seems hypocritical... We rarely talk on the phone anymore, or talk at all because she's always spending time with her boyfriend... What can I do to repair this friendship, or to understand???

Well i think you should talk to ur friend and tell her that you guys made a promise when you guys were in 7th grade and she isnt going along with it. Tell her that you want tl hang out with her and like a girls night out something where no guys can come. Hope i helped

I dont think there is a certain age on when guys bring their girlfriend to meet there parents. It usually depends on if the relationship is really serious and he thinks it is worth his parents meeting you.

In May of 2004 my sister graduated, and I met a guy she graduated with. I thought he was totally hot and started to have a crush on him.
Well, I couldn't get ahold of him after graduation and now two years down the road I go to a party and see him.
Things happen and I make out with him. Well now time has progressed and we are friends with benefits.
I don't mind it .. he is hot, cool and stuff.
But now lately he has been calling me alot. ALOT.
It's not booty calls either, he calls and we talk. I invite him over for that reason and he doesnt come over. I'm confused. We flirt alot and there is obvious chemestry between us, but isnt that just what friends with benefits are?
We don't go touchy feely everytime we see each other either.
What's going on? I'm confused.

Usually with friends with benefits only one person gets pleasure out of it. One wants to be serious and one wants to just fool around and in your postion he wants to be serious i think and you dont mind just playin around. If he is starting to really like u, if u feel the same way towards him maybe u guys should go out, give it a try.

So I read this website that said as soon as you get your period you should go to a gyno but i am only 13 and i have gotten mine, but the thought of going to a gyno scares me because that it the most awkward thing i can possibly think of, going to a random hospital naked and sitting in stirrups? you dont have to go to a gyno unless you start having sex, which is hopefully when you are older and u are more mature and u wont think of it as being weird.

I'm dating this guy. Ryan. We have been dating for about three weeks now, Yeah, I know - It's not that long. But this isn't the first time we dated.

My best friend, almost hooked up with the same guy. But we went out one night and she did things with another guy and almost went all the way. Ryan found out and told me about two months ago that he didn't want a girl like that, So we started talking more, My bestfreind hates it with a passion. She claims that she wants him to die and that she hates him and doesn't want anything to do with him ever again, and that she has no feelings left for him what so ever, So I thought - What the heck, I'll date him and give him a chance.

We started dating. My bestfriend found out and told me, it's me or him. Take your pick. Of course, I chose my best friend. Me and Ryan broke up. Then about two weeks later, me and Ryan started talking about, and everything was cool with my bestfriend, We even pledged to not let another guy get between us ever again. Everything was perfect, So I gave Ryan another chance. I told my best friend, but she was too drunk to remember that I said anything.

Last night I hung out with both of them. My bestfriend was a complete ass to Ryan and I felt bad but I couldn't do much because I hate being in the middle of fights, So I just stood there and talked to all my other friends. Apperently everyone but my bestfriend knew that me and Ryan were dating. Well, I didn't want to tell my bestfreind last night either because we were not only with a buncha friends but she was also wasted.. So I didn't say anything.

Somehow, she found out. She called Ryan and completely bitch slapped him and called him on everything. I haven't talked to her yet but I'm not so sure I want to. I don't know what to do because I know it's going to come down to the same thing, Her or Him. I don't want to choose for the sake of myself, but what do I do?

I have a large mole which is larger than any other on my body. It is located near the vagina just above my thigh. It is oval shape and sticks out the skin. I am worried this is cancerous. But i've had it for years. I'm just not sure if it has grown in size.

Is it canerous? or am I worrying over nothing?

if u have tried charging the battery, made sure it wasnt on hold and nothing will work, if u the warrenty thing you should call them and let them kno and im sure they will look at it and find whats wrong and if they cant they will most likely replace it.

This sounds kind of cliche, but I don't have any friends. I have acquatences (sp?) at school and really only one friend who goes to another school and she is going to another country in the summer. Its not that I'm unable to make friends. Most people that I meet like me and I like them, I'm quite friendly. I just never seem to become close with any of them. I used to be with a group of friends, but we're not in touch anymore. I don't want to be alone all summer, I was wondering of anyone could tell me where to meet new people that I could become friends with and stay in touch with. Any help along the lines of getting friends and keeping them would be very much appreciated. I'll rate high.

For me the best place to meet people is at the pool. Alot of people go there with a couple of friends and look for people to meet. So yeah go to a pool and i am sure ull meet someone that interests u.

I was just wondering if anyone can give me some good vacation ideas? OK, we live in Latrobe, Pa. We only want to go for a weekend. It will be me, my husband & our 2 kids, (3 & 6). We would like it to be somewhat cheap & close by. Even in the Ohio, West Virginia range would be fine. As long as it is in driving distance. So, if anyone had any experiences with any place fun & inexpensive or has any ideas in general it would be greatly appriciated. We can also go to places offering military discounts. Thankyou.

In my opinion i like Ocean City. I am sure that hotels have military discount. They are alot of great amusement parks like jolly Rogers. They are very kid friend. I have been going there since i was really young. Well hope i helped bye.
