OK here's the deal. I smoke cigarettes .. yes I know all the bad stuff about it already and I know I shouldn't do it, blah blah blah. My best friend doesn't know tho. Shes my best friend in the entire world and I hate keeping this from her. A couple of people who she doesnt like know I smoke. She doesnt even know i talk to them. I hate keeping it from her. I dont want to quit. She thinks smoking is really stupid. How can I tell her about it ?

Well you can't really tell her w/out her getting upset or getting a lecture from her, but she is yr best friend in the whole world so if she was yr true friend she should support yr decision. It's yr choice to smoke or not. But she's yr best friend and u shouldn't keep things from her. Just be honest with her, and hope that she is a good enough friend to understand your choice. Good Luck!

Well I have been quite puzzled about this lately....when you're taking the pill, do you have to use a condom to help prevent pregnancy? I don't need it for STD's b/c my bf and I don't have any nor have we been with any other people ever before. So any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Hey. No you don't have to wear a condom if you r already taking the pill. The pill prevents pregnancy, 98%. So basically you won't get pregnant. Good Luck!!

I'm a freshman and i think i'm workin myself too hard. I come home exhausted almost everyday and i take a nap. Then when i wake up, it takes me a few hours to do my homework and i'm really tired. I play a sport year-round and i think i might have to give up 1 or 2 of those sports. What should do? Am i working myself too hard?

Probably. Sometimes that happens to me too. So maybe u should take a break every once in a while. You know some days u work really hard and then have a cool down day. so yes it might be a good idea to give up one or two of the sports that u do. It will deffinetly increase your health and make u feel better. I hope that I helped you out.

I get the worst cramps when I get my period. It's usually my first or second day when I get these horrible cramps. I take Motrin, drink tea and use a heating pad. Nothing I do seems to really work and my cramps get so terrible I just want to die. Is there something I can do or take that will make them go away?

Hey. Same Here! When I get my period, I get the worst cramps in the world. It's terrible. So what I do is take Tylenol Extra Strength. It works like a charm. I would never go n e where w/out it when i'm on my period. I hope it helps!

Well, I'm 13. I just got my boyfriend
only about 5 days ago. And we just met each
other about 3 weeks ago. We really like each
other. Already, we went to a Football game
and people were chanting us to kiss...and
we did 4 times. I think we're rushing, but
I don't want to hurt anything between us. Though
I know he'll probably be fine with it if I tell him how I feel...I just can't get the guts to. What should I do?

When u two r alone try talking to him, and telling him that u wan to move slower and making sure that u tell him that u really like him just that u want to take things slow. Good Luck with that!

I'm a 15 F. This boy likes me .. almost all the girls that I've talked to like him or think hes cute. He's really shy though... He gets his friend(who is my friend too) to come up to me and say that he thinks I'm cute and ask me questions. All he's ever really said to me is hi or bye. I think it's really cute that he's shy and it shows that he's not rude or agressive like the other boys. Well the thing is.. I'm shy too and I dont know how to get a conversation going when he's with his group of friends and I'm with mine. Any ideas?

Hey girl! I have been in the same situation as u. I am also pretty shy, but my friends just told me to take those risks that u think r worthwhile. This guy sounds like the rare type thats hard to find. Take your chances. Maybe ask some of his friends to go to the movies with a bunch of ur friends too and make sure to tell them to invite this boy too. Also when u r at the movies all together, try asking ur friends to start a conversation that has to do with u and just jump in and ask some questions then about him that r realated to that subject. It will definetly get things going and give u that little extra boost. Have Fun!

I'm new this year at a school and I thought it would be so easy to make friends, and it has been thanks to basketball. But during school, the most people ever say to me is like...Hi! and then when basketball practice comes around they're all crazy. I'm a VERY talkative person, but going to the same school for all my life (except this year) I know what it's like to have a new girl and instantly not like them because they're not as tight with your friends or whatever. I'm saying I need to sharpen my social skills, but asking questions like, "So...what do you like to do?" isn't a question I'd normally ask. It's odd asking questions like what's ur fav color and stuff....so i need help...

well making friends actually is pretty easy. In your classes, just act friendly around them and try to include yourself with wat they r talking about. Or maybe u have something that is related to the subject that they r talking about and u can just try and add that to make confversation. Trust me, it will make people see that u r a great and friendly person to hang around with. Have making new friends! If u ever need a friend e-mail or IM me.

Today everybody forced me and my boyfriend to kiss and we did but I totally freaked out as soon as I felt his tongue and jumped back going: Ew! He got really pissed and ran off. I thought everything was over until I saw him and we hugged and he said it was OK. Now he's gone cold on me, hung up on me and switched his phone off. I think I've runined everything but I like him so much. I need help and fast.

Well if u can see him in person then sit down and talk with him and tell him that u just weren't used to it and just were surprised that it all happened so fast. Tell him that u like him alot and that u were just alittle freaked about the kissing part. Talking always works some how or another. Im in the army, been with my girlfriend 5 years. Im leaving again for iraq for the 2nd, should i ask her to marry me before i ago, just incase i dont come back. i love her with all my heart, i would give my life for her. but do you guys ever have the feeling how do you know if they are the one. its just so mind boggling to me. and advice would help.

I think she would be very happy if u asked her to marry u before u left and that u mention to her that u would give ur life for her. Thats so sweet. O and u will know that she is the one just by instinct. U will feel like there is a band that connects u 2, to each other and no one can ever break it. If u do ask i hope she says yes. Good Luck!

there is this boy who b sweatin me..everywhere i go he follow..but he is a nice friend.but sometimes he just get annoying. How can i tell him to back off..but without hurting his feeling?

hey! well wat u can do is grab him for a minute and talk to him. Ask him a few questions that will maybe stop him from stalking u. Like ask him if he likes u, and if he says yes then calmly tell him that u just don't feel the same but u would like to stay friends. Without a doubt it will hurt his feelings a little bit but in other words u guys can still be friends without him following ur every move. Good luck !!

ok so i like this guy and i dont think that he is in my league. i mean we are friends but he is a senior and im a freshman. we are getting to know each other better but he is pretty popular and i dont think he wil ever like me... what should i do?

Hey girl! Never give up hope. O and most guys this century are really nice (even the popular ones). I happen to be in your situation alittle while back. I liked this really popular guy and I never thought that he could ever like someone like me. So I gave up all hope until I found out that he liked me too. I was alittle surprised but also excited. You never know, he could like u too. Remember you only have one lifetime, so take those risks. In the end it will be worth it. To every bad happening there is a good ending! Trust me on that one! I went on vacation and met this perfect guy there. We hung out everyday for 2 weeks. We "were a couple" for about a week. I havent seen him now for 2 months and it has been the hardest thing ever. We both still have really strong feelings for eachother but i am kinda starting to like this guy at skool. I am going to go see him for Thanksgiving. Should i totally forget about this guy and go for someone who lives in the same state (since i will only be able to see him about 3 times a year)?? I dont kno what to do so please help me!
