Q: Our highschool is having auditions for "The Music Man" Tomorrow night around 6. I need a song to sing...I really can't think of and good/semi It can me with or without music. My voice talents are limited, but they are there, so any suggestions would be marvelous!

Q: Haha, just kidding, I've been dressing myself for years, but the problem is that I've just now discovered my fashion sense. I actually know what looks cute and what doesn't! Before I used to wear hoodies and jeans, or t-shirts and jeans to school every day,(I'm a little bit chubby, so I liked that extra padding to hide it) but now I know what looks ok. The only problem is that I'm afraid to wear it. It's my junior year of high school, and right in the middle of the year is kind of a weird time to "re-invent myself". How do I get over this fear? I want to wear scarves to school, and nice jackets, and skirts, but I'm scared! Thanks! (I'll rate high if your advice is good, which is generally the concept or rating anyway..)

Why can't you "reinvent" yourself in the middle of the year?
As long as its a good look and it makes you happy.. it's a good thing!!

Q: ok well for school we have to wright a persusive essay about something we feel strongly about adn i choose to wirght about abortion..well i was thinking that i dont really no that much about it but that it kills an innicoent child adn what it says on the internet..but i really need peoples opinions about why they are for or against it...i really need this nad its due tomorrow yes i no stupid to do things last min. but you no i forgot..

I am pro-choice.
It's ultimately your descision to get sexually active, and what choice you make if/when you get pregnant.
Some teenagers think they are emotionally ready to get sexually active, but a lot of teens just think that they're ready because they're caught up in the love rush. A lot of times it happens when they get bored with the first degree sexual activity and want to go to "home plate".

I think that if the teen feels she is not ready for a child, then abortion is an ok way to get out of pregnancy and the responsibility taken on at an early age.
A lot of websites that are pro-life are exaggerating the facts and stating their opinions. Pro-choice websites are stressing their opinions too. You need to find a happy medium between these two to see what you really feel is right.
But personally, I am pro-choice because if you make a mistake and you don't want the responsibility or you want to live a normal life, then abortion might be a good choice for you. But to erase this problem from my slate, I'm going to stay a virgin until I'm deep in a relationship and I'm financially stable enough to take the risk.

You're not a nerd.
People who take orchestra like playing an instrument better than singing or any other music choice. Even popular people are in my orchestra class.If you are good at it and like it, it should be okay! As long as it's not your life.. aka you have other interests like sports or drama or something.. you're not a nerd!

I'll make it plain and simple.
If someone tells you info about your crush, go to him and ask him if its true. If you can't talk to him, why are you gonna go out?
Don't listen to people who tell you these things. They're jelous and they want to ruin your relationship most times.
Just talk to him. He might be nervous. Wait it out.

Q: I have been dating my boyfriend for alittle over a month and we are starting to fall for eachother alot. Last night he told me that he was scared because I have so much power over him and that he was scared that I might lead him somewhere wrong. What does this mean? I really don't understand!

He cares about your relationship. He wouldn't mention it if he didn't want it to last.
You should talk to him and ask him what you can do to let him have a little more power. Maybe his personality's just like that.
But give him a chance and it will work out!

Life is like a wheel of fortune. It spins on the top and then on to the bottom.
You never know how long the wheel is going to spend in each place.
We all have our ups and downs.. but what's great is to have someone.. like a best friend to talk to. Maybe your on your period right now or itz soon and you're overemotional..
maybe you're just like this anyway. Just live your life and i promise, it will get better. Always look forward to the top of the wheel.

I'm sorry.
This happened to me last year.
It would really help if you would put your age because if you're like a 6th or 7th grader than i can base it on immaturaty and lesser expierience.. but if you're 14 or 15, then you have some socializing issues.

But what I would say is right off the bat NEVER LET YOUR FRIENDS IN ON ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS OR ANY OTHER CRUSHES!!!

I let them last year and they screwed it up.
If you're too shy to talk to him, wait a month or two until the whole thing blows over and he forgets. Then try making small talk. Over time you guys will develop some kind of distant friendship.
But I can't guarantee you anything.

I feel that if you can't fix this up by yourself you're not mature enough and emotionally stable enough to have a bf or anything more serious than an elementary school crush.
That's just my opinion.

I know this won't help you much in the short run, but in the long run it will turn out well.. hopefully.

Q: whats the fastest way to get rid of a white head(like a pimple)

Take a pair of REALLY REALLY REALLY pointy tweezers. Gently get the cap off.
When you do, squeeze the shit out of it.
When pus/zit crap starts coming out, get the tweezers back out and pull it out and wipe the tweezers with a piece of (clean) tiolet paper.

Continue until you get the hard core part of the whitehead. After that part it will bleed, so take another piece of clean toilet paper and apply pressure to your new wound.

Let it heal. DO not pick off the scab unless you didn't get everything a few days later. After it scabs over, it may still be red, so you can apply makeup to it.. but only after it scabs over or else you might get a relapse.

*well me and my ex boyfriend "mike" have been broken up for 9 months now! we talk about once a day or sometimes every other day! we have hung out quite a few times..and this is where the problem starts
*last night he came over and picked me up at my house around 10! he lives like 30 mins away from me so the whole time we were driving he was just kinda flirting with me..like making fun of me and stuff! well we were going to his friends house to get him and then gonna go bowling but his best friend was there and he doesnt like me so we didnt go there..instead we just went to mcdonalds! he kept asking me if i wanted something but i said no! well he got something and while he ate we sat in his truck and just talked..he kept staring at me and i was like what and hes like can i not look at you! and he kept calling me turtle lip which is what he called me when we went out! well then we left and went to his house and i started playing with my hair and
he was like whats wrong? i was like nothing and hes like what are you thinking about and i was like nothing and he was like dont lie to me i know better..well i didnt wanna talk about it! so we get to his house and he undoes his seatbelt..he looks at me and goes do you think it would really work out? i was like i really dunno and he was like honestly and i was like i dunno maybe! well i told him i was cold so he moved the thingy in the middle up and came and cuddled with me! well he was rubbing my feet for a while and he knows i love that! then he layed his head on my chest and was listening to my heart beat! well then he looked at me and was like can i bite your lip and i was like why and he was like i want to so i was like sure..so he did..then he layed his head on my chest again and just stared at me and was like can i kiss you so i was like i guess so we kissed! and that happened quite a few times! he kept trying to hold my hands and hold me in his arms! well i got up for a sec so he laid in my spot! well i was like fine ill go in the back and he was like no lay on me so i did! the seat belt thing was in my way so i went to the back..so he came back there with me and of course we cuddled and ended up messing around! weve hung out several times before this and weve never touched eachother like that or cuddled/kissed or anything! well then it was 1:30 and his dad was like you need to take her home! ya it seems awesome i know..but heres where it doesnt make sense! today he was on AIM and imed him (he was away though) and i was like you know things are gonna be hard now cause i cant get over him at all..and he signed off so i was like what the heck! so i got on myspace and he was on so i was like whatever cause sometimes it just leaves it on! then again later i got on it and he was on it again but he wasnt on AIM so i felt like he was avoiding me! so i called him and was like why are you ignoring me and he was like im not im watching a movie ill ttyl so i was like whatever! and he hasnt been on AIM all day..sometimes hes not but its kinda weird! i dunno if its just me or if hes ignoring me! i guess my question is what should i do? let go or keep trying? keep in mind he is my 1st love but i have been trying for 9 months.. how do you think he feels? do you think he really likes me and is scared to tell me or fall me or what? ughhh someone please help me! thanks so much

This is kind of hard.
I know you like him again.. but I think that maybe he was falling for you again. Maybe he didn't want to fall for you again, but he had you in a great spot, you guys had a good time and all, but I think he's shy after it because you guys broke up and he needs to think "Is this really what I want to do?"
Relationships are difficult, so he's probably smart thinking that, if he is thinking that. I'd just wait it out. MAybe he broke up with you because you didn't give him space. Maybe you should give him some space and not bother him about it for a few days, but still talk to him, but avoid the subject for a while. Ask him in a week or something, and maybe he'll have thought it out and he might be able to answer your questions.
Boys have complicated minds, even though it might not seem that way (lol). I say, just give it some time.

Q: Ok, so I have a friend, Trevor. He's everything that anyone would want in a guy.. Curly blonde hair, big blue eyes, a 6 pack, smart as poindexter, nice, funny, and he plays any sport under the sun: Tennis, Basketball, Football, Badminton, Cross Country, and Surfing. I used to have a crush on him a couple months ago, and he had a crush on me, too, but at the time he had a girlfriend. Then about a month later it seemed as though our feelings for eachother totally went away. Then one day we were talking on the internet, and he recently found out that I asked out a person from our tennis team, Marshall. He asked me, "Are you going out with Marshall?" and I go, "No, but I asked him out" and he totally freaked out about it and seemed mad at me because I did it..

But my question for you is: Does he still like me? Does he still have feelings for me? When we talk to eachother its normal - we're friends. But when I have a crush on someone, its a whole different story.

Q: i use acnefree and when i put on the toner, i use a cotton ball and the toner goes right through the cotton ball so when i try to put it on my face it basically dried out ..if you know what i mean.. what can i do to prevent this? is it the type of cotton balls im useing because i used to try proactiv and it worked just fine for me?

I'd use a wad of toilet paper (unused lol) or a tissue or a gauze pad.

Q: I'm getting braces October 3rd and I need help. Do they hurt? What color bands should I get? (I'm kind of preppy, brown hair and eyes.) What should I eat afterward? And all the other things about braces.

I have brown hair and eyes and teal is one of the best colors for brunettes with braces. Don't get any pastel colors because they make your teeth look really really yellowish. But either pick teal or any color that's NOT a pastel. Also don't get white or clear. Food stains them and they end up being this wierd pink color.
Eat applesauce, yogurt, and drink NOTHING that requires a straw. also take asprin before you get them on. They will hurt really bad the first time, but they hurt less and less the longer you have them on. Just eat as much gum and popcorn as possible and DON'T eat stale tootsie rolls. That's orthodonture suicide. lol
They will suck, but be happy that in a few months- a few years you'll have perfectly straight teeth for the rest of your life!

Q: Im trying out for drama club and we have to do an improv for tryouts. So I have to give a lecture about something(like a mom telling her kid to get better grades, a police telling a driver they're going to fast, etc) But the problem is, the lecture wont be directly to someone else, just thin air! You yell and give a good lecture. I did it in front of the whole 4th grade (the year b4 us) and it was so much fun.

The topic will probably be something like that.. so think of what the person in real life would do it.
It's hard, picking it out of thin air like that.. but just trust your instincts and if you are confident, then you will do real well (I'm in drama too!)
