i am 15 and going to be a sophmore at my highschool. and i guess me and robbie had a crush on eachother in 5th grade and we went out in 6th grade and 7th but on and off ( you now how those middle school relationships are, dont mean anything) but i guess its funny because we even talked in middle school after elementary and he IMed me the other for the first time since like 8th grade.. but we have been talking online the last couple of weeks and lastnight he asked me to hangout sometime next week. we will probably end up going to see a movie or sumthing but honestly ive never really been on a date. ive had serious relationships but i mean we didnt go on dates first, i dont know how to explain it. so i need some ideas on where to go, what i could wear, and some stuff to talk about. thanks alottt (link)

You could go to the movies, like you said. Thats always a really great place for a first date. If you do that, maybe you can go out to eat somewhere afterwards that way you guys can talk. Another good place to go on a first date is bowling. I know it sounds corny, but its a lot of fun & you're more relaxed since you're having a good time.
About what to wear - its really up to you. Dress cute, but comfortable. Jeans & tank top/ cute shirt. Just about anything! You could even wear a cute jean skirt & a tank top or a cute shirt. It's really up to you. I don't really know what your style is like...but just make sure you feel comfortable.
What to talk about - just be yourself! Talk about things you would normally talk about with your friends. Talk about movies, music, or just anything that you're interested in. Chances are, he's nervous too.

Just be honest with him.
Tell him that he's your best friend & that you don't want anything to ever happen to mess that up & if you went out & ended up breaking up, things might change & you don't want that.
Since he gets depressed easily, tell him that there are plenty of girls who would be happy to go out with him to make him feel better. Then hang out with him not too long after telling him. That way he knows that nothing has changed with your friendship.

A (14/F)- a really good friend of mine, shes very sweet & she really likes me, but she lives pretty far away & her & I always have diffrent scheduals, shes liked me for a while, & shes sort of weird at times, but I stayed up untill 4 A.M. talking to her 1 night... so I really like to talk to her...
S (14/F)- my ex., shes really pretty & really sweet, but her & I broke up after her dad died cos she sort of went crazy for a while, & I hadn't exactly been a good boyfriend cos I had alot going on in my life at the moment... & so I understood, but I like her alot, & I think she might like me to cos I heard from her best friend (S & A are best friends, but they both a another best friend Steph. so there just all 3 best friends) that she & A were arguing over who would go out with me (afew days ago, me & S broke up afew months ago) & S was on the phone & kept saying "shut up!" & so yeah... but she lives far away too, & shes bi, but it really dosen't bother me that much
B (13/F)- ok... this is where it gets weird... shes a friend of mine's cosin, but they live in Florida (I live in Texas) & I just started talking to her afew days ago & she said she really liked me & felt like she could talk to me about anything & that she just about loved me, & said she wish I was there with her, & then she asked them if she could come to Texas next month with them & they said yes, so I'll be meeting her next month (they might even stay at my house cos thats what they did last time they were here), & I really like her, but she lives SO far away, & my friend sort of seemed protective of her the other day, cos he was saying "yeah, I love 'her name'" & so it just sort of made me think... maby I should back off... but I don't know
& I just don't know what to do or who to choose or what ever...

Ok, well I can't tell you WHO to choose because you should always follow your heart & not do what other people tell you, but I can try my best to help.
A: You're really good friends & you like talking to her, but you said she acts weird sometimes. If you had a relationship, you might get annoyed by her being weird.
S: She sounds like the one you're more interested out of A & S & she doesn't seem to do anything that annoys you.
B: You really like her but she DOES live far away. Yes, you would be able to see her every once in a while through your cousins - but long distance relationships are VERY difficult to maintain & a lot of the times, you end up fighting with them a lot more.
If I were you, I would go with S & you could still stay very good friends with the other 2. However, that is just my opinion. You should always follow your heart. It's just a matter of asking yourself: who means the most to me?

Sorry it's so long, but I desparately need help. This is an easy 5 because there's so many things I need help with. Alright, I've asked a bunch of questions on how to get my crush to like me, and it looks like I just need to ask her out! I need some help doing that, though. First: I want a nice special way to deliver it, like they did at the end of Bye Bye Birdie. Can someone help me there? Also, someone suggested writing a poem for her, I suck at poetry, can someone give me tips? Besides, her name doesn't have any rhymes.... Then there's my parents. They've been betting on whether I'm gonna get a crush before my best friends (we're all nerds) and obviously don't know about me and my crush. How can I tell them? Note: I'm a shy person. Come to think of it, where's a good place to ask her out to? I don't really see any worthwile movies out apart from the Aristocrats, which I can't see until I'm 17. So what's a good place? Dinner? Bowling?
And finally, there's rejection. What happens if she says no? I'm a shy person, and I really don't want to have her say no... I mean, she said she liked me as a friend when I told her I liked her, and instead of getting over her, as time passed, I thought about her more. I've been devastated since, and this is the only way. I think it would be really cute to write her a poem or a letter & give her flowers. Since you said you aren't that good with poetry, you could write her a letter explaining your feelings for her & ask her out in the letter, but have her read it in front of you. If she says yes, give her the flowers afterwards so it doesn't seem like a bribe to get her to say yes.
About your parents: I would just tell them that you really like someone & you're going to take the next step & ask her out, so they might as well quit betting!
I think going bowling would be better than going to dinner because you'd be more relaxed & then maybe afterwards you can hang out at your house & thats when you can give her the letter (that way you don't have that many people around).
If she says no (which I'm sure she won't!) try not to worry about it. Atleast you tried! Otherwise you would always wonder "what if". I don't think she'll say no, but remember - if she does: you seem like a great guy & I'm sure anyone would be happy to go out with you!! Good luck hun! so im 14/f and i got contacts like 2 days ago. and i start high school on tuesday. im gonna be a freshman anywho. i look like a total GEEK with my glasses on and the problem is i cant get my contacts in. but when other people put them in for me im okay. i can poke my eye and stuff but idk why i cant put contacts in. can some one give me any good tips on how you can put in your contacts?

If you're putting the contact in your right eye, put the contact on the finger of your right hand. Then take your left arm & put it above your head so that your fingers are hanging down near your eyelid. Take your fingers and slowly pull your eyelid up. Then with the hand that has the contact on it, pull down your bottom eyelid with your middle finger & put the contact in. Sorry if that was confusing! has anyone here graduated early, or is trying to? see, last year i took a class most people in my grade didn't, and will take next year. so i'm already ahead in math for most people in my grade, so i don't have to double up. but i'm thinking of doubling up on a lot of stuff. i might take 2 maths next year as a freshman (geometry and algebra 2) and whatever i need to do to graduate early. so, how do i go about doing this? i'm really not sure. and if you have, how much earlier did you graduate? is it really hard?
the reason i want to graduate early is because i moved here a few years ago (from Florida to Maine) and I really really hate it here. I've tried to like it, and it didn't work. And while you're young, you're supposed to really enjoy it, and this is supposed to be the best time of my life, supposably. But it hasn't been since I moved here. So I just need to get out of here asap. Like, I'd rather go to high school back down in Florida, but my parents obviously aren't going to move back down there just because I want to, so I have to wait until I'm out of high school and everything, I guess. Yeah, help?

My friend's older sister graduated a year early. She took all accelerated classes & she didn't have any study halls. She also took classes during the summer so she wouldn't have to take them during the school year. In the beginning of 11th grade, she almost had enough credits to graduate & by the end of the year, she was able to graduate early because she had the required amount of credits & she had a decent GPA. ok i like this boy and i have probably talked to him 6 times in a year. i have liked him for 2 years now and lots of people have told him i liked him but he thought they were lying so he didnt do anything about it. i just talked to him today about his classes and and we had our laughs but other than that how do i become more than just someone he see everyday and only talk to 6 times a year. i just want to be his friend first but i get really nervous and then i dont talk to him. like i said i dont have to be his girlfried just someone he would like to talk to or someone he can trust! please help!

I would just try to talk to him more && just tell him that you would like to become friends with him. Thats usually the best way to go about it. I'm sure after a while you guys will talk a lot more && then he'll be able to trust you && you'll be able to trust him. If you're doing all you can to help, there isn't really anything else that you can do except continue being there for him.
Maybe he likes you && he just doesn't know how to tell you. Sometimes when someone is going through a tough time && someone else takes the time to help them out, they end up developing feelings for the person. So, you never know - he could like you && just be too shy to do anything about it. I would just hint around about who you like && see if he catches on! If he does, take it from there. Before doing anything really drastic, I would just ask her about it. Ask her why she hasn't told them & let her know that you want to be able to do things with her. Maybe then she'll talk to them & you'll be happier with the relationship. If she doesn't tell them, I would try hanging out with some of your friends & inviting her & her friends. I'm sure her parents wouldn't mind her hanging out with a group of friends. Sooner or later, she's going to have to tell them & I'm sure she will eventually! Just give it time! You should ask him who he likes & then hint around about who you like & see if he catches on. This usually works for me & I just give really obvious clues about who I like. If he catches on, then you can find out if he likes you. If he doesn't (even after making it really obvious), he might just be pretending like he doesn't catch on so he doesn't make things awkward between the two of you. Hope everything works out! My ex boyfriend and I still have feelings for each other. The only reason we broke up was because of an Instant Messanger Misunderstanding since someone always goes on his screenname. Well, he has a girlfriend who he only likes as a friend (which I think he got to make me jealous.) He and I want to get together but I'm afraid I'm going to get hurt? So should we keep ourselves a secret, should we tell his girlfriend about us, or should I just tell him its not a good idea? We really like each other. So any advice would be great. If he doesn't really like his girlfriend, it isn't right for him to continue seeing her. By doing this, he'll only be leading her on & make her have false hope for something that will never happen.
If you two still have feelings for each other, I would just try again & see what happens. The feelings are obviously still there for a reason. If someone always goes on his screen name, I would just have a code or something with him. For example - tell him to say a certain word or phrase when it's him on the screen name. If he doesn't say it when you think he's on, then you'll know that it isn't him & you can avoid any future misunderstandings.
