okay a few questions.
let's say i'm going on a first date with either;

- a good friend that i've known since ever.
- a blind date
- or someone i know for not so long.

do i kiss on the first date?

If you feel chemistry then yes.
However, if you just kiss him/her just because
you think its expected of you (even if you don't like them) then don't.

There aren't any rules that say you have to.
Its totally up to you, if you think you
two had a good time then kiss him/her. But
remember, a kiss on the first date is a sign
that you are willing for a second date. Make sure you're not sending him/her the wrong sign.

I have a Sansa e200 mp3 player and I need to know two thigs:

Hi there :)
I just got the Sansa e200 myself.
Is yours the Rhapsody one too?

(Make sure your Sansa is plugged in to do this)
If it is, use the Best Buy Digital Music store program. (It should come on the CD that was given with the Sansa) In the upper left hand corner click on File, then go down to "Add tracks to my library" From there, look for your file where all your music from Windows Media Player and from Bearshare.com is, then click 'Yes'

This will get all your songs onto the My Library section. (The MY LIBRARY button will be on the far left side of the screen, in the boxe that says Sources"

Once you have all your songs under "My Library" you can put them into a play list by clicking New Playlist.(In the Playlist box, below the Sources box) To put the songs into the playlist, click on the first song under My Library and hit Ctrl and the letter A at the same time to highlight all the songs. Then drag the whole library and place them on the new playlist you created.

Then go down to the far left side of the page, about halfway down (In the Playlist box) and open up your playlist. Once again click on the first song and use Ctrl+A to highlight all of them, then click "Transfer to Device" it'll be on the right hand side, a little more then halfway up the page, in between the buttons "Share" and "Burn a CD"

Then it'll upload them onto your Sansa.

alright so me and this boy have been hooking up. not having sex but hanging out and getting really close and we have done stuff. well he has this ex g/f. and shes like crazy stalkerish. he told be that they have been broken up for like 3 weeks. well she made him a myspace and everything and it said they were still goin out. well i asked him and he said no they werent. well then on his myspace he took down all the pics of them kissing and put single on it. so i added him. well then i just seen that he deleted me and there are pictures of them kissing again. and she put on there she loves him. and it says in a relationship. but i really dont think that its him on there. i dont think he would go back out with her. i think its her on his myspace putting things on there. me & him were supposed to hang out today but i dont know if i should call him. i know he likes me. like on saturday night i was supposed to go to a party he was at but i couldnt find a ride. he did everything in his power he could to get me a ride. he walked in on this naked guy and begged him to come pick me up. plus i was in the other room and i heard his friend say something about me and my guy was like "im in love with her". should i still call him and hang out with him?

When it comes to MySpace you can never be sure.

I'd talk to him about getting rid of

i really like the phone, but my dad said if i want i could get the sidekick 3.

im really undecided because the sidekick 3 is really cool, my friends have it and i'm in love. it's also huge which is a downside because it's hard to carry. my phone is big enough, and i'm not sure if i want anything bigger.

i hear that t-mobile is a bad service. but is that true and why?

i need the downsides and ups for the side kick 3.

this is a huge stressful decision for me so try to pursuade me with the goods and bads.

My brother has the LG Vx9800 and I love it, I use it all the time. He used to have the Sidekick until he got sick of having to carry something so large around like you said.

Also, he didn't get great service with T-Mobile, he could barely get service at our house. With Verizon, he found it much easier to get service.

He also complained about how tacky it looks actually TALKING on the phone with the Sidekick, which I do agree. Its fun for texting, but other then that .. its kinda weird.

The sound quality, overall quality, and picture quality were also better with the LG.

So I would deffinitley go for that one.

Honestly it depends on the person and the style of the pants. I think jeans should be worn slightly above the hips to prevent muffin top. On me thats almost 4 inches below my belly button.

If they are hipsters, those are to be hugging your hips, lower then normal. Same with low-rise pants.

Dress pants however, should be worn a tad higher, almost 3inches below belly button.

Nothing should be worn withing 1-1.5 inches of the belly button though.

Okay, I have a family friends christmas party to go to. Its supposed to be casual, but still dressed up. Does that mean its okay to wear jeans, a nice top and heels? I dont know how to wear my hair or a good outfit to wear. I dont want to be TOO dressed up or too casual. Whats a good balance?

Jeans, a nice shirt, and heels sounds great.
Also, you could try courdaroys (sorry about spelling) with a nice top as well. Thats always a great winter choice. As for your hair, if your shirt is short sleeve, soft waves or straight hair. If your shirt is long sleeve, try an updo to balance out the length of the outfit.

Just Listen and Someone Like You are both books by Sarah Dessen that rely on friendship to get through hard times. I loved both boths more then anything, so I'd recommend those.

For quote sites I go to xanga.com then search Quotes under blogrings, you'll find TONS of sighs to help you out there. Also, the same for icons, if you type Icons in instead of quotes.

As for songs, the only one I can think of would be "I'll be there for you" The friends theme song.

My favorite quote is "Friendship is like peeing in your pants, everyone can see it, but only you can feel it"
Kinda silly, but you get the point =]

Also for your scrapbook, if you have any ticket stubs or anything of that sort from places/things you've done together, that'd be great to add!

okay so i hang out with this guy all the time and last night it was clear that he wanted to kiss me and he hinted at it but i just couldn't do it! i wanted to, but i think i was afraid i'd suck at it or something.

it, so try to relax. I've been in your sitaution
before, its not fun.

Most likley, the guy will be more happy to
kiss you then to judge how well you lip-lock.
So, when you get the chance lean into him.

first, therefor don't shove your tounge into
his mouth.

The teacher is going to yell at me once I get back to school because I didn't do my work in this group project.

It was to write a big poem about something. So yeah, I had these 2 girls in my group to work with. They already got started. and .. well I can't work with them!

They weren't speaking ENGLISH .. and I don't know spanish! They both are like best friends so I couldn't butt into the conversation.. (I'm uber shy x3554343 :[)
And they were working on their own and each person had to write 3 stanzas.. but I had no clue what they wrote.
So i didn't want to repeat and get in trouble..

Is it really my fault?

They both got up and walked away right in the middle of it. They both worked together and forgot about me.

Well for one, if they aren't speaking english then this isn't your fault. So yes, you should go talk to your teacher and tell her that you are in an American classroom and you wish to work in English. [Okay so maybe a little nicer, that might get you into trouble depending on your teacher] I'm sure she'll understand if you don't even speak their language.

I do recommend you writing three stanzas though just so it looks like you did something. If there was a given topic, just try your best to write about that. If there wasn't one, try writing about something you like [IE; nature, art, sports etc]

I really wanna boyfriend, but I think I'm sometimes self conscious about myself/the way I look or act, etc when I'm around guys. If i dont know them that well, I'm kind of shy or something.. but if im comfortable with them than I'm myself. I know that if i can never break out of my shell around guys that I'm not comfortable with I'll never have a boyfriend. How can i get past this shyness or self consciousness?

Just, smile to begin with.
Once you've conquered that, talk more.
Just little things like "How are you, whats up?"
From there the conversation should start
flowing. Honestly if you stop to think about
how your hair is, or if your make up is messed
up things will only go downhill. So just take
a breath and relax. The more your smile, the better off you'll be.

Once you're more comfortable, try
telling a joke or saying something funny.
Guys are just like girls plus or minus
a few parts, so don't think of them as some
whole other species from a different planet.
[Although they do go to Jupiter to get more stupider] Hah, sorry there.

Just chill and enjoy time with the guys.
Overcoming shyness just takes time and
confidence, try the whole "Five-good-things-about-myself" method, that usually helps.

okay so..this is probably going to be long. sorry!. but anyways umm one day at school i was walking and then this guy was walking with his friend (btw were all in the same grade(10th) as far as i know) so i was walking by them and the guy pushed his friend into me..?( i dont know why) and then again today i was walking to my bus and this other friend of the guy just came up to me and like hugged me.( came out of nowhere, theyre really random) i dont know why i dont even know the guy and his friends. it seems to me that theyre like picking on me =[ and i dont know why. i hate being picked on this has never happened to me or are they just kidding around? but why would they joke around i dont even know their names and who they are. do they seem like theyre picking on me or because one of the guys friend like me or the guy likes me? but i mean i dont know why they would like(crush on me) me im not pretty and tall. im just average an average looking girl, average height, im quiet, not too quiet, people say that im really nice =] i dont know why theyre doing this they dont know me. please help cause i dont know what random thing theyre going to do next. i dont wanna be embarassed i mean i dont wanna tell my parents or my counselor about this cause it will cause drama and i hate being in dramas. please please help me!! theyre so immature cause were in 11th grade

Like you said, they're immature.
They're just being stupid and annoying.
Just, brush it off.
Give him a weird look or something if he does
it again. There is a chance one of them might
like you, but just wait and see what they do
before you assume that.

my brown hair is ugly, broing, wavy, curly, knotty, etc. im very lazy when it comes to using a flat iron because it takes me too long. r there any specific shampoos, conditioners, flat irons, etc. that wouldnt take so long? i really need to make a change

Why not try to embrace your waves?
This will save you time and can be totally cute.
Wash your hair thoroughly then once out
of the shower get rid of any excess water.
Then apply a frizz serum or cream. (I use Pantene ProV Smooth Start) Scrunch it in for better effect. Once your hair has dried some
you can either apply more scrunching mousse or
curl a few pieces with a 1inch curling iron.
Be sure to hairspray when you're done!

Or; if your hair is long
you could go get it cut and ask
the stylist if he/she has any other
ideas that will work for your hair.

I was wondering if I should dye my hair light blonde.
Currently, my hair color is chill plum, and is a loreal color mousse, so it's not permanent.
My natural color is a medium-dark brown. Should I wait till the purple is gone, or is it okay if I do it now?

Wait until the purple is gone;
But going for a light blonde might be too
drastic to do all at once.
Try highlights first!
That could lighten up your hair and give
you a sense of whether or not you like
the lighter look on you.

Then if you do like it, go for the blonde.

I asked this question before but I believe I rephrased it now. I have been thinking about suicide for about a year and a half. Now I am really over the limit. My parents won't pay attention to me, I have no friends that will listen to what I say, I don't see any point to living, I am a terrible person and I feel I don't deserve to live. I really don't care about my family, friends, pets. I just find no way to like love them. Are there any sites that can help me get through this? I know it's a bad thought, I'm afraid I might actually go through with it and I just need some help. I'm not going to sit here and lecture you about needing to survive, I've never been in your situation there for I do not fully understand the feeling so I won't pretend like I do.

It sounds as though you have depression.
[You probably already recognized that]
Depression is a chemical imbalance, NOT a reason for death. If you can, tell your parents how you feel, but I know, thats probably not much of your favorite option.

Heres a number my cousin called when she had suicidal thoughts; 1-800-SUICIDE. She called in anonymously, she talked, they listened. She struck up a friendship with one of the operators and is still living today. She's graduated college and is about to be married.

You are not weird, you are just struck with a diesease. Suicide isn't the answer, which you probably know also. I fully recommend you calling that number. They understand what you're going through, and they know how to help more then I could ever try. I won't sit here and feed you false ways to become happy because I do not know how to handle the situation. So, consider calling that number please.

Hair: Pantene ProV Ice Shine, many of my friends use it and they love it. Also, rinse your hair for a FULL 2 minutes in the shower, the residue totally dulls hair. Try not to condition too much either, this can also dull hairs luster.

For the lips, theres not a whole lot you can do. Lip liners and darker colors only make lips look larger. So try a sheer color or play up your eyes more to direct attention to them instead of your lips.

For your eyes, the darker the smaller. Put liner on the upper/lower inner lids then put mascara on the top lashes. Be sure not to overdo it, you don't want to look trashy and cheap.

For the singing, I'm not totally sure. Personally, I'm not even into American Idol. I recommened looking up a local agency in your area or starting with voice lessons.

Try eyeliner on your bottom inner lid; also your top inner lid. [The top can be pretty hard, but its a pretty outcome.] Also, loads of mascara will help 'close' your eyes some.

Try not to overdo it, you don't want to look tacky and cheap. You could do the liner on the outside of your upper/lower lids, but that might enhance a more sluttly look if you do not do it properly.
