Q: Hi-
I'm not sure if this is the right place, but I need to report a columnist that should NOT be allowed to give advice.

Her username is eggyolkenema and her answers are just digusting. She's told 3 girls so far to become bulimic by throwing up their food. Here are some examples of questions she's answered:

Q: Does anybody by any chance know of good jobs for girls that are like 14 years old or whatever? I need a job, but not one that is a t a fast food restaurant. Does anybody know of any for 14 yr olds?
There are plenty of white vans with no windows touring the streets for young models your age. Hitch a ride and show them how hot you are. They will repay you with candy and kisses!

Q: i feel so young all my friends are turning 15 this year and i just turned 14!! were all in the same grade though. i just want to grow up to where in 16 so i can party and drive. my parents are so protective because im there only child and they dont want to lose me with all the murders and kidnappers and shit in the world. it upsets me. they think im still a little kid still and they treat me like im a little kid. does anyone feel this way what should i do??

Come home the following day wearing nothing but a leopard g-string and rollerblades. Skate around the living room a few times. Your parents will respect you and your new sexually liberated attitude and let you hump the night away.

I really think you should check out her column- she's violating a lot of rules.

Thanks for being concerned, but we like to give columnists a lot of freedom. She's being gross sometimes and a little sexual, but she's not being obscene. Most of the people we ban ask public questions that get in everyone's way... people who just come to the site, give unique advice (using complete sentences, I might add) and go on their merry way are alright.

Q: Hello. Before Advicenators did some work on this site (a couple of weeks ago) I have not been asked more than 5 questions.. Therefore, my ratings have gone down. I do not understand why this is happening so if you have any idea, do you think you could please tell me. Thank you.

We didn't really, we just banned the javascript and embed tags because they present a security risk. this makes it so you also can't have music, but advice columns don't need music anyway.

Q: Hi this is LilMia811. I just logged on, and found out that I got dropped from a level 2 moderator to a level 1. Why is that? I thought the rule was if you havn't been on the site for a week then your privalege of moderator 2 was taken away. The last time I was on was 9/27, thats only 4 days. So, why am I not a moderator 2 anymore?

I had to shuffle some people around, give others a chance, all that. No big deal, it's just that I felt there were too many moderators.

Q: Is there a limi on how many questions you can ask? Recently I've been asking a lotta questions about my boyfriend, they're not about the same thing but is it stll ok?

As long as they're very different questions, that's fine.

Q: How come im not a level 1 mod? ive been a member for over a month, ive updated my column in the last week, and i have a 4.3 rating, whats wrong?

Q: you suspended my account... not sure how long ago but i know you did. i really want to be a moderator but it says that if my account was suspended it has to be 6 weeks. i met every other reqirement. my rating is about 4.6 something. so basically i just want to know how long ago my account was suspended and when i could be a moderator.

Please read the moderator FAQ, there's a link somewhere that says "click here to make yourself a moderator" and that link will tell you exactly how long you have before you can be one.

Q: you really should really bleep out curse words on this site... way too much cursing. I mean I do it but, not as much as other people do. And i have a question. Is there any way to delete adivce that you've given someone and delete their rating as well?

You can delete advice using the "edit answers" link.

as for the curse words... we ask our moderators to rate questions down if we think the person used way too many bad words, but generally speaking we're for free speech here. Everyone's definition of "bad" is a little bit different. We try not to censor without a good reason.

Q: This is eggyolkenema and I have been suspended for a few days because of "excessively obscene questions and answers." While I admit I may have crossed the line a little bit, it was all in good fun and I didn't mean to offend people. But what I do not appreciate is your power hungry mod, LilMia811. She is acting all high and mighty by banning my account because SHE doesn't like my advice. You know what, plenty of people do like my column and how I answer the questions in my own way. Not everything has to be so lovey-dovey. Not only that, she changed all my feedback to 1 ratings only. You know what, that's just uncalled for. Those people that gave me good scores did like my advice. I'm sure they don't appreciate her messing around with my ratings.

So in closing, I understand the suspension of my account for a few days, but I don't understand this awful treatment. LilMia811 needs to be reprimanded for her actions. She could have just said she didn't like my advice, but playing around with my feedback is totally uncool and unnecessary. Just remember, advice comes in all shapes and sizes, and lots of people do like my column because it is funny.

I wouldn't have banned you, but I also don't reprimand my moderators. They do a lot of work that keeps this site running and we couldn't have advicenators without them. I'll talk with LilMia but please try to tone it down some... your advice column is somewhat racist and stereotypes black people. I'm reducing your ban so you can come back today.

Q: So, I got my Advicenators shirt today that I ordered and I love it. I was looking at other stuff to buy..and I really want a visor..but there's no visor available like in the hat section. I was wondering if you could make it so that one is available and have it says Advicenators ((it doesnt have to have that super women on it)). If you can't I totally understand, but it was just a suggestion cause I would so buy it. Thanks. Take care. :)

Q: I am having problems logging in. My username is Sunshine, but every time I try to get in, it would say Welcome,!, then I tried again and first it had welcome, Sunshine!, then there was a little glitch and it changed to welcome,!. I don't know why it keeps doing that. At first I thought that the Sunshine part just wasn't showing up so I tried to go to my advice column, and it brought me to Ask !. Then when I finally do get in, I get logged out automatically everytime I answer a question. If you could help me out, I would really appreciate it.

think up a good question and ask it! you can rate whoever answers you. if you didn't ask the question, you don't get to rate people.

Q: Alright, when you go into my advice column, it says that I have an average of 3.78, and that I have been rated 9 times. When, in reality, I've been rated 38 times and I should have an average of 4.4. Now, it wouldn't be so bad, but I don't like the fact that my whole average is thrown off by that. Not only that, but now I'm not a mod. anymore, when I really should be. Can anyone help me get my advice column to work properly again? Thanks

1) Do not ask me for life advice. We have several thousand other members that do that.

2) Do not ask for help, or ask how to do something, or ask about
how something on the site works, unless you've read every word of our help pages and you're sure it's not addressed there.

Some guidelines about suggestions:
If you offer a suggestion that I find interesting, I might just ignore your question so it stays in my inbox as a reminder of something to do. Don't be upset that I don't answer you, and don't delete your questions (because then I'll forget!)

If you have three suggestions, please ask three separate questions, that way I can address each one individually. It's a real pain when people ask one question with like twenty different topics in it; I can't keep them straight.
