This is a little difficult because you are friends with both of them. Do you like him? or is it that he just likes you? If you are flirting back with him he probably thinks you like him as more than a friend. But remember he is you friend's boyfriend. No offense if you do like him but he sounds like a real creep, if he cheats on your friend and flirts with you. You should tell him that you are friends and nothing more, and that when he flirts with you it makes you uncomfortable. Also tell your friend what is going on (If she already doesn't know) so she doesn't get the wrong story from someone else. The bottom line is boys should never affect your friendships.

You shouldn't need any excuses just tell him that you want to wait until marriage. Does it really matter to you if he is a jock or not? It really shouldn't. Kids are shallow and you should know by now that sterotypes are pointless. It's hard to do, but sometimes you have to let your friends make their own mistakes. You can try to talk people out of things all you want, but sometimes people need to experience things first hand to realize "Hey, this is really stupid and so and so was right"
However if your friend is doing something to harm herself or anyone else you need to tell an adult. But if she is not doing anything life threating then I would just let her make her own mistakes.
And if and when she does come back to you for help, don't say "I told you so" just welcome her back with open arms.

I'm telling you this from experience, and as a girl. Just tell her nicely that you would rather be friends. It's nice that you care about her feelings but by just drawing this out longer then it has to be, you will just end up hurting her even more. Just tell her that you value your friendship and if she still wants to remain friends you will always be there for her. She may need some time to think, so give her some space and she will most likely still want to be friends with you.

The guy I've been dating for almost 8 months now told me he loved me after we had dated for a month and a half. I knew that in my heart I loved him, but was skeptical at first that he loved me. It's hard to tell sometimes between love and lust, but one weekend this summer my boyfriend went to his cousins wedding in upstate New York and he couldn't call me, he finally got service by like leaning in the doorway of the lobby of the hotel or some other silly spot and called me and said "I miss you so much, I just laid awake thinking about you last night."
But you could ask some of his famliy or close friends, My boyfriend's mother said one night he came home and woke her up and said to her "This is it mom, I love her." and his friends say that they have never heard him talk about anyone like he talks about me.
So there is no real, definte way to know that he loves you other than just waiting for yourself to figure it out on your own. I know this sounds hard to understand but its true. Don't wait around for him to say something to you, because it might not be something like my experience, he might do little things that shows he loves you instead.

If the stain is new you could try the Tide to go pen. Oxy clean makes this spray for laundry that gets blood stains out really well, once I had a huge bloody nose and got it all over my light blue blanket, it got the stain all the way out.

I am 14 years old. I have tried to insert a tampon but it feels weird and it wont go in all the way!I dont know what to do and i dont know what im doing wrong.
It's a little tricky to get the hang of it at first but after a few tries its really easy. If you are a virgin you should probably try using a smaller size at first such as Junior sizes, Lites or Regular size. Then it is helpful to sit on the toliet with your knees apart, and relax. If your not relaxed it makes it harder to insert! so take a few deep breaths. Hold the applicator with your thumb and middle finger with your pointer finger on the bottom of the applicator. Insert the tip of the applicator (try to angle it towards your lower back) all the way,then push the bottom of the applicator with your pointer finger until you hear or feel a click, then remove the applicator. If its in right you wont feel it at all, if it feels weird take it out and try again. Don't worry its normal to have a little trouble.

I got a letter in the mail inviting me to become a People to People student ambassador and go on a trip to China in 2007. It says you have to be invitied to have a chance to be able to go on the trip. I think this is the deal, you go to a meeting and they tell you about it. Then if you decide to go you and your parents go to 6 orientation meetings preparing you for the trip. I just want to know if anyone else has heard of this and is it really and honor to be invited to do this, or is it a scam?? Also what do you think the price range would be for 17 daysin china with this orginization. By the way i'm 13 year old female.
I went to Europe with them the summer of 2001 for 14 days. It cost alot of money, and it wasn't worth the amount my parents paid. Don't get me wrong, I had a great time and if your parents have the money to burn I say go for it, but otherwise I would check with your school and look into being a exchange student, You can pretty much go anywhere in the world for a semester, a year, or a summer for alot less and really get to experience the culture of the place you are visiting. I wouldn't consider it an honor since I know alot of people who have gotten these letters. I really have know idea for how much it would be for china, you would have to go to the meeting and find out, but when I went to Europe it cost over $4,000.

So I'm a freshman and this will be my first homecoming (duh). What do people normally wear to homecoming? I don't want to go there and be over dressed. Do nearly all girls wear dresses? A rough percentage of girls that wear dresses to homecoming would be nice. So would pictures of what most of the dresses would be like (to help me determine how casual homecoming is.) I RATE!!!!
Most of the time Homecoming is semiformal which basically means no jeans. I always wear like a short cocktail dress from like DEB or JCPenny's, but some girls wear long formal dresses and then some just wear a skirt with a dressy top.

If this was my boyfriend, and this was the first time it happend I would forgive him. But I would make it very clear to him that if it ever happened again our relationship would be over. You should talk to him and explain that even though he is sorry, it still really hurts and that now it will take sometime for you to bulid up trust again. They make these puzzels that are just blank, and you could write a message on it and then give it to her and tell her to put it together. Or You could by a box of chocolates and you know how the candy is on little wrappers? you can put paper between the wrapper and the chocolate with one of the letters. Then as she eats the chocolate it will spell out H-O-M-E-C-O-M-I-N-G-?

Ok so I JUST turned 13 and I want to wear makeup. But I was wondering how can I put on makeup so it actually looks pretty, not slutty or trashy lol? I want to wear makeup for back to school. What kind of makeup should I wear and how should I wear it? I have light brown medium length hair with highlights in it from going in the sun, I have gray-ish blue eyes, and pale skin. Please tell me good makeup ideas!
Your features are the same as mine, so I'll just tell you what I do. But first, the idea is to look natural, so don't pile on layer after layer. You can just start with some concealer and blend it over zits or the bags under your eyes. Then apply some pressed powder on spots of your face that are shiny and oily [like your nose or your forehead] I don't like to wear lipstick or use lip liner, I wear clear lip gloss most days. For your eyes, again stay away from putting lots of eye make up on becuase it looks trashy and its sometimes hard to get off. I usually just wear mascara. My eyes are gray/blue so I like to wear brown eyeliner with a blue eyeshadow. Some times I will wear white eyeshadow with black eyeliner [but I only use the eyeliner on the bottom] I hope this helped.

I think you should wait. Honestly I don't think that at your age you are emotionaly mature enough to have sex. Sex is a serious issue. Would you be okay with your decision if he broke up with you? What type of protection would you use? What if it failed and you became pregnant? You need to talk to him about all of this. If you feel too embarassed about anything then you aren't ready to have sex. You will never regret waiting. No one ever says "I should have done it sooner"...I'm 16 and I'm in the same position you are. I told my boyfriend that I want to wait until the time is right, until I know that I am completely 100% ready, and he is okay with that. And your boyfriend should be too. True Love Always Waits.

Hey i am going to be a freshman this year and i am starting in a week i know there are a bunch of other questions like this but... i am really scared, when we had orientation i made like only 1 friend not even really... i have no friends going to the school i am going to! i do not know how to open my locker! and i have no clue where or when my classes are.... junior high was SO much easier!!! I came from a catholic school before this so it is WAYYYY different from classes to no uniforms and more!!! i am soo afraid of getting on the bus and sitting with no one and also very very very afraid of going to lunch and sitting by myself eating!!! i am terrified and i know i will get trampled in the hall ways... are there that many people in the hall way? like seriously is it full?? Ahhhh i am sooooo nervous not to mention i had a bad memory wif the boy across tha street and we will be getiing on the same bus! and he will be seeing me for like the first time up close in like 3 years!!! You are worrying way too much about this. Yes the hallways maybe crowded, and maybe you will have a hard time finding your classes, but a lot of the other freshmen will be feeling the exact same way!
You could always sit with one of your neighbors on the bus. Or if you dont want to do that just sit in an empty seat, when the bus fills up, someone will have to come sit by you and you can use that to make a new friend. But in all honestly sitting by yourself on the bus is kinda nice!
To open your locker:
lets say your # is 12-45-6
1. Spin the dial around a few times
2. Turn the dial to the right and stop on 12
3. turn the dial to the left and go past 45 once, on the second time around stop on 45
4. turn the dial to the right and stop on 6
5. Pull up on the handle thing
As for lunch, try to find someone from one of your classes earlier in the day. And if all else fails just go up to someone and introduce yourself and ask if you can sit with them.

Well I think that you shouldn't change really anything for anyone. But sometimes it is okay for you to need to change for another person. For example I wouldn't change my hair or my clothes or even my friends for my boyfriend, but I would change my attitude. I wouldn't change my whole personality as a whole but I would try to change myself for the better. Like my boyfriend gets mad when I complain about little things like it being hot or cold. So now I try to not complain as much around him.
