haha ya, another person asking bout homecoming
So I'm a freshman and this will be my first homecoming (duh). What do people normally wear to homecoming? I don't want to go there and be over dressed. Do nearly all girls wear dresses? A rough percentage of girls that wear dresses to homecoming would be nice. So would pictures of what most of the dresses would be like (to help me determine how casual homecoming is.) I RATE!!!!

yeah. girls wear dresses... usually right below or above the knees.. def not long to the floor.. thats too formal...

thats what mine looks like... but yeah.. if i were you. i would go to nordstrom.com and go to women.. then dresses and occasion.. then homecoming and there are a gazzilion of homecoming type dresses

Any of these would work for Homecoming. It's usually Prom that people go all-out for anyway, Homecoming is just a fun dance that people get a little dressy for and have fun.

Most of the time Homecoming is semiformal which basically means no jeans. I always wear like a short cocktail dress from like DEB or JCPenny's, but some girls wear long formal dresses and then some just wear a skirt with a dressy top.

They usually have a theme for it, so you can base what you get off the theme. Girls wear dresses sometimes, but not like anything like prom, just a cute little spunky dress. or you can wear a cute top with a skirt.
