I'm thinking about living in an apartment complex next year that doesn't have Internet access. They have cable TV and said that I could get Road Runner.

I just don't understand what the first step would involve with the coaxial cable being split outside.
Would it be easy for me to hook it up myself? How do I do it? An answer from someone that has done it before would be wonderful.

-to split a cable you get a little splitter connector, the main cable goes in one end and two come out the other. The main cable looks the same as the one hooked to your tv, and it's probably in your basement. You can probably buy it an an electronics store or home depot. You can only split a cable 4-5 times before the quality starts to degrade, though.
-you could probably hook it up yourself, though if the cable isn't already split and running into where the computer is, you'll have to run the cable up through the floor or wall. You can just have it sticking out of the floor, but if you need it looking neat you'll need to put in a cable outlet thing in the wall.
-technician fees are usually $50-70
-your best bet to split the connection is a router or a switch(which is a cheap router that doesn't work as good); if you have a wireless router, that'll work. If you are going to connect it using wires, be sure to buy an extra rj-45/cat-5 cable, it won't usually come with it
-If you mean the USB connection on the modem diagram, I would think you could not use them at the same time, though I'm not sure.

I'm about 5'5
and I weigh about 145-147 pounds.
Im not THAT fat[im muscular] but I do eat alot, but i eat alot of healthy things.
And I know how to loose weight but I always end up eating to much and then feeling guilty about it.
When I Do follow a good eating habit , I would eat a peanut butter and bananas and slim fast for breakfast, yogurt pretzels and raisins for lunch, broccoli and chicken for dinner, then yogurt and apples for snack.
How much weight would I be able to loose a week by that>?

For anyone out their who are into wichcraft this is the best question for you. I need to know how you make a broom fly. or if possible just fly. I am pretty sure their are ways to do it.
It might be possible to mentally make yourself fly, but it would take many, many years of intense training. You can't just say a spell and make it so. If you're just getting into witchcraft, you have to understand that nothing is saying spells, it's all about changing reality with your mind. It can take up to 3 years to train yourself to make something move with your mind(as in, move a paper across the table, not a book through the air), only those who devote their lives to this can hope to fly. The point is, that while it's possible to create much lesser effects with intense training, you will never be like the witches in fairy tales.

The profile is private. Go to the site and pause the song. Go to start>all programs>accessories>entertainment>sound recorder. Press record on sound recorder, then press play on the myspace song as soon as you can. It will record for 60 seconds, that'll be enough for someone to recognize it(there are ways to make it record longer, but it's hard and you don't need to). Save the recording. Go to upload2.net and upload the sound file you just created. After it's done uploading(it'll take some time) it will give you a download link. Copy this download link and go to tinyurl.com. i recently read this book called twilight by stephenie meyer and the sequel to it new moon (they were really awsome)
so i went on the authors website and it said something about a movie
so i went on youtube and there was alot of clips and stuff that seemed like the movie with the same actresses and then i read the comments and im not sure if there actually is a movie or people just made it. can someone tell me if there is? and also this has nothing to do with the other book but when does the next harry potter book comeout?

It all depends on how much money they think they can make from it. Stephenie Meyer will have absolutely no control over the movie, and probably will never talk to the people making it. ok well where do i start. when i was 12 my dad was my gero andi loved him more than anything, then he told me that he had been an alcoholic for many years and all the nights i spent with him he was drunk. my worl came crashing down and i still dont know how to get over it. On last year on thanksgiving week he went to a rehab to get better, and he did. Now i am 13 and still love my ad very much buti t seems like all of a sudden he just doesnt care about how many months he has been sober and just recently i evesdropp on my parents convos (puh lesse who doesnt) andi heard parts were he would say "i dont want her to smell it on my breath." usualy i would talk to my mom about it but she has been lying about thiss sitchuation. i cant trust them. and now today i heard my dad downstairs and i thought he was drinking something so i told my mom and she started talking to him and of corse, i evesdropped again b/c i dont want to not know things that are going on with my dad b/c i love and care about him. well i heard her go "we cant keep lying, they know, our kids know this" I really dont know what to do rite now and please dont say talk to them about it b/c for some reason i cant, and i dont know why i usually tell them everything it is just this sbject that i cant say anything about. PLEASE HELP!

The only advice I can give you is to talk to your parents. I know you don't want to, but It's the best thing you can do. The only one you can stop your father from drinking is your father. If you're uncomfortable talking to them about it directly, write them a letter or email, they'll understand.

alright yesterday a girl pantsed me, right in front of the class when i was sharpening my pencil as i walked past her. i took it lightly and pulled my pants up and joked about it for a while, then a half hour later she got up, and i pantsed her back..as a little revenge/joke thing, only she was wearing a thong and well, yah enough said.
i got sent to the principle's office and got suspended for 3 days...it just snowed here so today doesnt count, but still im going to miss monday, tuesday, and wedsnday, for pantsing a girl that pantsed me, (also, the girl went to the principle's office and stuck up for me saying that she had it comming)
yeah uhm what should i do???

Well, you really shouldn't pants girls, it's just not right. Though it is unfair she didn't get suspended. If you want her to get suspended or have your suspension removed from your record, it'll take a long time, and a lot of complaining. First you(or your parents) need to complain to the principal, if you haven't already. If that fails, talk to the superintendent. If that doesn't work you can talk to anyone that represents you in government(senator, mayor, governor, congressmen, etc.), but I think that's an awful lot of work for not much gain. I suppose you could try to take legal action, since it's discrimination against your gender, but you'd almost certainly lose and legal fees are extraordinary.

What's the differences between a Christian and a Baptist? there are two school where I live and I was wondering why don't they jsut call it a catholic school instead of saying christian,baptist.
Christian is a large group that includes all religions that belive in christ(CHRISTian). There a bunch of different groups that have slightly different belifs, such as lutherins, protestents, catholics, baptists, mormons, methodists, and many others. Go here for baptist info:

If you're referring to the seven deadly sins, watching a scary movie could include:
-lust(any time you try to have fun, you commit lust)
-sloth(any time you're not worshiping the lord, you commit sloth)
With the ten commandments, I don't see any problem. It doesn't say "you shall not think about or see murder" it says "YOU shall not murder". Of course, it also says not to make idols, yet churches are full of pictures(idols) of jesus.

I try to eat healthy, not like extremely low-cal or anything, cause I'm not trying to make myself skinny, but I just want to look like a normal, healthy person. Lately I have been eating a LOT at dinner time. I can't help it, I never feel full. I try to take my time when I eat, since it takes awhile for you to realize you are full, but I still am hungry. I eat a large breakfast ( about 500-600 cal) and about the same at lunch. I eat a snack when I come home from school, and I drink enough water. I have not gained any weight yet, but it's possible I could, the way I've been eating. I eat like two dinners every night now, sometimes like 1000 cal. What could be my problem, why am I getting so hungry now? How can I turn it around, or should I?
