On St. Patrick's Day it is my birthday. My family was planning to go to New York (I live in the Tri-state area so it's pretty close) to see the St. Patrick's Day parade (my brother is marching in it). 1) is it best to learn one foreign language at a time? or can i try to learn 2 at a time (japanese and spanish) ?

1)you should wait until your second year of a foreign language to try to learn another at the same time.

2)I would say both..

3)I don't think it's enough just by learning it online. You need some hands on experience to get a hold of the language. Just by going to a Spanish speaking country will teach you way more spanish than you would ever learn in a years worth of school or an online course.

4)To help you memorize the words, all you have to do is surround yourself with that language. It's the easiest way.

I'm 13 and at my school there's this guy that i like and he likes me too.His friends and my friend have been snooping around him and asking him all these questions. He said that he WAS going to ask me out but hasn't yet. Ok so there's this guys Shawn, and he doesn't live here. We have been off and on since the summer, and i'm so insecure about the relationship because all the other guys i've been with have been pricks. I never see him so i dont consider it a relationship..and i can't just be friends with him because i have stronge feelings for him, and it's not going to work ever again. But it hurt's so much when i see him sign on or talk or think about him. He was the first real guy that accepted my eating disorder and my cutting habbits. Well don't give up all hope with this guy. He obviously means so much to you and was such a big part of your life. You shouldn't just try to forget about someone who totally understood you. You don't find a person like that very often. And if it's meant to be, then you two will find a way to get back together eventually. Until then, try to find somebody else that you get along with. But I don't think you should get rid of everything that reminds you of him or has to do with him. Maybe hide everything that reminds you of him in a place that you'll never really see it. But in time, you'll get better. Trust me. I've had the same experience.

Well what I did was that I got a boyfriend and then slowly started to give them hints. Like talk on the phone and let them to know it's a guy or say you're gonna meet this guy somewhere. But make sure you don't exactly say it's a boyfriend. You're parents will definetly have their suspicions though. Sooner or later your parents will get used to you spending a lot of your time with this guy and they'll slowly but surely get used to the idea of you having a boyfriend. That's what I did and my parents ended up loving him.

I’m 14/f and no one have ever asked me out on a date.
