when you shave your vagina are, is wierd or normal to shave everything? i mean like completly bald i guess youd call it, i dont really know what im talking about but i need help. all thoughts appreciated..thnx
Nope it's not weird at all. A lot of girls shave down there (like so they can wear bathing suits and because some guys like it better shaved) and it's normal.
I live in a really small apartment with my mom and sister. Its not even a nice one either. The floors are a different color in each room, the walls are different, the tiles are coming off in the bathroom. Its a really clean apartment but just very ugly and i get embarressed to bring people over. I havnt had a boyfriend in a really long time becasue im afraid he will have to come over sometime and see what i live in.. a dumpster! I dont know what to do im reallu nervous about having one and then letting them see this place.
Clean up the place on your own a little bit. Ask your mom if she could help you paint the walls differently (paint isn't that expensive, and you can just do it yourself like what my mom does). If your apartment is clean, then at least people who come over won't get grossed out by it or anything.
About your boyfriend, if he really cares about you, he won't care much about where you live. As long as where you live is clean and good enough to hang out in, then he'll enjoy it anyway because he's with you.

Jordan, if you like him, just tell him. If you don't have feelings for him then explain that to him. You don't have to try to make him feel better, because then once you go out and he finds out you don't like him, that will make him feel way worse. Be honest with him and tell him exactly how you feel.

I'm 16 and I want to try contact lenses. My optician says it's all OK. I was just wondering if anyone had any really good/bad experiences with contact lenses they could tell me about, or if there are tips any of you might have? Are they really weird to get used to? I have a real thing about touching my eyes, I don't like it at all. Will I find this really difficult? What happens if you can't get it out?
If you can't touch your eyes, then you won't be able to wear contacts. It will bother you every time you put them on, so you have to be able to touch your eyeball in order to put contacts on. Contacts aren't so bad, and most of the time you can't even feel them.

I'm sorry if this is kind of long, but I have something on my mind that is REALLY bothering me, and I really need help on it ASAP! I rate high, so PLEASE help me.
Ever since eighth grade, my mom has been impossible at times. I remember the summer that I was going into eighth grade. It was the first time that I ever really started to communicate with guys because i go to an all girls school. so, i was about twelve or thirteen when I first started meeting guys, going to parties, and all that stuff. well, i really really liked this guy named JC. I was like in love with him. And he liked me too. But, my mother was so overprotective, that that whenever I was talking to him, she would sit next to me on AIM and told me everything I had to tell him. And she would sit next to me while I was on the phone and she had to hear everything that was going on. She never let me tell him that I liked him. And guess what? the boy lost interest and to this day I cry myself to sleep because that was my first love and my mother never let me even talk to him. Therefore, him and his best friend say that I talk like an old lady all thanks to her.
Time passed by and my heart was healed my new love, Rafael. Rafael healed me and I healed him. He has been like a blessing to me. I love him so much. but, now i am in high school. my mother should be giving me more priveledges and space and privacy. But, she sits by me even when I talk to Rafael. So, Rafael sends me a music video and he told me just to listen to the words of the song. So, I did. and the words were very sweet. But, the video had some material in it that my mother did not like. It had like contrivercial things in our society. and it wasnt evey like sex or anything like that. It was like weird people. so, anyways, she took it very personally and made me tell Rafael that I did not want to have anything to do with that. And now, when I told her that she should let me make my own decisions and that I want to be with Rafael and she should just let me do what I want, she says that I am crazy and that I have no dignity and self respect. I told Rafael that I didn't like the video and he said that he was sorry for it, but my mom is so overprotective of me!
And another thing that she does is that whenever I tell her something, she always has to tell like the entire world. She tells my grandmother, my aunt, and she even tells the hairdresser! and then she tells me not to tell my best friend since like 8 years anything about whatever.
I've already tried talking to her and it doesn't work. SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME!!!! TELL ME WHAT TO DO!!!! PLEASEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!! I'VE ALREADY TRIED TALKING TO HER! DON'T run away from home! Your mom loves you, and is just trying to keep you safe from anything bad. Even though you're comfortable with a guy, your mother might not be because she still considers you "her little girl". Tell her that you need your space in life, and that she should be able to trust you, and if she can't, then tell her that your relationship needs to improve.
As for her telling other people your business, explain to her that YOU don't tell other people HER business, so why should she do it to you? Tell her everything on your mind, but try to keep it a casual conversation. Don't poor out in tears and scream at her, but try your best to deal with it. Try to understand what she goes through also in life, and try to understand her stress also.
I can understand why you're upset, 'cause I would too, but she's your mother, and you have to respect her.

Don't ever say "I'm ugly". No one is ugly in this world, and there is always going to be people that will think you're beautiful, or ugly. That is what the world is like, and there's not a lot we can do about it. I suggest asking him how he really feels, and keep getting closer to him. If he is hanging out with your friend a lot, then he might have feelings for her also. Don't get into a contest with your friend either to try to get him, 'cause it'll make it weird for him too.
If he jokes and talks to you, then that means he likes being around you. If he looks at you, and then turns away when you look back, then that means he might think you're pretty and get embaressed when you notice him looking at you. Just be honest with him about your feelings, but don't try to scare him (like don't walk up to him and say, "I REALLY LOVE YOU!" 'cause that will kind of creep him out. Just be casual, and ask him how he feels. If he doesn't like you, just try to accept it. You can't make someone like you, and I've learned that during some hard times I went through with a few different guys.

i sweat alot and i use good deodarant but i find that i stink by the end of the school day and i wont take off my hoodie. whats hould i do?
I suggest that you: Take showers every day after school, put on deodorant EVERY morning (especially when it's a gym day), and bring deodorant with you in your backpack or something so it won't smell too bad. And it's pretty normal to sweat, so try not wearing hot sweaters until it gets really cold, so you won't be too warm and sweat.
My sister is my guardian and she told me last year that if my grades arent great then im going to a christian school..Now my grades havent been great and now i have to go but i realllllly dont want to.. so how can i convince her to let me stay in my school?.. this christian school is very small and has a really strict dress code! HELP ME!! ASAP!
Keep trying your best in school, and study really hard. I go to a Christian school, and honestly, it's not exactly the worst thing in the world, but if you really don't want to, keep trying to prove that you'll work harder. If she still says no, then you're gonna have to deal with it. I was soo mad and upset when I had to leave my school to go to the one I have now, but after awhile it got better and I made friends. Now I'm so happy, 'cause I have the bestest friends anyone could ever ask for. I'm so thankful now, even though I felt like hurting someone when I first found out (lol thank God I didn't) I had to leave my school. Good luck!!!

Uh, this is a pretty easy one. Since your lockers are close to eachother, just say "Hey," when you first see him. Or you could ask him a question about a class, teacher, or friend so it won't be just a random hello. If you're too nervous, just realize that he's a person too, and he also might get nervous about some of same things do.
ok hey, question for the girls. How would you feel if your boyfriend did something like this for you on Xmas. (by the way i am the male not the female lol) I get 2 roses, and put each in their own wrapped box. I think when you're old enough to get married is the right time to think about having sex with someone and actually trying to do it. I'm a Christian, and in my religion, I've decided to have sex after I get married, which I believe is what everyone should do. Or at least use protection if you're not married, so you won't have the risk of getting pregnant.

Uh .. if she smiles at you, I think it means she's happy with you (duh). Get to know her before you even think about her wanting to do "dirty things" to you. She might think you're cute and want to talk to you .. but save the dirty things for when you actually TALK to her and get to know her.
My boyfriend just asked me if it was alright for him to spend the night at his best friend's house. His four best friends are girls. there's gonna be two other guys, but I still don't really like the outlook on it; he's gonna be all night with 5-6 other girls.

If you're not comfortable with it, just tell him you don't really want him to. It's not dumb of you to be suspicious or upset that he's going to a sleepover like this, and I don't really blame you. I wouldn't want my boyfriend to do that either (even though I don't have one) so tell him how you really feel.
