Okay I am 40 weeks pregnant. I was due xmas day. I still have not given birth! What could be taking so long? I am becoming so miserable, uncomfortable and irritated, not to mention impatient. Please if someone has any suggestions please help!
this is completely normal. the "expected date" is more of a guide line, not an exact date. it has not been that long, so relax, you child will come soon. if you are stressed or anxious your baby can sense it and it may cause mental problems. my advice, sit down and calm down, this is normal.

has anyone tried those crest whitestrips? i was wondering when you put the whitestrip on top of your teeth, how does the bleach stay on w/o your tongue getting it off? and PLEASE tell me the truth: are they really effective? how much do they whiten?
yes, they work. but don't expect your teeth to go from yellow to dazzling white! they improve the color of your teeth and they stayed on for me. but, the whiteness will fade. after about 6-8 months the coloring is completely gone so if you do it once, be ready to do it again.

I don't eat. Is that retarded? No. It's not. I'm happy all of the time at school, and then I'm sad and "depressed" at home. I get mad at my parents a lot, I don't smile. At school, I'm happy all the time, people tell me I laugh a lot, and then i just smile all the time. I'm really sensitive: ex) I once saw a homeless man in front of the subway station. I gave him 5 bucks, and he said happy holidays. I turned around and said happy holdidays to you too. then i went into the subway station, saw one of my friends, and started crying into his shoulders. After like, 6 stops, I stopped, and he asked me what was the matter, and I told him everything. Then I said i was sad cause the guy WASN'T going to have a happy holiday. The next day, i went back with my friend and he held my hand and everything, and we gave the homeless man 10 dollars with a post it attached that gave him the address of a nearby soup kitchen. He said bless you. And then I started crying all over again. How messed up am I?
your not depressed your just another drama queen! and yes, it is retarded not to eat! do you realize within months you could end up dead? take it from someone with experience, if you are really anerexic you have a poblem and that is most likely the reason for your mood swings. eat something! and if you can't hold down your food, then you are seriously sick and you need to tell somebody. i didn't mean to be rude, but i think your 'depression' is the least of your problems.

Okay, well, I'm 13, and two days ago I went to the bathroom and saw some blood in my...well, underwear...and I didn't talk to my mom about it I just waited to see what happened in a little while after I changed. The next day I didn't get any more blood, I just got big amounts of discharge, and this has never ever happened to me before. My face also broke out, and I was craving chocolate and I was really tired. Does this mean I'm going to get my period soon?
it probably means you already have your period. Almost every girl starts out irregular. that means you have unsteady breaks. so you might have had it yesterday, but todayno blood at all. i have gone months without any blood, or just one day of blood and none for a longer time. don't worry this is completely normal so reast easy.

Ok i have a puppy, i just got the other day and she will be 7 weeks old tomorrow...well my problem is...she wont stop useing the bathroom on my floor in my bedroom and everywhere else in the house...even though i tell her no...thats bad and not to do it again but she keeps on and on whenever i see that shes about to go to the bathroom i pick her up and rush her outside....its annoying and i need advice on how to get her to stop useing the bathroom on my floor...thanks...i'll rate anyone who answers this for me!
i have two dogs iof myself and believe me this is common. the trick is you can't just say no, you have to yell it, while looking mean, and gentleyhit him on the nose. i know this sounds mean, but it works. then whenever he goes outside or waits at the door to 'go' outside give him a treat, a litlle petting with a bisket. i am afraid this will take some time, it won't work overnight. but believe me, it works!

this is perfectly normal, don't worry. it could be numerous things. the material of your bra, the detergant you use, even the perfume/deorderant you splash in the morning. but most likely, the ich is your auxillery hair and and/or peach hair around your chest. a movement as simple as breathing can make a hair ben in the wrong direction, thus, creating an ich. Boby butter with soften, and gel down the hairs. shower regularly, and shave (armpits) everyday.

no, those are a waste of time. you can't be lazy as fun as it may be. i was chubby, but then i joined cross country. running is truely the best solution. run a mile and a half a day and those pounds will fall off!

I just got braces a few weeks ago and I have to get them tightened for the first time on February 1.. I was just wondering.. When you get them tightened, does it hurt as much as it does when you first get your braces on? Do you have to like eat soup and stuff again for a few days after you get them tightened? Another question.. My ortho showed me this special way to floss, but it's such a hassle. It takes forever to floss, and it's really complicated. Do most people floss when they have braces? it does hurt, o man does it hurt. but not as bad as the first time. itz differant for many people but i usually can't eat normally that day, or the next. but the pain subsides quickly.

yes, it is completely normal, it just means that a vein or blood vessel has been broken, nothing to worry about it will heal soon. but it may leave a faded bruise around the piercing, but that will go away too.

for overnight relief put a dab of toothpaste on the zit and sleep on it. for daily zit relief clean it with hydrogen peroxide, thenplace a warm towel over your head to open your pours. then clean it with face wash. if the zit then has a head, pop it. following it with neosporn so it heals nicely.

oKaY, i have this problem where i get white dry spots on my skin especially during the summer when i tan. In the winter they fade. They started appearing two years ago, when i was in the sun all day during the summer! They are really annoying, it seems like theyr dry spots. I believe it might be because I'm not moisturizing enough or whatever. What can i do to make them go away?? i asked my doctor and she just said to use a moisturizer and not to tan (she didnt help AT ALL)..even if i spray tan or w/e they still appear and they look really gross!!!hElp!!!
i have the same problem around my nose. regular moisterizer just isn't powerful enough, so i use foot cream. gross, i know, but good foot creams are heavily loaded with moisterizers and really knock out those spots! but, only put the foot cream on the dry spots because you don't want a greasy face. good luck hunnie!

Ok so when I was six (i am 18 now) my mom died from Multiple sclerosis (MS), I never really knew her because she suffered alot of the years when I was young with MS and she could hardly communicate and move and do things, I have a few vivid memories of her but nothing really happy. (one memory was she asked me to get her something from the cupboard because she was in a wheel chair and to weak to do it and i couldnt hear her or understand and we both ended up being mad because of it) Well for my whole life I have never really had a motherly figure or knew how to be a girl like the other girls my age , like i try being really girly and do make up and such but i cant do it, my older sister was never really around much to help ... like i get upset all the time and I feel that I am never going to be a normal person because I was "abandoned" like... when I have children i will have NO idea what to do, like my boyfriends sister just had a kid and i was trying to change his diaper and a 12 year old but in and was like "this is to big of a job for you" . I am always upset over the fact that I have had no mother and am totally jealous of everyone who has had an easy life growing up with a mom. I guess i am asking what should i do to gte over this? And please no one respond with "get over it loser" blah blah... i dont want to hear it, i just want to know what someone else would do in this situation.
Not everyone with a mother has an automatic sense of girliness. you are not abnormal, many people are just like that. it's ok, there are always classes you can take before becoming a mother. But for now, be yourself. you shouldn't try and change for others. and if you truely want to be gilry, ask a friend to teach you how to put on make up, or ask a girlfriend to go shopping with you to pick out some cute clothing. i learned all my make up tips and clothing style from my friends, and so can you.
